Chapter 5 Ivy giving up

'What do you mean, Rieka?'

'I have a really strange feeling. Whenever I feel that, then something happens. I have that feeling now.'

Ivy scoffed.'Let's go to sleep already, Rieka. Maybe it's because we almost lost our cub today. I am also still shaking from that.' She reasoned.

*Maybe that is it. But Beta Bernard is going to pay for what he did to our cub. I promise you that.* Rieka swore to Ivy.

*Can we now go to sleep?* Ivy asked.

'Not yet. I am thirsty. We need to go get some water.' Rieka suggested.

After rolling her eyes, Ivy got up from the mattress. 'Fine! But please stop being paranoid and let's get some sleep after you drink the water.' Ivy proposed. She looked at the sleeping figure of Lilly before leaving the room. She went to the kitchen with another tiptoe. Her limping was less now because the liquid substance she was injected with was finally leaving her body and she was starting to heal. Until it leaves her body completely before she can heal all through.

After drinking the water, she tosses the empty bottle into the trash. She was happy that she did not run into anyone that night and was about to leave the kitchen when she saw a figure at the entrance. It startled her at first before she realised who it was. It was Beta Bernard. As if he was waiting for her to notice him, he immediately grabbed her by the neck and pinned her to the nearest wall.

'This Is my opportunity to get back at him for what he did to our cub. Let me take control.' Rieka growled in anger.

'Calm down, Rieka.' Ivy said to her.

"You mutt, what are you doing here at this time of the night? Are you trying to steal? I thought I asked you to stay by my mate's side and attend to her needs." Beta Bernard concluded.

"Let me go, please." Ivy pleaded through the little airway she had left. She couldn't explain herself at the moment so she said the simplest thing she could make up.

Beta Bernard gave a sinister laugh. "What if I don't? Then what?" He asked "Maybe I should kick you just as I kicked that bastard child of yours."

'That is it!' Rieka said. At the mention of their cub, she didn't hesitate for another second.

'Rieka, no!' Ivy tried to stop her. But she didn't listen or hold back. She immediately took over and pounced on Beta Bernard.

He was caught by surprise that he didn't think of a way to defend himself at the time. It was something he never expected with the way he had dealt with Ivy earlier.

Reika slashed his face with her claws, creating a bloodied line across his face. He grunt in pain.

"You filthy Mutt." Beta Bernard growled, releasing his powerful aura. With force, he pushed her off of him.

Rieka hit the wall and immediately she gave Ivy control. She tried to run but before she could take a step, Beta Bernard grabbed her. "You bastard. Where do you think you are going? You are coming with me." He said as he pulled her by the neck.

Ivy followed without argument. She will just face her punishment. At least she now has a little strength that she could endure the pain for some time.

Noticing how undisturbed she was, Beta Bernard stopped. "Looks like you like it when I punish you, don't you?" He began to go in a different direction. "In that case, I am taking you to the Alpha."

With wide eyes and shocked expression, Ivy began to pull away. "No... Please. Not the Alpha. You can punish me however you want but please don't take me to him." She began to plead but it was all in vain.

Beta Bernard seems to enjoy how Ivy was terrified by the idea of being reported to their Alpha. Her pleading fell on deaf ears as he dragged her up the stairs.

He seemed to have mindlink the Alpha because when they got there, he was already standing outside the room.

"What did she do now?" Alpha Trevor asked.

"Your fucking lunatic of a mate!" Beta Bernard began as he let Ivy go and she fell to the floor. "She did this to me." He pointed to his face as he breathed with anger.

"I- I am sorry. Please." Ivy whimpered as she pleaded with them.

"Shut the hell up." Alpha Trevor commanded and Ivy couldn't disobey their Alpha. She obeyed his command and didn't say another word. "Get inside and strip. I am going to deal with you the worst way possible." He added.

Ivy got up and walked into the room. Her body shivered as she did. She began to fiddle with her clothes.

"You can go now. I will take it from here." Alpha Trevor said to his Beta. After that, he walked into the room and closed the door behind him.

"You ugly bitch. You are son in for it tonight." Alpha Trevor said before pouncing on her without warning.

**An hour later**

Ivy is on the floor as she bled between her legs and other parts of her body. She was still completely naked and when the cold breeze blew from the window, she shivered.

As if she hadn't had enough, Alpha Trevor grabbed his whip. "Looks like someone is cold. Don't worry dear mate, I am going to warm you up soon." He said before using the whip on her skin.

Ivy screamed in pain and her body shivered even more. The Alpha seems to be enjoying her pain and agony.

"Please...... " Ivy began with a shaky voice. "Please just kill me already."

"Kill you? Hahaha. You are not going to have it that easy, dear mate." Alpha Trevor mocked her. With force, he yanked one of her folded legs "Ugly bitch." He read out and laughed once again. Those were the words Beta Bernard carved on her thigh. "I have to say, he did a good job there. Get on the bed." He added as his laughter disappeared quickly.
