Chapter 4 (The two sides of love)

Emily is standing by the roadside as she's unable to find a ride to school. Suddenly a car pulled over beside her. She looked down a little to see who it was and it was Bob.

"I guess I'll be having a good day since I saw you this morning," he said teasingly smiling

"Well I know my day won't be good, seeing that you're here and I have to see your face this morning"

Bob couldn't help but smile at her, Emily was the first woman to ever give him a hard time and for what felt like ages he'd seen a woman playing hard to get, and to him, it was really fun

"well I beg to disagree, c'mon lemme give you a lift, you're going to school right"

Emily ignored him and stood there not making a move or an attempt to enter his car

"Seeing that you're going to dream high school, it would be quite difficult to get a cab, so why don't you drop the act and lemme give you a lift?" he tried to persuade her.

Emily looked at her wrist watch she was late already she sighed and left with no other choice she opened the door and entered inside trying not to make eye contact with him

"You look too hot to be a teacher. Nice outfit," he complimented her and she ignored him.

"So what else did Kate tell you, huh? You already know that I'm a teacher and where I teach; what else did she tell you?" is asked in a more annoyed than curious tone.

"Well she said you didn't use to be this hurt-tempered and annoying," Bob told her

"Ooh, did she? Did she say that I was annoying, or is that what you think of me?" She said this time in a more curious tone.

"She didn't need to tell me that I mean right from the time I met you, you didn't spare a moment to appreciate me, buying you a cappuccino, and champagne at the club, and now I'm giving you a lift, I mean a thank you wouldn't hurt you know" Bob told her

"Well, I didn't ask you for all those things, and men think that spending money on women means that you like them," Emily said in a serious tone of voice.

"You are not asking me, and I am still doing is the more reason you should say thank you, and for the record, women don't stick with guys if they don't have money, so why not enjoy the luxuries and play cool," he said this time he wasn't smiling at all.

"I wonder how many women you have hurt with your mindset, and come to think of it, the waitress said something about you being a flirt, and I think she's right,t," she said, looking directly at him now.

Bob pulled over angrily at the side of the road, which was almost close to the high school; Emily was frightened as she realized she might have spoken out of tone with him. As soon as he pulled over, he turned around, facing her directly as said.

"And I wonder how many men you have hurt and pushed away with your silly mindset you know what Kate also said you got abandoned on your wedding day and I felt bad hearing that but seeing this whole b******* you're putting on right now I'll not feel bad about it anymore because I understand The young man must have known you were gonna be sensible to understand the real deal of relationship, that's your school so get the f*** out of my car" Bob said in a harsh tone Emily was dumbfounded as to how a stranger was aware of her life she said nothing else as she quickly opened the door and banged it hard at his face and he drove off quickly.

Emily storms into the school premiere and sees Kate in the corridor chatting with a teacher. As soon as she sees Emily she smiles and walks towards her.

"Hey you, you're late today what happened" noticed the upset look on her face "Hey are you alright" She said looking concerned

"You told him everything, didn't you!?" Emily yelled at her that it cost everyone's attention as the hall went completely silent and all eyes were on Emily and Kate. Kate looks around and sees that everyone has their attention on them and tries to calm her down, although she is curious to know what she is talking about.

"Listen calm down okay, let's go somewhere private and talk about this, we're inside the school and the students are looking at us please," Kate said in a calm and gentle tone, she also tried holding her hand to take her away but Emily was raged she dragged her hand away and said

" I don't f****** care about anybody looking at me or listening to my conversation Kate and it is so disappointing as how you could let my life out there in front of a stranger you don't know," Emily said to her, as she was unable to control her emotions and put her anger in check.

The principal, hearing the commotion going on, came out from his office and saw the students standing in the corridor while some were standing at the door of their classroom, and some were looking out from the window.

"I thought the school bell rang twenty minutes ago; why are you clustered here? Go inside your classrooms immediately," he ordered them and walked towards Emily and Kate, who were the center of attraction.

"What's going on here Miss Wilson, why are you creating a scene In Front of the students and putting their classes on hold" he asked

"I'm sorry Mrs Williams, It was just a slight misunderstanding" Kate apologized

"Look Miss Wilson, you need time to get yourself together and with that, you're suspended"
