Chapter 5 Intezer pain

The morning sun shone in the sky with all its splendor, but the hearts of Aarav and Sia were still overshadowed by the silence and waiting of the night. Two days had passed since Aarav's interview, but no response had come so far. Their hearts would beat faster at every phone ring, but every time disappointment would come to their share.

Aarav walked restlessly in the house all day. She knew that this wait was not easy, but she never thought it would be so difficult. The hope of getting a job had now become a faint ray for him, which he was drowning in his own restlessness in trying to catch up.

"ARV, why are you getting so upset? The answer will come, have a little more patience," Sia said, comforting her. She knew how difficult this round was for Aarav, but her strength too was now slowly beginning to break.

Arav listened to her, but his face was still full of anxiety and confusion. "I think I might have said something wrong in the interview. They may have chosen someone else. I dont know what will happen now."

Sia grabbed his hand and said, "You have to trust yourself and our hard work. I know things will be right. You have always tried your best, and your efforts will not go to waste."

Arav gave a slight smile at her point, but his face was still clouded with anxiety. He knew that Sia was trying to give him courage, but inside he himself was equally breaking.

The day passed slowly. Aarav tried to keep himself busy with something, but his attention was repeatedly turned to the phone. Every minute as the clock needle was getting heavier, and every passing moment was lowering his expectations.

In the evening, Sia decides that she will take Aarav out for a walk so that his mind can lighten up a little. "Come on, we walk out for a while. Sitting here, you will become even more restless."

Aarv believes her and the two go to a nearby park. There was a light cold wind blowing, and the sun was about to set in the sky. In the park there were sounds of children's laughter and joy, but there was only silence in Aarav's heart. The two sat down on a bench, and for a while Sia rested her head on Aarav's shoulder.

"This time will also pass, Aarav," Sia said slowly. "We just need each other. Everything else will be fine."

Arav nodded at her point. He knew that Sia was right, but now fear sat in his heart-will this difficult period ever end?

It was night time. The two returned home, immersed in the same silence they had been living in for the past few days.

The next day, it was early morning. Both Aarav and Sia were sitting on the couch when the phone rang suddenly. Aarav looked at the phone in shock. It was the same number that he had been looking impatiently for the past two days.

His hands were trembling, but he picked up the phone. "Hello," there was a slight bewilderment in her voice.

"Hello, ARV?"The voice came from the other side. It was the same interviewer who interviewed Aarav.

"Yes, I'm speaking," Aarav replied, his voice was now even louder.

"We reviewed your profile and have been very impressed with your interview. We are choosing you for this post. You have to join from next week," the interviewer's voice was formalized, but this voice in Aarav's ears echoed as a ray of hope.

Aarav was not convinced of his listening for a moment. "What... Are you telling the truth?"He asked hurriedly.

"Yes, ARV. This is confirmed. You have to come to the office from next Monday. Your offer letter will be emailed to you."The interviewer finished his talk and put the phone.

Aarav put the phone down and tears poured into his eyes. The tears were of joy, of relief, of all the days of penance and hard work that she and Sia had endured together.

Sia looked at him, there were questions in his eyes. "What happened, ARV?"He asked softly.

Aarav said with a slight laugh, " Sia, we got a job!"

Sia looked him in the eyes and hugged him. His tears also began to flow, but these tears were a sign of the beginning of the end of all those sorrows and troubles.

"I told you, ARV. Our hard work will never go to waste."Sia's voice had a sense of victory.

The two held each other tightly and at that moment as if all the distances between them were over. Now they were sure that no matter how many difficulties they faced, they would endure everything together.

Aarav and Sia had now started preparing for a fresh start. Over the next few days Aarav began preparing for his new work, and Sia worked to improve the little things in the house. A new energy had come into his life again.

Monday came, and Aarav stepped into his new office. The office environment was different, and Aarav even felt a little nervous. But he was now sure that he would impress people with his work here too. He felt Sia's given strength with him and engaged in his work with full confidence.

Sia at home was also starting her day with a new hope. She knew that now her life was slowly getting on track. Aarav's hard work and his efforts were coloring, and Sia was also ready to accompany him at every step.

When Aarav returns home in the evening, Sia welcomes him with a slight smile. "How was the first day?"He asked anxiously.

"Been very good," Aarav replied. "There was a little nervousness, but now I have confidence about the work."

Sia saw in her eyes the glow that had been missing for the past few days. She felt that their journey might be a little easier now, but she knew there would be more challenges ahead.

"Arav, "Sia said slowly," no matter what happens, we are with each other. We always need one another to get out of these difficulties."

Arav, listening to her, took his hand and said, "yes, siya. Now I am sure we can face every difficulty. Our love is our strength."

Sia nodded, and the relationship between the two was even deeper at that moment. In their hearts there was no longer a place of pain, but a new ray of hope and faith.
