Chapter 4 Did He Think He Was a King

When Rose heard his words, her face turned cold. She glared at Kevin.

How could he be so overbearing? Did he think he was some kind of king and everyone had to obey him?

Rose thought to herself.

She wanted to curse him out loud because she didn't like how he threatened her with her family...

However, before she could open her mouth, her eyes fell on his clothes and watch. When she first saw him, she was too shocked by his face to notice the details, but now, looking closer...

The watch he was wearing looked extremely expensive. She didn't know the brand, but from its appearance, she could tell it was worth a fortune. The clothes on his body also looked tailored and branded.

And the car she was sitting in was a black Rolls-Royce...

These details were enough for Rose to realize that, although she didn't know who this man was, he was no ordinary person. He seemed like a wealthy young master.

No matter how angry she was, Rose wasn't a fool. She knew she couldn't afford to offend someone like him. Taking a deep breath, she calmed herself down and tried her best to speak in a normal tone.

"Sir, I don't know who you are, but from your clothes and car, I can tell you're rich and powerful. On top of that, you have such a handsome face. With all these qualities, I'm sure there are plenty of women willing to have your child. So, why are you coming after me? Can't we just go our separate ways?"

Rose looked at him, trying to sound as clear and composed as possible.

But as soon as she finished speaking, the atmosphere inside the car became stifling. The man sitting in front of her seemed to radiate coldness.

She couldn't understand why he was always so angry...

She hadn't said anything wrong! Why was he acting like she'd committed some grave offense?

Kevin's expression turned colder as he looked at her. How could she talk like this?

Without saying a word, he turned his face away and started the car.

"Hey! What are you doing? Where are you taking me? Let me out!" Rose shouted when she saw the car moving. She tried to open the door, but it was locked...

Kevin didn't even glance at her as he drove away.

Rose didn't know who he was or what he wanted. Where was he taking her? She couldn't just let him do whatever he wanted.

Thinking this, she tried to stop the car.

Kevin saw her actions and dodged her attempts. But Rose didn't stop... "I'm telling you, stop the car! I want to get out! Stop the car!"

She leaned over and tried to grab the steering wheel.

"If you keep messing around like this, don't blame me if we get into an accident," Kevin said in a cold voice.

Rose froze.

He was right. She couldn't risk her life like this. Her parents still needed her; she couldn't afford to act recklessly...

Reluctantly, Rose sat back and stayed quiet.

Kevin saw her like this and focused on driving, but on the whole way she was still on guard.

Rose silently vowed to herself that if he dared to do anything to her, she wouldn't let him go-no matter how rich or powerful he was.

After about half an hour, the car finally stopped.

Rose looked around and saw that he had taken her to the most famous shopping mall in the city.

Kevin got out of the car and motioned for her to follow. When she got out, he grabbed her hand and dragged her into a shop.

Rose tried to pull her hand away, but his grip was too strong. She couldn't shake him off.

Looking around the shop, Rose realized they were in a bridal boutique. Confused, she asked, "Why did you bring me here?"

A shop assistant came forward and greeted them..

"Hello, sir. Hello, madam. How can I help you?"

The shop assistant was only a young girl in her twenties. She couldn't help but blush when she saw Kevin's face. She had never seen a man so handsome, not even on TV! Her heart was beating fast as she looked at him.

Kevin ignored her reaction and said coldly, "Bring out the best wedding gowns in your shop and let her try them on."

The shop assistant's eyes widened in surprise. She glanced at Rose enviously, thinking to herself, 'How lucky she is to have such a handsome husband!'
