The school has close for the day and Angelina walked over to the bus stop to get a bus that will convey her back home.

A car stopped in front of her and she didn't bother to look at who it is.

"Hop in". Jack said but Angelina ignored him.

"I am talking to you".

"I am not interested in boarding your car.

I will be fine". She muttered.

"You are too proud and arrogant. Anyways, let's move ". Jack said and inform his chaffeur while his two friends giggled at the back of the car.

Angelina looked away and wait patiently for the bus to arrive.

After some minutes,

A bus stopped and everyone walked into the bus.

She sat down and laid her head to the back of the seat.

She look sideway and Carl is already sitted at the other side of the seat.

"Hi". He said

"Hi". She managed to respond.

"When did you get on the bus?

I didn't see you coming in".

"I saw you when you were about to enter the bus, you might not notice me". Carl tried to explain.

"It's okay, Carl.

I don't want to be too forward.

I felt as if you've been tailing me".

"No, I am not.

I guessed everyone I met in my life always have this conviction that I am after them.

Which is not true.

I am a calm person, Angelina.

And why would I tailed you.

This route is the route to my place.

I was trying to be friendly at the class back there... because you've got the calmest face in the entire classroom".

"I'm sorry if I misjudged you.

I do not interact with people that much except for my friend Olive.

I tried as much as possible to maintain my lane ".

"Then, why is that slim guy disturbing you back there in class?".

"He is the bully in our class".

"Then report him! Carl suggested.

"I've did that several times without numbers but his parents has got a power over the school Administration.

Students like us dop- not have a say.

We will just sit down there or stay in one place and keep quiet.

That's how the situation in my school works".

"That's too bad.

"Do you have a personal friend too in your life before coming to my school? Angelina asked.

"I have one friend and his name is Andrew.

He is my closest friend but unfortunately for me, he is out of the states for now.

It is part of the reason why I felt SO lonely".

"Why did you leave your former school? Angelina asked focusing her attention on Carl.

"My grades weren't good and my parents wouldn't stopped complaining about it.

My dad had to withdraw me from the school and put me in the best school in town, which is "your school".

"Do you study at home or why are you lagging behind in studies?

Carl looked into her eyes and smile.

"I guessed we are now friends now". He said changing the topic.

"If we weren't friends, I wouldn't ask you alot of questions about your life.

"Angelina, I don't want to talk about my academic life.

I just want a new change.

"The change begins with you". Angelina said

"Please, can we change the topic?

What is your hobby?

"I don't feel like sharing it with you?

"Why?

"You are hiding the deepest part of your academic life. If you did not talk about it.

How are you going to meet up with the school grade".

"You have a caring voice.

Thanks, Angelina.

I studied alot and I forgot things alot too.

Once I've studied now, in the next minutes, I've forgotten everything that I studied". Carl explained to her.

"That's not a problem.

You are not reading to understand, you are only reading for cramming.

Cramming doesn't make you understand a subject". Angelina said and the bus stopped.

She looked out and it is in her bus stop.

"We will talk tomorrow". She said and left immediately while Carl stayed behind.

Angelina got home and her mum is not back from work.

She changed into a casual wear and went over the fridge for a drink.

"I supposed to visit Olive after this drink". She muttered to herself and dropped the plastic bottle with her.

She grabbed her purse and close the door.

She headed over to Olive house.

Olive is outside the house relaxing when Angelina walked over to her side.

She hugged her from the back.

"Look, who is back here! She giggled.

"I missed you, girlfriend.

You did not have an idea of what my day looks like". Angelina said.

"I know you missed me.

"I do.

I really do.

How's your health?

You were sick when I came in the morning".

"I just felt weak and mum came to the rescue...

"Speaking of mum.

Where is she?

"Not at home.

I am the only person at home and I'm getting better too.

How's school today, Angelina?".

"Boring because of your absence and we have a new student in the class".

"A new student in grade 11".

"Yes, Dear.

You will meet him tomorrow. He seemed nice to me".

"You guys have started talking already? Olive asked.

"Yes".

"You the shy type".

"I don't know.

I felt like talking to him.

His voice is calm.

You will see what I'm talking about tomorrow.

Are you coming to school tomorrow?

"Sure, Dear.

Why wouldn't I come.

My body is now better".

"If you wouldn't come, I would have dragged you there ". Angelina said pulling her hands while she smile back to her.

Olive mother came in.

"You are here, mother. Welcome back ma'am".

"Thank you, Dear.

Your face has worn a big smile since your friend is back on her feet".

"Yes, mum.

"I admired the friendship between the both of you.

You see, I did not have an healthy relationship with my friend during my teenages.

And it's fine.

So, whenever I set my eyes on the both of you, I always admired the kind of friendship that you both shared".

"Thanks, mom". Olive said and stood up to hugged her while Angelina joined to hug her too.

"Love you both". She said and patted their back.

"Let me prepare you something to eat before leaving Angelina.

Don't say No today".she said and left for the kitchen while Angelina shake her head.

"Mum doesn't want me to leave your place whenever I am around ".

"She is just being Mom".

"I know.

I will wait for the meal before getting back to my house.

My mum might came late today ". Angelina said and stayed behind.
