Chapter 7 Torn Loyalties

Gavin's mind was a jumble of emotions as he walked Sophia home. He couldn't believe what she had just revealed - that she was the daughter of a rival gang leader. As they strolled through the quiet streets, Gavin's phone buzzed with an incoming text from Marcus. "Meet me at the warehouse," the message read. "We have a situation." Gavin's instincts told him that something was off. He excused himself and made his way to the warehouse, his heart racing with anticipation. When he arrived, he found Marcus and the rest of the crew waiting for him. "What's going on?" Gavin asked, his voice firm.

Marcus hesitated before speaking. "We've received intel that Sophia's father is planning to move in on our territory," he said. "We need to take action." Gavin's eyes narrowed. "What kind of action?" he asked. Marcus's expression was grim. "We need to take out Sophia's father," he said. "It's the only way to protect our crew." Gavin felt like he'd been punched in the gut.
