Chapter 3 She's Hurt

Nina never expected to witness such an incident. Although Jada had threatened her before about her relationship with Marcus, she never expected she was planning to replace her.

With a heavy heart, she confronted them.

"You rejected me for her, Alpha?" She cried. Her voice was shaky and weak.

"How... How can you do this to me? I'm carrying your child."

Marcus seemed surprised upon hearing the last sentence.

Jada instantly wriggled free from Marcus's hands and approached Nina closely. "And how sure are you that the baby belongs to him?"

"You've been sleeping around with lowlifes and now want to pin the pregnancy on Alpha so you could sneak your way into the palace as his Luna," she sneered, almost breathing into her nose.

"Thankfully, Karma caught up with you today. Sleeping with six guys. At least have some shame. Even a porn star would not try such."

Nina's brows raised in shock. She was at a loss for words because she never expected such a bombshell.

Of course, Jada knows Nina doesn't do such; she obviously said that to instigate hatred between them-Marcus and Nina.

It was now that it dawned on Nina that Jada is solely behind her molestation.

"Yes, Nina. Go meet those you've been sleeping with to father your child and not me," Marcus chipped in.

Hearing this, her jaws dropped, staring at Marcus moronically as she tried to digest what she just heard.

Was this the man she fell in love with? She couldn't say anything. She hadn't slept with anyone else before except Marcus, but here he is denying her.

Or has he forgotten he's the one who took her virginity?

"What are you talking about, Marcus?" She didn't even know when she addressed him by his name instead of his title name.

"I never slept with anyone else except you. You're the one who took my virginity, and you know that. So how do I lie against you?"

"I was molested today, so how is the pregnancy result already out if I took in today?" Nina questioned him, completely weakened.

"Ask that to yourself, not me. In fact, I don't want to hear you speak! Enough!" Marcus yelled. His voice was echoing so loudly that Nina was frightened.

"How dare you lie against me? I'm not the father of your child because I was careful when I had intimacy with you."

"But..."

"Get out! Get out of my sight. In fact, you're banished from this pack. How dare you lie against me? Not even remorseful for the atrocity you committed."

"Hulk!" He yelled, and a huge, scary man who happened to be one of his bodyguards appeared immediately.

"Get her out of my sight! She's been expelled from this pack. Make sure she doesn't sleep in this pack." He ordered him, and Hulk didn't hesitate to carry out the task.

Nina choked on her cries as the guard bundled her and dragged her away roughly from the scene.

"How could you do this to me, Marcus?" She yelled, crying. "We have a baby together. Please don't do this to me!" She pleaded, but all her efforts to get Marcus' empathy proved abortive as the guard dragged her out roughly.

He led her out off to the pack border before finally pushing her off and then locking the gate.

Nina staggered and fell on the concrete beam beside the gutter, and she groaned with pain, remembering all her life misfortunes.

After lying on the floor for some minutes, she tried to stand up to leave the place because it's a danger zone. Rogues are known to camp at that route, especially at night.

However, as Nina tried to stand up, she felt a liquid running down her thighs from her womanhood.

Terrified and with shaky hands, she reached down, and when she saw blood, she let out a scream filled with pain. "Marcus, you said you loved me only to take advantage of me and dump me for Jada. If anything happens to our baby, I'll never forgive you in my entire life."

Just then, Nina felt footsteps coming in her direction, and she swallowed her pain and hid inside the gutter. She was scared to death because she thought it's footsteps of rogues.

She couldn't smell who it was because her wolf is too weak to perform.
