"I already submitted the documents to Mr. Kristoff's office." I say over the phone as I get down from my car. "Yes, thank you Mark see you at the office." I say before ending the call. I now work most days from home , I only turn up at the office when required to, but right now I'm at Michelle's school. I was home working on a real estate project when I got a call from the school saying Michelle got in trouble, so I have to show up. I was able to drop off Mickey at my mom's before rushing to Michelle's school.
On getting to the head mistress office I saw Michelle, Sebastian and two kids seated outside the office, the other kids looked bad wounded. I squatted and quickly examined Michelle and Sebastian's body too see if any of them were hurt. I Saw some scratches but it wasn't bad, they would dry up in days but those kids looked like it would take weeks. "What happened?" I asked, "They were saying mean things to and pushed me so Seb helped me but they started hitting Seb and so I helped Seb hit them back." Michelle explains in her own way. "It's okay sweetie." I say patting her tiny hand I also take Sebastian's hand in mine and patted it. "Let this dad take care of everything, okay?" I say softly before pulling them in for a hug.
I marched into the office to see the head mistress and two women inside. "Mr. Ezra." She speaks the second she sees me and releases a sigh of relief. "Thank you so my for coming." She adds, " So this is the father to those rotten kids?" One of the lady speaks up glaring at me. "No just the girl." The head mistress corrects, I scoff in disbelief. "Ms. Cole , first of all in standing here as both Sebastian and Michelle's guardian, and secondly Mrs. ginger my kids aren't rotten, they only protected themselves from bullies like your kids." I say defensively, the blonde bimbo stands up furiously and points at me. " You.. did you just say bullies? Our kids would never hurt a fly." She yells. "Oh please don't give me that crap. I raised my Kids to high standard, I thought them to stand up for themselves and others so if they raised their tiny precious hands on someone it's because they had to protect themselves or someone." I tell them proudly, "Those children of yours are monsters , did you see what they did to our children. I'll tell you what, you aren't raising heroes you are raising bloody criminals!" The ginger hair lady yells out glaring at me. " You say what now?" I asked sassily staring the bitch down. "Ms. Cole I want them expelled." The gloating bimbo demands, "And who are you to order her to expel my children?" I asked barely restraining myself. "That's not possible ma'am." Ms. Cole says panicking as she tries to explain and calm the women down the blonde bimbo slams the table angrily.
"Do you know I can get you fired? Those brats out there hurt our angels, so who are you to tell me you can't do as I have demanded?" The blondie rants glaring at the head mistress. "That's right those things out there can't stay here, this is a prestigious school you can't accept demons here!" Ginger wench yells, the second those words fell from her mouth I made my move to strangle the wench when I felt some one grab my arm stopping me from moving towards her. I turned back to see it was Sebastian's dad who held me back. He leans down, "Calm down, I know you're pissed but let me handle this." He whispers softly into my ear as he lightly pats down my back, my body responded to his words and touch so fast that it left me in shock. I looked into his assuring light brown eyes and complied. He steps in front of me not letting go of my hand, "Ms. Cole good day." He says, I noticed she was now standing at his presence while the two bimbos had gone silent cowering at the side. They all looked like they could shit on themselves.
"M.. Mr. Atticus ... I ..." The head mistress stutters as she sweats profusely, Atticus? "Calm down ma'am." He says calmly then turns to face the bimbos with a death glare. "My Children demons? Criminals?" He questioned in a dangerously low tone that sent chills down my spine. "N.. No.... Mr. Atticus we... we never knew they were your children." The blonde bimbo stutters sweating all over, the ginger just shrunk behind blondie in fear. "Mrs. Stone just because you didn't know they were mine that doesn't mine you could say things like that to anyone. My partner was so patient with you two you know but the difference between I and my partner is I have no patience and I'm not kind like him neither am I quick to forgiving." He states clearly, he sounded very mean so unlike what I saw at the ice cream shop a week ago. "Ms. Cole those kids need to stop coming here, I won't jeopardize the safety and well being of my precious children are we clear?" He asked firmly. "Yes Mr. Atticus." She replies nodding furiously. "Please.. s ..sir......" Before the bimbos could finish forming her words he lightly tugs me out of the office, I looked to where the kids were only find that they weren't there, only those bimbos kids. "Where are they?" I asked slightly worried, "The guards are outside with them." He replies as we walk hand in hand to exist the building. An Atticus again? Humor me life, I barely survived the first one now there's another one here. He halts once we were outside by the entrance, I slowly pulled my hand out of his hold and took a step away from him. I stared straight into his eyes confused as to why he called me partner in there, why I didn't recognize him, and why the bloody flip I miss holding his hand right now? "Thank you for standing in as Sebastian's parent in there." He says then examines my face I look away because I couldn't stand his gaze, so I simply nodded in reply. "Thank you too. For handling everything." I replied dryly, honestly I couldn't believe I was standing next to an Atticus, this aristocrats family member ruined my life, a family I worked so hard to build. I know I may be seeming cold towards him right now but I also didn't know I had lingering resentment, I just can't help the way I feel right now. " Mr. Ezra?" he calls then snaps his finger to get my attention, that also snapped me out of my train of thoughts, "Mr. Atticus thanks a lot for today but can we never meet again?" I blankly tell him, he stares at me in shock this time around.
