Chapter 3 Fire Meets Ice

When you are used to great wealth, it takes a great deal to excite or amuse you, not even the fine Turkish furniture or the mini gallery in the living area of your villa would be amusing or interesting to you, even the brand new German car your dealer just told you was arriving became another late night pizza. Adrian didn't pick up a cigar, he was pacing the expanse of the living room his boot clapping on the thick tiled floor.

The last lifestyle media that had asked for a tour of the house had confirmed that the house was worth 20 million dollars, the marble floor alone was worth 2 million dollars. He was born to wealth, and when you were you had no other choice to expand it. Anyway possible, joining mafia groups, starting them, dining with politicians and generally being a terrible person. Adrian was the kingmaker, it meant he was the evil parent advised their children to not be. The leak in his company was causing him worry, the cold man didn't worry and didn't even let most of his emotions show but all of his crew knew Adrian Russo was bothered. "When do they come?" Adrian asked and one of his men stood up from his position by the window and unlocked a mobile phone. He stretched it out for him to see the message. "I hear they just got into the estate," "Perfect," he muttered. Who knew the worthless Carillo would have anything worth taking? For a man as deadbeat as that to raise something with that much worth, maybe the credit belonged to the girl. He had never met her, not even a picture, just her name and even that had been dug out by one of his aides. He would have to make her agree, however way possible even if it had to be by getting married to her, he didn't mind. He waited for the door to open, to announce Carillo's daughter. Adrian heard the violent struggle first and the commanding tone of his men, it was followed by a very loud, very feminine screaming and then there was nothing, for a while it was all around quiet and finally, the door opened. A brunette was pulled inside, he could see nothing but her full mass of hair that covered most of her face, he didn't care for how she looked, he was only interested in what she could do for him. He loved women surely, and he showed it a lot but it was the last thing on his mind then. The men dragged her into where Adrian stood, and tossed her on the rug next to the fireplace next to him, he could hear her unsteady breathing and the men stood back on each sides, ready to hold she if she attempted to run. "The girl," Adrian waited for her to lift her head up but she didn't, he moved back a little and stretched out his hands, immediately the valet that had been on standby, hurried forward with his cigar. "You didn't have to be rough," Adrian said, taking a long puff of his smoke and the men shook their head. "She was non compliant and very aggresive, and even tried to trap the other men in her office. She is a menace boss," the man said, he sounded honestly irritated, Adrian smiled and walked towards her. "Brownie," he muttered as he moved closer to her. He didn't know her name and her hair was too brown and shinie not to notice, plus, he knew it would upset her if her father's claims were correct. "Won't you say hi to me?" Adrian asked her, as he stood next to her, staring down at her. From his shoes, Emilia could already tell that she hated him. There was no other way to explain it but she hated the man. His voice had venom and even though she was curious to see who it was, she didn't want to give 'the kingmaker' the pleasure of seeing her cry. She cleared her eyes and stood up. She expected an ass faced person, a bearded italian, an old aging smelly face mongrel but she looked into the face of an Angel, a young man. At least what she imagined an Angel would look like. He was tall and lean, with a thick mass of blonde hair, her perverted mind thought of running her hands through it, the first sign that Emilia was unhinged was the fact that she was lusting over a gang leader, an empire leader that just had her captured. His eyes were an icy blue that looked like they could see through her, his face was angelic, if she hadn't seen how grown men had behaved when his name was mentioned she won't believe he was capable of any harm, he was heavenly handsome but she was going to join the queue of Adrian hater. His eyes were brooding and on her. She was an interestingly pretty, he didn't imagine Carillo could form a woman so beautiful. He enjoyed fine things and she was fiercely beautiful. "Why the hell am I here you ass hole?" She asked him, her fangs and irritation surfacing. "What do you want from me?" "Your father told me you had spirit, he didn't tell me you were beautiful." He muttered and reached out to touch her hair and she slapped it away. The men were bothered, she was being a nuisance and although he didn't beat women, he called other women to do that. "What do you know about my father? I don't even know you," she whispered and he smiled, looking more human. His celestial face melted and Emilia had to tame her hungry soul. Was she psychotic? "Yeah, finally we get to that part of the conversation. You're a smart woman, Brownie. Use that brain to listen, or else I'll lock you downstairs In the dungeon so you cool off," "Did you kidnap me to practice your cryptic threats, I've got an actual life away from playing gang with some low esteemed people," she retorted looking around at the men in suits seated all around. It was ironic that Adrian wasn't even in a full suit. He was in a long sleeve gray shirt, and wore dark colored trousers, he looked like a tech guy, a casual mysterious guy. She really wanted to know the height of his craziness, deep in his eyes lay his craziness, she could see it, she recognized hers in him. "I'm not an idle man, Brownie." he said in a crisp tone, losing all his humor. "Your father owes me a damn lot of money, and you here, are going to pay that debt for me." "My name is Emilia not brownie and I am not some fool. My father is an innocent man and I don't even know who you are!" Emilia cried and Adrian took a long puff from his cigar. "We are doing introductions? I am Adrian Russo. The CEO of the Russo group, Russo syndicate and the whole Sky Empire. I am worth over ten billion dollars and I need the debt your father owes paid. In addition, your father is no saint." He said and Emilia looked at the men standing behind him. "How much could he possibly owe that would affect you?" Emilia asked, she was angry and irritated. "It doesn't affect me." He replied and continued. "But the thing is, I told him to get me the money unless you would have to serve me for six months and then it's over. Carillo has said nothing so it means we should go on with you," "What do you need from me?" "You're a hacker Brownie, we checked. A damn good one, I need your skills. You'll do as I say and your pathetic father lives to see another day." He said, he didn't sound like he was joking or humoring her. "Can't I do that from my home?" Emilia asked him, she was trying not to explode in anger and attack him. "No, you must do that from here, that's the point of capturing you. If you care too much about your honor we can get papers that say we are married and after six months we divorce. Go our separate ways, debt free. No foolish love would be involved I assure you. Emilia," he added, placing emphasis on the name, she seethed and there was nothing she could do. What had her father gotten into? Emilia watched him as he said it all so casually and her heart hurt. She hated him. "You are a thug in an angel's body!" "I won't debunk anything, just think of what you stand to lose and be smart. I'll see you later,"
