Chapter 2 Bond of Love or Love in Bond

The morning rays were coming in through the window of the room, but the feeling of light was missing somewhere in Aarav and Sia's life. Even after waking up all night, fatigue and pain were evident on both their faces. Aarav sat on his bed, holding a cup of tea in his hand, immersed in thought.

The dark circles under her eyes were testifying to the stress and pain that had become part of her life for the past few months.

Sia was also looking out of a single window in her room. Today, another new turn was about to come in his life-Aarav's family was going to meet Sia's maiden.

Although the meeting was formal, there was a strange fear in Sia's heart. She knew that her family would never be able to fully accept Aarav, as Aarav's financial situation did not meet their norms.

"Sia, are you ready?"ARV's voice broke his thinking. Sia turned slowly and looked at Aarav. He still had the same love in his eyes, but in the depths of anxiety he seemed to lose love.

"Yes, I'm ready," Sia replied in a slow voice. There was sadness in his voice, which did not hide from Aarav.

Aarav came up to her, held her hand, and peered lovingly into her eyes and said, "Sia, I know that this meeting will not be easy for us. But we have faith in each other, and this faith can remove us from every difficulty."

Sia gave a slight smile, which was a failed attempt to hide the fear inside her.

After a while, the two get into the car and drive to Sia's House. There was silence between the two throughout the way. Their silent eyes were talking to each other, but words could not be exchanged. Both knew that today could prove to be an important day in their lives.

Upon reaching siya's house, Aarav's heart beats faster. Sia's house was large and luxurious. Large doors, glittering walls, and expensive decorations were telling the story of the prosperity of that house. But in the midst of this glare, Aarav was realizing his poverty.

"ARV, come in," Sia said in a slow voice, as if she knew what was going on in ARV's heart.

When the two arrived at the drawing room, Sia's parents were already waiting. Sia's mother had a slight smile on her face, but her father had a seriousness on his face, as if he had already formed an opinion against Aarav.

"Hello," Aarav said in a low voice, and sat down in front of them.

Sia's mother started talking, " so Aarav, how is your job going?"

As if someone was naked. That was the question he wanted to avoid. He tried to hide the truth, but lying was not his habit.

"Gee, right now I'm looking for a new job," he told the truth, and a strange silence broke out in the room.

Sia's father said in a serious tone, " we married Sia to a man who can not take care of himself, nor his wife. Do you know how many responsibilities a husband has after marriage?"

Aarav had no answer. He knew that Sia's father's words were right, but he had no concrete solution at the moment.

Sia immediately intervened, " Papa, Aarav and I will handle everything together. We both have full faith in each other."

"Faith doesn't fill the stomach, Sia," her father replied in a strict tone.

A storm of guilt was rising in Aarav's mind. He loved Sia, but he also understood that he was unable to live up to Sia's expectations. There were many questions in his head, but the only answer was coming up again and again-is he the right person for Sia?

"I'm trying, "Aarav said softly," and soon everything will be fine."

But the confidence that he should have had in his voice was missing.

Sia's parents were visibly disappointed. This meeting had further complicated Aarav and Sia's relationship. Although they both loved each other, their families and circumstances were causing great obstacles in their way.

After the meeting was over, Aarav and Sia were returning home. On the way, siya grabbed Aarav's hand and said, "Aarav, no matter what happens, I am with you. We have to face all these problems together."

Aarav looked at her, in her eyes was truth and love. But there was still a fear in Aarav's heart. She felt that Sia was also having to endure pain because of her weaknesses.

"Sia, "Aarav said in a low voice," I know you love me very much, but maybe I am not able to give you the joys you deserve."

Sia grabbed his hand tightly and said, " happiness and sorrow go together in love, Aarav. I know that we are going through difficult times right now, but our love is stronger than these difficulties."

Aarav gave a slight smile, but he still had that insecurity in his heart.

At night, when the two reached home, Sia began preparing to cook. But Aarav's mind was elsewhere. He sat in the room, thinking about the decisions of his life. Sia's words had relieved her a little, but her own condition was not allowing her to live peacefully.

After dinner, the two went to sleep. Lying on the bed, Aarav looked at Sia, who was trying to sleep with her back to him. The light sound of his breath was heard, but Aarav could not sleep.

The same question was repeatedly raised in his heart-will he be able to give Sia the life she had promised? Or will this marriage become just a bond, in which there will be love, but also pain and despair?

---

The night was gradually getting darker, but the rain of questions in Aarav's mind was getting faster.
