Chapter 5 Aurora

AURORA'S POV

"You sneaky bi*ch!" Anna screamed.

"Shuu" i dismissed her.

"You didn't tell me you were getting all cosy with sexy Axel"

"Stop calling him that" i scowl

"Uuuuh, now you possessive over him." she smirked.

"Shut up" I threw my pillow at her.

"I can hear the wedding bell" she giggled like a kid on sugar rush.

"Anna, you are delusional. We are not even dating" i threw my hands up.

"I know for sure it won't be long"

I was about to reply her but my phone rang out.

"Hi Axel" Anna wiggled her brows suggestively, when she realized who i was speaking to.

"Hello gorgeous, how are you doing?" I'm glad he couldn't see me blushing right now.

"I'm good, and you?"

"I'm okay"

"So what's up?"

"So i wanted to ask, are you free tomorrow,? Let's have lunch."

"Umm, yeah sure. Just send me the location and time."

"Your lunch break, don't worry i will come pick you up."

"Oh" i bite my lips, to stop the stupid smile forcing it's way to my face.

"Is that okay with you?"

He sounded worried now. Maybe he thought i didn't wanna go.

"Yes totally"

"Ok see you tomorrow, goodnight Angel."

"Goodnight"

"Ahhhh!! Oh my gosh!!!!. Did he just ask you out?!!!!!" Anna screamed.

"Stop screaming, you will wake the whole house" i whisper yelled.

Immediately i finished saying that, there was a knock on my door. I gave her a look as if to say 'see what i told you?'

"Come in" i said when the second knock came.

"Hey" Anna and i said to Noah as he stepped into my room.

"Hey what's going on?" his brows furrowed.

"What?" I asked

"I was leaving the kitchen when i had screams coming for in here, are you all okay?"

"We got to loud while joking, it's nothing serious." I said

"Sorry for disturbing" Anna added.

"It's okay, by the way i didn't know you were staying over, Anna." Noah said to her curiously.

"Yes i am, home will be lonely tonight. Hope that's fine." she gave a small smile. She is staying over on a workday because her parents travelled.

"Stop that, you know you're always welcome here."

"Thanks" Anna smiled widely.

"It's late you both should go to sleep. Rora don't forget you got work in the morning" he said walking out my room.

"Yes mom" i yelled to him before he could close the door.

"Thank god it wasn't your mom" Anna whispered.

"You know right" we giggled quietly.

"So someone got a date tomorrow" she teased me.

"Stoooop" i said hiding my face in the pillow.

"Ok ok tomorrow then" she laid beside me on my bed.

"Good night Annie"

"You should wear something sexy" Anna said going through my closet.

"I'm going to work Anna, not a strip club" i said when i saw the skimpy outfit she threw at me.

"But you have a date during lunch" she looks like a frustrated 4 years old. I wanted to laugh at her.

"Anna, I'm not trying to impress anybody. People should like people for who they truly are and not what they're wearing or what they can afford."

"And by the way, I'm going to work, and after the lunch i'm still going back to work."

"Yeah you're right." She said to which I nodded.

"Wait a min." She ran into my closet and came out few minutes later.

"Wear this" she gave me a pair of high waisted pants and shirt.

"That's not bad" i shrugged, and started wearing the clothes.

"I can never go wrong when it comes to fashion. I learnt from the best." She smirked.

Yeah, she spend so much time with mom, and you can guess what they always talk about.

Anna has so much interest in fashion, than i do. She has a dream of becoming a fashion designer and having her own cloth line in future, just like mom.

I like fashion but i don't see myself taking over Mom's company after her, but she doesn't miss the opportunity to remind me that i am the heir to her company.

"Right. See you later"

"I will give you a ride to work"

"Okay"

Anna gave me a ride to work, and promised to come pick me after work.

I focused on my work for the next few hours. I heard whispers about investors being in the company for meeting but i didn't think much about it.

My phone dinged with a message and i picked it up to check. I have two messages. The first text was from 5 minutes ago, It says '𝘏𝘪 𝘈𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘭, 𝘐'𝘮 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯.' While the second text which was few seconds ago says '𝘏𝘦𝘺 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘪 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘬 𝘺𝘰u?'.

I was out of my seat in a second, like it was on fire. I held my phone tight and took my bag, i ran to the elevator.

I saw him the moment i walked into the reception. He was sitting on the waiting corner. I moved closer to him.

"Hello Axel" he looked up at me.

"Hi Angel" he stood up

"I'm so sorry i didn't see your text earlier, i just saw it." I said frantically.

"I guessed much." He smiled.

"Let's go?" I nodded.

Axel is such a gentleman he held the door up for me on our way out of the building and opened car too.

"Where are we going?" i said putting on my sit belt.

"My favorite restaurant, i hope it becomes yours too." I blushed slightly.

"So how has your day been so far?" I asked him.

"It's been exciting"

"Oh, why is that?" I asked curiously.

"Because i get to spend some time with you" he smiled. He looked at me.

Damn this man is killing me with his smile. He has the best smile, his dimples made him more adorable and sexy.

"Man stop" i blushed and he chuckled.

"My day has been pleasant so far. Nothing too stressful, just the meeting i had with your CEO." He said nonchalantly, moving his gaze from me to the road ahead of us.

"Oh you were the investor that came in for an important meeting today" I said in realization.

"Wow, i never knew you liked me so much, that you spy on me." He smirked.

"What! No that's not true" i said startled

"What? So you don't like me." He said sadly. Oh god what have i done?

"No that's not what i meant, I like you, i really do, i like you. I'm sorry, please don't be sad." I was feeling guilty for making him sad.

I paused when i heard him laughing loudly, i didn't get it at first but few seconds later i understood that he just pulled a prank on me. I hit his shoulder repeatedly.

"Ooow, you don't hit the driver, you're gonna get us killed." He chuckled.

I stopped hitting him and looked out the window, pretending to be angry.

"I was just joking, i know you like me" i ignored him.

"Angel"

"I'm sorry, i didn't mean to get you mad." I didn't respond.

"I'm sorry Angel" i can see him pouting from my side eye, he wasn't paying much attention on the road because he was staring at me.

Who would believe that the famous cold billionaire is actually a softie?

"Ok ok apology accepted, now pay attention to the road, before you get us killed" i couldn't hold back my giggles.

"You're so evil, playing me to my own game and at the same time using my words against me."

"Don't be a cry baby" i giggled and he smiled broadly.
