Chapter 5: Sister in law!

"What is my schedule for today?" Scott demanded in a commanding tone. He had had insomnia for a very long time, since his childhood days.

"Yes boss, everything have been arranged. Miss Diana and her parents will be paying a visit today. Grandfather had asked me to inform you, so that you would be home on time."

Scott sat resting his back on his chair. "What about my brother? He already knew what the meeting would be about, his grandfather had been disturbing him for marriage. He heaved a relieve sigh and massage his temple.

"He is coming to the office today." Speaking of the devil, Maxson showed up in the huge office.

"Hey bro, have you been worried about me? I just took a short journey to spend sometime with my friends, nothing much."

"Is that why you made everyone at home worried? Mum and Grandmother were really worried about you. How many times have I warned you not to leave home without informing anyone?"

Scott stood up from his chair and approached him. The temperature in the room increased with the cold deadly aura emanating from him. Maxson got really scared, he knew his brother's personalities well, he knew no one can mess with him and escape without being caught or punished.

"You can't answer me? Your cards would be freezed as of this moment. Your feeding should be done at home, there won't be pocket money from anyone to you. Before 8 am, you must be in the office. Don't prove stubborn with all these instructions am giving you, or else you would face something more higher than this."

"But brother, it hasn't gotten to this stage. How do you want me to live like this? Maxson lamented with a teary eyes, pleading to his brother to reverse the punishment bestowed on him.

"Joel, call on the planning committee and come to me to the board meeting. Don't make me wait."

"Yes sir." Scott and Joel left the room, leaving Maxson behind.

Maxson was devastated. He just couldn't figure out why his brother would give him such a high punishment, it just like telling him to be living like a dead person, he thought within himself.

When Flora got home last night, she kept thinking about what Scott told her. He wants to marry her? Rich people really thinks they can use the low people anyhow they want? No, he better be joking. Morever, he can't even force me.

She was at her office at work when her boss called her, the manager in charge of her department, via her telephone. "Yes sir, I'll be there right now". The call cut off her thoughts regarding Scott. She stood up and left for her boss office.

Mr William, a man in his late 40's, sitting on his chair in a little big office. He had been really kind to Flora since she has been working in the company. He likes her and believes she is a good girl.

Flora knocked twice and Mr William told her to come in. "Sir, you called for me".

"Yes Flora, I have a very important thing to discuss with you and I'll like you to be the one in charge of it. The CEO would be coming over this afternoon and he would like to see how all the departments are working. He wants everything about each department. Please, I need you to present your own department accounts to him."

"Sir, but am not the one in charge of that. I don't think you should allow me do it". Flora expresses her mind and thoughts, she knew a lot of people doesn't like her. So if she should do the presentation, they would think she is having a special relationship with Mr William.

"Flora, you will be the one to present it. That is final, go and prepare for that now and come show me before the CEO arrives".

Flora left her boss office confused. Why is everyone telling me to do what I don't want to do? Urrrggghhh.

It was 2:00 pm in the afternoon. The CEO of Mainspark Entertainment Company arrived, the person of Mareed Michael, the heir to Mainspark Group in City B. The Mareed family is the second in rank of the wealthiest famous family in City B, friends with Silver Scott family.

All the heads of the departments were already inside the meeting room waiting for the CEO, including the manager, director and their assistants.

Flora sat down 2 seats away from the CEO seat. Micheal's security men opened the door of the meeting room and he entered. Everyone stood up and greeted him. After Michael sat down, everyone also do.

"Without wasting my time, let's begin from the photography department, give your account meaningfully and briefly". Micheal sounded commanding.

Flora stood up. She brought out a file from her bag, and gave everyone each document from the file, including the CEO. She explained briefly what was written on the document and what the photography department has achieved so far, their needs and future projects.

Hearing the melodious voice that had just spoken, Micheal raised up his head because he found the voice very familiar. When he looked at Flora, both of them were really surprised to see each other.

Since he had seen her twice, he had also been curious about this beautiful angel standing in front of him, but he was aware Scott likes her. Well, he wasn't trying to do anything with her, being friends isn't bad right? He asked himself.

"Nice, that was cool. Okay I think with this alone, I can be rest assured that every departments are also doing well. I'll be taking my leave. Submit the other departments' accounts to my assistant, that will do. Miss Ryain Flora, I'll like to see you downstairs".

"Oh..ok Sir". Flora answered in awe. Everyone in the meeting room looked stunned, some were jealous of her while some were just watching.

It was already closing time for Flora because she had some company's project to settle outside tonight. "Let me give you a ride home, come in".

"No need Sir, I have somewhere to go to settle a work affair. I really appreciate, thanks Sir".

"I'll drop you wherever you going then, come in." Micheal offered again. Flora then agreed and went in the car.

"Thanks for the ride Sir, I really appreciate."

"It no thanks, you can always count on me if you need any help. This is my business card".

Michael offered his business card to Flora while both of them were outside the car. Suddenly they heard a familiar voice.

"Sister in law, nice to see you today." Maxson smiled, walk to were the two were standing and extended his hand to Flora.

Sister in law? Michael was really surprised to hear that from Maxson. Even Flora was annoyed. How could this stalker find me here of all places and call me his sister in law, or did Scott really meant what he told her that night?
