Chapter 7 THE NEW HISTORY TEACHER

" Oh!!!! Melanie, are you okay?" Bion asks, snapping me out of my imagination. Oh I am alive, I was just imagining my death. I have never been so happy to be alive. I look down at my body. I am fine, not even a burn.

" How is that possible?" I ask in a shaky voice.

" You are fine" he stutters.

"Yes I am" I say, he hugs me again tighter than before. I feel a pleasant feeling in my chest as I hug him back. Sabrina walks up to us.

" How dare you touch my man" and she yells at me. How dare she say that? I don't think twice before giving her a slap.

"Aaahhhh!!!!" she screams. I give her another slap.

Again, again and again.

" Bion is mine" I growled. I have never felt so possessive, my inside is burning something clawing at my chest to let it out. I growl louder.

" Finally someone puts her in her place"

" What just happened?"

" Melanie slapped Sabrina?"

" Omg this is awesome"

Students kept murmuring and talking.

" You will pay for this I promise you" she yells stomping her feet. Haven't I already paid enough for things I didn't do. She is so ungrateful after everything I have done for her. I feel so angry she can rot on hell for all I care.

" Let's go girls" she snaps her fingers and they left like crabs that they are.

I felt bold one minute the next I am shivering. What have I done? I am so dead.

" Oh God, what did I do?" I ask myself.

" Listen to me Melanie. Sabrina is just a human, you are not. You have powers she can't and will never have. You are stronger, faster and more intelligent. Do not let her step on you again. She has done more than enough of that okay?" he encourages, I nod.

It's true am a supernatural, and she has done enough harm to my life than good. I wonder why I am so scared of her after all she is only human. At that moment I made up my mind not to be scared of her again.

" Bion!!!" Origen yells running towards us with Macho and Tios.

" How?" Tios asks confused. Looking at my skin which is glowing rather than burning.

" Even I don't know" I say shrugging. They all look at themselves and Bion shakes his head.

" It can't be" he says still shaking his head.

" Well that's the only explanation" Macho whispers.

" What do you guys know that I don't?" I ask.

" The only vampire who has the ability to withstand sunlight is the DAMOKLES family. That is the royal family. I am an alpha of the cougar and wolf clan, but this family is the alpha of all alphas in the supernatural realm. They are the most powerful in all of history, and only this family has the ability to withstand sun, they are called the sunwalkers" Bion explains.

" Wait so you think I am one of them?" I ask pointing at my chest in disbelief.

" That's one option" Tios murmurs

" But how?" I ask confused. My questions just keep getting more with no answers. If I am one of them how come I ended up here? Are they looking for me?

" Years ago, our King Magnus DAMOKLES and his wife Demetra had a daughter named Elpida. She was a cruel princess, very wicked, she killed mercilessly with ni pity--"

" I heard she once killed a maid just because she looked her in the eyes" Macho says cutting Bion off.

"She also ripped out her heart" Origen adds.

" She also killed a baby because the child cried when she was passing" Tios says, shaking his head.

" That's enough. What kind of a cruel person is that" I murmur.

" Ands she was just six" Tios says. I gasps that is demonic.

" So what happened to her?" I ask curious.

" She vanished, we never knew or heard what happened to her. She just disappeared and the King never spoke about it" Bion answers.

" So are you trying to say–"

" That you might be Elpida" Macho interrupts.

What???? It can't be possible. Could I ever be that cruel? I can't even stand killing a fly not to talk of a human. No it can't be.

" No it can't be me. I refuse to believe that", I say shaking my head in disbelief.

" Well it's just a theory we are not sure yet" Origen whispers making me smile.

" Who is she?" I say pointing at a young lady behind Bion. She is standing behind a pillar staring at us intensely

"I don't know" Macho shrugs.

" She has been staring at us since we started talking. It is suspicious. I also saw her earlier. She is weird" I say still looking at her. Bion turns, but immediately their eyes meet she walks away.

" My lion does not like her too, she smells of death. She isn't human I am sure" Bion growls his eyes glowing green.

" Death? Who the heck is she?"Tios asks,scrunching his noseup like he smells something disgusting.

" That we have to find out" Origen murmurs.

" She so doesn't look like one to bring something good" Macho says lowly.

" If she smells of death then she is definitely bad news" I whisper.

" We will talk about it later. Let's go to class" Bion says, slightly tapping me to move. We all head to class.

I have history now, and the teacher isn't here yet so I settle myself into my seat.

"Yoo!!!!" Callisto yells, sitting beside me.

" Gosh you ar loud girl" I say rubbing my temple. Today is getting me worked up.

" Duh" she replies rolling her eyes. At that moment the teacher walks in. I jump in my seat when I see her. It's the lady that was watching us the same one Bion said smells like death.

" Good day class, I am Miss Despoina Enyo, but you can can simply call me Miss poina" she drawls, her voice is cold and stiff it send chills down my bones. Who is she?

" What sort of name is that? Sounds suitable for a pig" Sabrina mocks making the class erupt with laughter. I look at the teacher, she smiles but it does not reach her eyes.

She raises her fingers which were extremely long and sharp. For Christ sake, she shouldn't be allowed to keep such nails, it could harm a student.

" Silence!!!!" her voice booms round the class. Everyone keeps quiet immediately.

" Do you have any idea what I hate most" she drawls, walking towards Sabrina who still doesn't seem scared. I have a feeling this is going to be bad.

" I don't know, wait let me guess your name?" Sabrina says with a smirk while some student giggle.

" Wrong, it's disrespect " she drawls,raises one of her finger to Sabrina's face.

" What are you doing?" Sabrina asks fearfully. Oh now she is scared what a dummy. I feel like I should do something, but I want to see what she will do.

" Teaching you some manners" she says in the next moment she raises her finger and cuts her deep. Blood gushes out of her cheeks down Miss point's hand.

" Aaahhh!!!!" she screams.
