Chapter 2 He didn't find out.

Michael got to the hotel before me. Bessie's dressing had wasted my time. As I got into the room, the air that greeted me stinked with alcohol.

I held my breath and walked towards Michael, who was slumped on the bed, drenched in alcohol.

I guess he perceived my body spray because he moved from the position he was in and raised his head to fix his blurry eyes on me.

"Wh.. Why are you late?" He stuttered.

I tried to find an excuse to give him, but before I could think of one, Michael had already stood up and pinned me to the wall.

I stiffened. My whole body shook in fear as his piercing blue eyes rammed through my body. "You are so damn hot." He muttered in my ears as he bent his head and took in my right earlobe. He sucked for a few minutes before pulling me closer to his muscular abs and carrying me to the bed.

He carried me like he would carry a feather. My body felt so comfortable in his arms, but my brain was in a jumble, rolling from the left side of my head to the right in panic.

Michael handled me sweetly at first, but after making me reach my climax, he became so rough. He muttered some words incoherently as he rode inside of me. I could feel the heat in his body. It wasn't the heat of one who was being pleasured, Michael was angry, and he passed all his anger on to my feeble body.

After three hours of sexmaking, Michael fell heavily on the bed. Veins were popping out of his head, and his face was darkened.

"Send your account details and your cost to the lady that called you. Get lost from the room before daybreak." He instructed.

" I wanted to ask what lady he was talking about, but then, I realized that I was the lady. He had thought I was the girl he requested, and he told her to send her bank details to me."

I didn't even wait till daybreak. I quickly left the room for the hotel reception. I called Bessie.

"What's up? Did he find out?" She asked, her voice in high hopes, waiting to hear something.

" No, he didn't, but he would if I wasted any more time in this hotel. Please, come pick me up." I spoke hurriedly.

Before anyone could say Jack Robinson, Bessie had already rode like a crazy being that she was and arrived at the hotel.

We both got into the car and left for her house. I explained to her the way Michael behaved.

" I could feel his anger. He was rough with me, he only asked for a girl to cool off his wrath, but I don't know if my intimacy with him helped him in any way." I told her, a bit concerned, but Bessie cut me off.

"Well, that's his business. Did he find out you were the one?" She asked again to be very sure.

"No, he didn't."

"Good, the news I want to hear. Michael can go to hell for all I care. It's not my business. Send my account details to him, not yours. Make sure to show me before forwarding it to him." She warned with a serious face.

"Yes ma." I nodded my head and left her to take a shower.

"You can't get over me, right? You still love me, don't you?" Penny asked, walking a circle around Michael's chair.

"What do you want?" Michael asked with gritted teeth.

" Nothing much, just take me back, Michael. I want to be your girlfriend, I want to get married to you." She said it straightforwardly without beating around the bush.

"You damn bitch!!" Michael roared at her as he got up and pushed her to a wall, pinning her down with great strength.

"Don't push me." Michael warned. "How dare you!! Why are you back in the city? I don't care what you do, don't just try me."

"That's what I want to do." Penny fired back, not fazed by Michael's ablazed face, which was glowing with resentment.

"I want to try you. Michael, I still love you, and it's better to make use of my love while it's still available, otherwise, I'll hate you and use the crime you committed against you. Get married to me before I change my mind." Penny concluded, determination glaring in the stares she gave Michael.

"Damn you!" Michael cursed, as he sprawled back on the sofa.

" The only thing that will make me reconsider getting married to you is if you have a girlfriend, which I know you don't have because you already hate all the ladies. You can't hate me, I won't allow that." Penny said.

Michael turned his icy gaze on her and said, "I have a girlfriend. You didn't turn me into a dead man, I still have the heart to love."

"Hahaha, I don't believe you, I want to meet your girlfriend tomorrow." She said that and left Michael alone.

As Michael sat on the bed, brooding over the events that occurred between Penny and himself, his phone beeped.

Sir, this is the account details of the lady who was with you last night. Her price is one million dollars. Michael read the message.

His eyebrows deepened to a frown, and he squinted his eyes to be sure that he read the message right.

The lady's name is Lisa Maverick, why is the account name Bessie Jordan? It's different from the lady's name. Does Penny have a hand in this? He reasoned.

Without wasting any time, he forwarded the money straight to the account he received and put a call through to his men.

"Do a thorough search on these ladies, Lisa Maverick and Bessie Jordan. Two of you should get to this hotel and check the CCTV footage to find out about the lady that came here last night."

I need your findings before the end of today. Get to it now." He ordered, and ended the call.
