Chapter 4 Secrets and Lies

Gavin picked Sophia up from her apartment the next morning, feeling like a teenager on his first date. He arrived at her doorstep, bearing a bouquet of flowers and a charming smile. As they drove to the diner, Sophia couldn't help but notice the way Gavin's eyes crinkled at the corners when he smiled. She felt a flutter in her chest, and suddenly, she was glad she had agreed to breakfast. Over pancakes and coffee, Gavin and Sophia delved deeper into each other's lives.
