Chapter 10 IDENTITY REVEALED

For hundreds of years, I have waited, clinged and held onto hope for my dreams to come true. When Melanie disappeared I felt finally my time had come, but still they refused and clinged on to hope just like I did. Time and time again I pressured them to give me what should be mine, they refused.

Rumors had it that Melanie died. I knew she didn't die, but for her own sake I dearly hoped she stayed dead because I am done hoping, done clinging.

Now, I will take what rightfully belongs to me. Even if it means thousands have to die, I must make them pay for all the years they made me wait.

"Master, the mistress wishes to see you," a servant says with a bow. I pull out my fingers that I stuck in my palm, blood drips down my hand making me chuckle.

"Oh is that so? Let her in" I say, raising my hand to the only light illuminating the whole room. I watch as the wound heals itself giving out black smoke.

"Why do you want to see me Mistress?" I ask. I can hear her heartbeat inside the room.

" I have some reports. Melanie is not as strong as you claim her to be, but of course it is to my advantage" she says dully.

Her heels click loudly as she walks further into the room towards me. She knows nothing about Melanie. She is the strongest, most powerful and ruthless of all the supernatural. Her powers are unleashed now, but she has no idea how much power she yields that is why I must kill her before she finds out.

" All this facade makes me sick" I murmur, placing my fingers over my face.

The Mistress laughs, raising her finger and she snaps at them. Her face begins to melt away into something else. Her body is covered in different marks, her face is also covered with marks, her hair is weak and scanty, her eyes burning red. She looks hideous.

" Now this is the beauty of the Mistress I know" I laugh.

" I will take that as a compliment. After being in hell for over a decade, I do deserve some accolades" she says, smirking.

" How did today go?" I ask curiously.

" She is around a dragon, vampire, witch, and the alpha of the cougar and wolf clan. I also noticed a banshee with her" she replies with a smug look like it's a piece of cake.

" It is a piece of cake, I haven't been in hell for decades for nothing" she whispers.

" Banshee? Are they not supposed to be extinct?" I am taken aback.

" I have gathered over 20 troops. The children there are very naughty, so I have more than enough reason to control them" she smirks.

" But I do have a question though, why? Why do you want Melanie dead? You sacrificed a life to bring me from hell all to kill her, why? After all I do know she is your blood" the mistress says with a sly smile.

My chest rumbles from laughter, I take my face closer to the only light in the room.

" Well, aren't you the smart one? She has what belongs to me" I smile darkly.

" Which is?" she questions. I bang my fist on the table in front of me, shattering it to pieces.

"Do not question me. I have your life within my grasp, so watch what you say" I whisper angrily. I knew something like this would happen, that's why I prepared.

"I want her dead and she will die, I don't care if I have to burn the whole human race along. SHE MUST DIE!!!" I yell.

BACK AT THE UNDERGROUND LIBRARY

"So tell me who she is?" I ask, still fuming. My inside feels like it's on fire, my head is banging. I feel like a volcano about to erupt.

"Let me out." a voice whispers in my head followed by a loud bang.

" Ahhhh!!!!" I scream out in pain, pulling my hair furiously.

" Your highness please I am sorry, forgive me." I hear the keeper yell.

"Kill him, he defied us, he defied you. KILL HIM!!!" the voice yells louder.

"No, don't kill him," another voice yells.

I look around only to see a very angry looking lion, all the fur is pure white not even a dot of black. It bares his teeth at me, its eyes pure white.

" I said kill him," the lion says. Joder, the lion talks.

" I said no" a wolf appears to my right.

" Choose wisely,let me kill him."the lion growls again.

" No, he did nothing wrong. He__" I was cut short as the lion lunged at me.

ORIGEN POV

What in the moon goddess' name is happening? A minute ago, Mel was wounded and now she is hurting herself.

" What is happening?" Bion yells worriedly. He looks like he is about to cry. Pains can be felt by mates, so I can only wonder what he is going through right now.

"It's impossible," the old man murmurs.

"What? What is impossible? "I ask sharply.

"She is the heir to the supernatural, she is Elpida."he says.

Holy macaroni cow. How is that even possible?

"Can you see the way her eyes flicker between rainbow, and white. Her lion is a pure white breed lion, and she is fighting it. Fighting not to let it out because all the lion knows is darkness, and destruction" he says, his voice dripping with fear.

I turn to her eyes wide open. White pure breed lions have only ever been a myth, and they are known for darkness regardless of them possessing white furs.

They are cruel, and kill for sports, their thirst for blood is unsatisfactory. When they change they don't stop killing until thousands are dead, those creatures are unstoppable.

"Ahhhh!!!" Mel screams snaps me back to reality. She flings herself to the other side of the room, breaking numerous shelves as she does. We ran over to her.

"Kill them all!!!" she growls, her voice very deep unlike her.

"No!!!!" she screams again, her hand on her head.

Her claws grow out, and she starts tearing herself, clawing at her face, legs, hands everywhere. The place turns bloody within a second.

"Oh no! She is going to kill herself." the banshee screams.

"If you take one more step towards her, she will rip you to pieces." the old man's voice stops Bion from moving further.

"She won't be able to fight it." Tios says.

"She will kill herself. We have to find a way to stop her." Macho yells.

" Hey lion!!!"I yell, making her turn to me immediately I freeze her with my ice.

"Why didn't you think of that since?" Macho asks, yelling.

"I don't know" I yell back.

"That won't hold her for long. We have to find a plan. We disrupted her, when she breaks out of that ice we are all dead" the old man says. How in heaven's name will she break out of there.
