It's been days of repetitive assault ,he didn't even have to wait for the night anymore anytime he feels like it he opens the room and gets his way with me, the feeling of disgust never changed towards this action every time after he done I rush to the bathroom and scrub my body not allowing the maids to touch me.

I've had enough, I had to do something, I sent Angel to get me a poison mixed with vampire blood to weaken him then at his weakest moment there I'll strike at him and end this revenge story forever, my eyes lit up and release an evil smile, I was gradually changing the pain in me was turning me evil I could tell.

Regardless I didn't fight my emotions, I called the maids by snapping my fingers and they entered to dress me up, it's becoming a norm to me now but I can't get used to it for after his demise I'll run away from the vision of anyone who knew me and his demise was today.

When I was done, I walked to the kitchen and saw the personal chef cooking; he not only had a sweet personality but magical hands; indeed, his food was outside of this world.

"How can I help you, Luna," He asks while he bows.

I needed him out of the kitchen so I could put the poison inside the food, but how could I do that? He's so focused on his food, but I still had to do something.

"Can you do something for me?" I asked with a soft voice.

"You don't have to take permission for that, just order me," He spoke with a smile warming my heart.

"I haven't seen Angel. Can you help me go call her for me, please?" I asked.

He didn't hesitate as he bowed down and left the kitchen.

"Well that was easy," I said to myself.

I opened the pot and smelled the aroma that came out from the full meat pot, but there it was, the raw steak meat for the alpha; it looked like someone had a good hunt today. I couldn't help myself as I cut off to taste some portion of it, then finally added the secret ingredient, the vampire blood poison.

The chef didn't give me time to have my evil laugh as he returned back to the kitchen and I had to hide my little bottle behind my back.

"She's waiting for you in the room," He said.

"Call me to serve the Alpha," I spoke, walking out with a smile. When he was done he came and waved at me sitted at the parlour and having a nice son bask.

"Food is ready," I said entering his bedroom.

He just nodded, not paying attention to me, but it didn't bother me as I went and waited for him at the dining table. After half an hour, he came out and, as usual, looking very busy, he sat down and looked at me, shocked.

"So you're joining me today?" He asked.

"Is there any problem if I do?" I asked, surprised at where my courage came from.

The chef came out holding a knife and fork and went to cut a little piece of meat. Why didn't it cross my mind that for a calculated man like him and for someone with so many enemies, he wouldn't be so careless as eating food, just reckless? I couldn't let the chef eat it because it wasn't meant for him at all.

I tried faking a cough, but it didn't stop him. Instead, he dropped the meat and rushed to serve me water, which he tasted first before handing it over to me.

"Are you ok Luna?," He asked with his innocent voice.

I nodded and went and ate the meat; I couldn't bear my conscience if anything happened to him; my heart beat so fast, hoping nothing would happen; I was sweating even though it was cold outside.

How would I live with the blood of an innocent man? This was meant for an alpha, but it would take down a mare omega in seconds; he couldn't stand the lethal poison. It could weaken the Alpha but kill an Omega.

Surprisingly, nothing happened; he ate and looked normal, which shocked me; how did that happen? Don't be confused. I was happy that he was alive but worried because I didn't understand who he was.

"Are you ok?" He asked me.

"Yes," I replied.

He walked out, but my eyes couldn't stop looking at him to see something suspicious.

immediately I was done eating and watching the Alpha eating his meat with no absolute decorum and not a care in the world if anyone found it annoying; I walked out, and my direct route was the kitchen.

I entered cautiously to avoid anyone noticing; I found him there smoking, and immediately he saw me, he dropped the smoke and bowed.

"Can I help you with something or did Angel go missing again?" He asked.

"Who are you?" I asked, going straight to the point.

"I don't understand, ma'am; I'm just a chef," he spoke.

" I won't ask again who you are; how come you survived that," I asked.

Suddenly, he woke up and smiled. I didn't understand, but his smile was very friendly; I felt safe as he turned into a bird. Then, to top it all up, he shifted to look like Luca, then me.

"You're a shape-shifter!" I said.

"Please keep this between us," He said, going back to his original self.

I had only heard of shape shifters but never for once encountered one. Shape-shifters were banned from the pack since they started doing evil things, but no one would be able to recognize them because they would change to be anything to keep us safe, Luca's grandfather, who was the Alpha by then, pronounced them outcasts many centuries ago.

"I can see your desire, but poisoning him would only put you at risk of getting beheaded," He said.

Maybe I didn't think that I was blinded by anger and my desire for revenge.

"I can help you get revenge; you just have to trust me." He spoke, and my eyes lit up their hope for me to finally end him.

"Why couldn't you kill him earlier," I asked.

"The Alpha is a force. Not only can I take him, the only thing I can do is change shapes, but he can kill me in whatever shape I take, his sense is too strong. He could even smell a sneaky snake," He spoke.

He had all my attention; I didn't know the reason he wanted to kill the Alpha, neither did I want to know what mattered the most was that we had the same goal, and that was enough for me to join the alliance with him, I smiled as I lifted my dress ready to go.

"Not so fast, ma'am. We have to make a pact?" He said.

"A pact," I was shocked at this.

"We have to vow never to expose one another no matter the situation even with a knife on our throat we shall never reveal each other's identity, " He said.

I just nodded as I fully understood what he meant. He brought out a bowl which already had blood, the little prick on my hands distracted me from questioning him and totally forgot.

He too did the same thing and chanted words only he could understand as both our blood dripped at the cup. My wolf came out of the struggle so I had to stop to avoid being noticed.

He too stopped and hid the bowl.

"Meet me tomorrow at the gate entry, make sure no one sees you," he spoke.

I quickly rushed back to the room not to alert anyone.
