Chapter 8 IMMENSE POWER OUTBURST

Commander Augusta and her men, including the witch doctors rushed down the hill after hearing the sound of the alarm from the village.

"The war is coming! The war is coming!" was all I kept on chanting holding and scrunching Amelia's arm tightly, her screams fueled me even more as I had totally lost control of myself. I hated myself for not being in control.

My eyes kept shining bright, almost as the sun, anyone staring into it for long could be turned into a pillar of stone within few seconds. I could feel the power eating me up from the inside and burning every fiber of my flesh. There was no single loophole to come out of this and I was hurting Alicia with my grip, tears streaked down my eyes.

'I'm no monster let this god-forsaken thing leave me alone' was all I could think about.

The commander arrived, the crowd paving way for her and the witch doctors to pass through. Those who those who had already turned into a pillar of stone didn't have their eyes covered except for those who hid their eyes from my blazing eyes. The commander was purely bewildered by the great immense power that I wielded, I was more bewildered at myself, carrying such enormous power.

"Santos, alkana, jutusu," one of the witch doctor said, casting a spell that'll shield them from the blinding light coming from my eyes.

A woman who are believe is in her late forties, who I believe is Alicia's mother rushed and knelt down beside her.

"Oh! Alicia my poor child what did I tell you about using your magic you never listen" Her mother said.

"I'm sorry mama I just wanted to help" Alicia said sobbing and crying.

"It wasn't her fault ma'am I called her to come and check on the lord I'm sorry ma" Pete apologized.

"What did I tell you Pete that if anything happens you call to me first you're not fit to be a soldier" the commander said angrily about to slap Pete before Alicia's mother refrained the commanders arm standing up from the ground.

"We have to do something, now is not the time to start showing violence to your sub-ordinate who lacks training, this is my daughter's life in the balance here" she said angrily with a sense of remorse in her intonation seeing the state of Alicia's arm that will probably remain fractured for a month and probably even more than a month.

Commander understanding her Alicia's fury calmed down immediately.

"What do we do now?" the commander asked.

"We can't force Alicia's arm out of his grip otherwise we lose her arm we need to take them inside just the way they are, Lord Lionel has connected a bond with Alicia and we can't break it...........it's okay honey I'll be with you right here, but I'll will need you to do something for me so we can break free from his grip" Her mother said trying to calm her daughter.

I was very active, seeing and hearing everything but I wasn't in control and it hurt me so much that I wasn't in control.

"I'm scared mama, I only just wanted to help" Alicia said sobbing.

Oh poor thing! You didn't deserve any of this, I'm truly sorry.

"I know baby pie, but I'll have to make you enter into lord Lionel's mind, you wanted to help well now is the best moment to do so. Lord Lionel is trapped in his mind he can't get out and only you can help him get out please Alicia I know you're scared" She said sadly wiping the tears from her daughter's eyes.

"Mama no!!!.............." Alicia screamed out stretching out her other arm to her mama.

"Take them inside my cabin, lord Lionel will need a great amount of energy, he can tap from the house." she said

They took me and the Alicia who wouldn't stop crying, my subconscious was active and I could feel everything but, I was trapped in my mind and I couldn't escape from it. Grabbing Alicia arm was the only thing that made me not to lose control and explode.

We were finally in the cabin, the aura here was different and strange.

"Alicia I will need you to focus, lord Lionel has somewhat entered into coma and he's trapped in his mind scared and alone in the darkest part of him which of course is haunting him, you'll have to tap into him and help him" her mother said, her voice filled with strength and a tinge of fear.

"Mom don't make me do this, please I beg of you!!" Alicia pleaded, probably scared to the bone.

"He's tapped into you, if not attended to on time he'll drain you of every last fiber of your core source and the only way to be free is for you to tap into him too and free him of this madness at once........."

"I've believed in you ever since you were little I knew you were strong enough, I just didn't want to believe that you're strong enough and capable of anything at all, cause you're my baby girl and I never wanted to let go of that." Her mother encouraged, her eyes clouded with tears.

"I guess after all you're no longer a baby anymore, I'll need you to focus Alicia, focus and I'll guide through it all" She said wiping the tear drops on her face with the back of her hand.

"Okay mama, what shall I do" Alicia said sniffling and getting courage after hearing her mom's confession.

"Everyone step back give her some space" She said shoving everyone away.

"The war is coming" I screamed louder with my grip becoming tighter and Alicia shrieked in pain and tears.

"Argggh," Alicia screamed loudly.

This was a tug of war between my mind, spirit, soul and body, in most case scenarios most people don't easily come out from.

Alicia's mom was sniffling 'I need to be her strength, my ancestors guide me and lead my daughter on' Amelia thought and prayed within herself.

Somehow I could read Amelia's mind, Alicia's mother's mind.

"Close your eyes Alicia, and feel every fiber within, come on now Alicia, you both need yourselves, he's created a connection to you, because you're the only path that can lead him back to life, to free him of the coma, focus Alicia and channel it." Amelia said encouraging Alicia.

Alicia nodded in response sniffling, closing her eyes and feeling every fiber of her mind, soul, spirit, and body even though it was in great pain.

"I feel it mama what must I do?" Alicia asked.

"You'll see a well in the center of your mind, soul, spirit and body I'll need you to jump into it" Amelia said with her thumb on Alicia forehead.

"But mama the well has no end it's too deep" Alicia said opening her eyes still sniffling.

"Alicia you don't have much time, you have to jump into the well and you have to do it now, focus baby please "Amelia pleaded.

"But I'm scared," she said.

"I'm right here with you, I promise," her mother said, wearing a smile on her face.

Somehow I could feel Alicia's inner being, she was beginning to create a connection with me.

Alicia closed her eyes tight and focused, channeling her power and coming to the well that's in the center of her mind, soul, spirit and body. Her mind, soul and body were like balls of matter suspended in the air. She jumped into the well and she was suspended in the midst of the well as though gravity was holding her up in a sedentary position and her legs crossed above themselves and her hands clasped together and she glowed and shone like the sun.

In the room alicia had finally connected to me successfully I could feel her, all of her, all of her memories I could see clearly, her connection silenced me from speaking the prophecy 'THE WAR IS COMING'. At least that's a sign that all this will be over soon.

We both shone bright rising up from the bed suspended in the air in the physical, the connection had created an even greater power source we began chanting in an unknown language, the ancient language and it was as though we were made for each other like she was a missing piece or link of me.

"What! That's our mother tongue of the ancients they are speaking" Amelia said, watching us in awe.

The commander looked at her confused, wondering what she meant.

"Praise be to the gods and the ancient ones" Amelia said.

We shone even brighter as though the sun was on the earth everyone had to kneel down closing their eyes, the immense light and energy it radiated began releasing streaks of lightning.....

"Everyone out!!!!!!!! Now! If you don't want to be toast" Amelia shouted.

The commander and all who were in the room ran out of the cabin fast and resting flat on the ground telling the other villagers who weren't stone to lay flat on the ground.
