"Cailegh!" I stopped running and took out my earphones because I heard someone call my name.

"I've been calling you for a while..." I turned and saw Harris looking for me in front of me. I adjusted my earphones around my neck and smiled at Harris.

"Sorry, Ris, I had my earphones on..." I apologized, and he just smiled and nodded at me.

"It's fine. By the way, have you been jogging for a long time?" I nodded and wiped the sweat off my forehead with a towel.

"Yup, almost an hour. How about you?" I asked as I started running again; he ran with me and spoke.

"Not yet 30 minutes..." he said as we both ran around the park, sometimes stopping to drink water.

"Are you tired?" I covered the water bottle before turning to him.

"Nope, I'm good..." I smiled, he laughed and pinched my nose.

"Ouch! Harris!" I swatted his hand away and pouted. He just laughed again and messed up my hair.

This guy is really silly...

"You really are something," he smiled and looked around. "Want some ice cream?" I swallowed hard and sat up straight at what he said, suddenly, I got excited and quickly nodded.

Ice cream!

"Of course! Where is it? Are you treating me?" I smiled sweetly and raised my eyebrows.

"What else would it be?" He laughed and stood up. "Wait here..." I nodded and watched him go.

I leaned back on the bench and felt the fresh air; it was eight in the morning so the sun wasn't too hot on my skin. I fixed my hair in a ponytail and looked around.

I felt like someone was watching me, so I tried to look for them, but I couldn't see anyone. Must be my imagination...

I wonder how Travis is doing? His face suddenly popped into my mind.

We came back to the city early because of an emergency at my parents' company. I wanted to stay for Travis, but they didn't agree. We left at night, so I couldn't say goodbye to him.

Will we meet again? I didn't even get his phone number, it was really stupid of me. It's so annoying.

I also didn't say yes or no when he offered for me to pretend to be his fiancée in exchange for helping me remember. I found the offer tempting, but I didn't decide right away. I told him I would think about it first, and that night, we left.

What a mess, how can I contact him?

"Travis?" I stood up and followed with my eyes a man running in front of me. Am I imagining things?

I stared at his back as he jogged away, and then it hit me. It really is Travis!

"Travis!" I ran to catch up with him.

"Travis!" I shouted and quickened my pace. Why is this handsome guy so far away?!

"Travis!" I yelled with all my strength, and I was so loud that he stopped running. I saw him take out his earphones and run his hand through his hair before looking over at me.

"Travis! Hi!" I waved while smiling widely, oh my gosh, he's so handsome!

His eyes widened as he looked at me, and I saw the surprise in his eyes when he recognized who I was.

"Trav!" I ran closer to him, but then I realized that I stepped on something, which made me lose my balance and scream loudly.

I was ready to fall on the cold hard ground, but it didn't happen because there were hands that caught my waist before I fell.

I just stared at the ground in shock, that was close!

"Clumsy! Watch your steps, woman!" Travis said firmly and angrily as he helped me stand up.

"Sorry..." I said softly and looked down, feeling embarrassed again. In front of him!

"Sorry? You weren't careful! What if you fall and get hurt?!" He said angrily while holding my arm. I kept staring at the ground and absorbing what he was saying.

"What if no one caught you?!"

"But you were here..." I said quietly and bit my lip.

"Fuck, yes, I'm here but what if I wasn't? Learn to take care of yourself, okay?" I nodded while looking down. It felt like my dad was scolding me while he spoke.

"Sorry..." I said again; I heard him sigh and felt his hand move to my elbow, surprising me when he suddenly knelt in front of me.

"What..." I couldn't finish what I wanted to say because I saw him tie the shoelace that came undone from when I stepped on it earlier.

I smiled without thinking, and my heart raced from what he did.

"There..." He stood up, and I lifted my gaze to see him clearly.

"Thank you.." I smiled, but he just ignored me and then turned around and started running again.

"Hey Travis!" I ran to keep up with him. "Talk to me, I'm sorry already..." I said and looked at him, but his face showed no reaction, and he didn't look at me. He just kept looking straight ahead while running.

I ran faster to get in front of him and blocked his way. I held my arm out like I was playing tag so he couldn't pass.

"Get out of the way.." he said annoyed, and I gasped as sweat dripped from his forehead down to his sharp nose.

Shit, brace yourself, Cailegh!

"Just talk to me first.." I said playfully and pouted. He stared at me, and a moment later, he cursed loudly in front of me.

"What's wrong with you?" I asked in surprise, but he frowned at what I said and irritably messed up his hair.

"Get out of the way, woman. I have somewhere to go." I pouted even more. Sometimes he's nice and smiling, other times he acts like he's angry.

"You're leaving? I'm coming with you.." I smiled, but he didn't say anything and just kept staring at me.

"I'm coming with you, okay?" I moved closer to him and grabbed his arm. I saw him pause for a moment, but I didn't mind.

Whatever, I want to go with him now. I'll ask him about my past and get his number so we can text each other.

"You can't. They don't allow clumsy people there." I stomped my feet, this guy is so killjoy!

"I'm coming!" I insisted. He shook his head and looked at me.

"No. You can't." He said as the corners of his lips lifted. Why is he so handsome? His good looks are annoying; they give me a high!

"Oh, by the way, Harris!" Suddenly, I let go of his arm. "Sorry for bothering you, oh no.. I left someone behind. Okay Trav, bye!" I turned around and ran away.

Geez, I forgot about Harris!

"Where are you going?" My breath stopped when I felt an arm wrap around my waist from behind, making me stop running.

"H-Harris, um.. I'm going back.." I stammered.

"I'm leaving, didn't you say you were coming with me?" Huh? Didn't he say it wasn't allowed?

"You said.."

"Are you coming or not?" I felt his breath on my ear, making it hard for me to breathe normally.

"I'm going back to Harri--"

"Come on Leigh, are you coming or not?" He whispered firmly but softly in my ear, and I could feel his hard chest against my back.
