Chapter 4 Episode 4

As Caleb entered the hall, the chatter and laughter gradually subsided into silence. The Alpha had arrived. All eyes turned towards him, their hopes pinned on his choice for Luna. Immaculate, who had already been presenting herself as the Luna, beamed with joy as Caleb made his way towards her. The other sons of the Luna also smiled, clearly in support of the potential match.

However, the joy quickly faded when Caleb walked past Immaculate. She shot him an annoyed look and then glanced at Maxwell, who simply shrugged in response.

The crowd hushed, waiting to see what Caleb would do. He paced around, examining each of the female omegas. It was evident that his conscience was wrestling with the decision. Choosing another omega might lead to the same fate as Gabriella, and the Luna would only bring more trouble. Instead, he returned to Immaculate, sitting beside her and marking her as the crowd erupted into cheers though he did it just to make his mother happy.

The bond between them was finally sealed, and the crowd celebrated, cheering and clapping in approval. The Luna was especially elated. Immaculate embraced Caleb tightly, brimming with happiness.

The music started, and the celebration continued with everyone dancing. It was a beautiful night, and Immaculate and Caleb joined the alphas at a single table for dinner. However, Caleb didn't linger long and abruptly left the table. then Alyssa quickly take his place.

"Congratulations! I'm thrilled for you," Alyssa exclaimed, embracing Immaculate. Their moment was interrupted by one of the Alphas.

"Excuse me! You shouldn't be sitting there," one of the alphas said to Alyssa.

"Let her be!" Immaculate snapped at the alpha, her voice laced with authority, causing the others to exchange surprised glances.

"If you wish to speak with her, take it outside..." Alpha Starling began, but Immaculate cut him off.

"Excuse me! I am now the Luna, and I have the authority to give orders! This is my territory!" she retorted, her anger resonating through her words, drawing the attention of everyone in the hall. It was a stunning sight to witness her challenging one of the most powerful alphas. Even Alyssa was shocked as hell.

"I can't take this embarrassment!" Alpha Starling declared before storming out but Immaculate still don't care.

"Don't mind him darling" Immaculate said to Alyssa as she was overjoyed, feeling like the happiest person on earth. It was a dream come true, and she now saw herself as the second-in-command after Caleb, a position she longed for.

However, she didn't even bother to check on Caleb, who had abruptly left and not yet returned. Instead, she continued to enjoy the festivities, dining and conversing with Caleb's mother and the rest of the family.

NEW DAY.

MOUNT ZION TERRITORY.

The Mount Zion territory housed another werewolf pack, situated in a hilly town.

The mountains were teeming with vegetation and were surrounded by flowing rivers.

Mount Zion was, without a doubt, the richest werewolf pack in history, commanding the respect of all other wolf packs. The name was widely recognized, and the sight of their compound conveyed their immense wealth. It was evident that they had invested millions in constructing their pack territory, seamlessly incorporating the mountains into the architecture.

Inside one of the rooms of this pack, Gabriella lay asleep on a well-furnished white bed.

She slowly woke up and yawned, still dressed in her nightclothes.

She entered the bathroom and brushed her teeth and as well washed her oral face.

"Lucy!" she called out as she stepped out of the bathroom, prompting Lucy, one of the omega servants in the pack, to rush into the room.

"Yes, Alpha...?" Lucy responded.

"Please check on Ivar; he must be awake by now," Gabriella ordered.

The little boy was now a year and six months old and growing rapidly, he's Gabriella's son.

"I have already done that. I was feeding him before you called, Alpha," Lucy responded, to which Gabriella nodded in acknowledgment.

"Oh, thank you very much, Lucy. I've been so tired these days. I was even wondering where I would get the strength to do it all, but I'm glad you helped out. Please, help me prepare some warm water. I want to take a bath," Gabriella said. As Lucy turned to walk away, Gabriella interrupted her.

"I hope I'm not upsetting you. I know I'm asking for a lot. Please," Gabriella said, to which Lucy smiled and shook her head.

"No, you are the Alpha. I don't know if you do remember that, but you are actually very kind. I've seen and witnessed other Alphas, and they don't even care if their Omegas are tired or not. They just give orders," Lucy said, as Gabriella smiled at her.

If only Lucy knew what Gabriella had gone through as an ordinary Omega like them, she would understand that it truly meant a lot to Gabriella for her to be kind to them.

"Thank you for being the best Alpha," Lucy said, and Gabriella nodded.

"Come on, Lucy. It's fine. It's nothing, actually. Please get the water ready for me, and then you can have your meal too. Make sure the others are fed as well," she ordered, and Lucy bowed her head slightly.

"Thanks, Alpha. I will do as you said," she replied before leaving.

Gabriella had never known that life could be as beautiful as this until she found herself in this position all of a sudden. She couldn't tell how it had magically happened, but that night, after being rescued by Alpha Rambo, her story changed forever for the better.

Alpha Rambo was the former alpha of the pack and also the werewolf who had rescued her that night. Alpha Rambo had a twin brother, Rainbow, who was contesting for the alpha title, leading to the battle they had the night they met Gabriella.

Gabriella was also their mate! She had been greatly blessed by the moon goddess, but she had lived in pain all these years because she didn't know her true nature.

So the war between these brothers was all because of Gabriella.

Anyone who finds her and also convince her by making her fall in love with him would become the next alpha which makes it a difficult competition, but Rainbow did not accept this option presented by the Luna, his mother. He hoped he would automatically become the next Alpha immediately after their father's demise because he had escaped the womb before Rambo.

However, the Luna stood her ground, which caused Rainbow to become angrily and suddenly gone wild and beastly overnight. He ended up killing the Luna, and it was while Rambo killed him that night he attacked Gabriella without regret.

Rainbow had aimed to kill Gabriella as well, so that Rambo's right to become the alpha would be forever terminated.

After Rambo brought Gabriella to the pack that night, he left the next morning to look for a cure for the injury Rainbow had inflicted on his neck, as it appeared that Rainbow had used wolfsbane on him.

However, it had been 1 year going on 2 years now, and he had not returned, leading to Gabriella becoming the Alpha.

"Alpha, the warm water is ready," Lucy announced as she knocked on the door.

"Alright, thanks. Go look after Ivar, please," Gabriella replied before quickly entering the bathroom to take her bath after bath She then joined her son, Ivar, in the dining room.

"mmy!!" Ivar called out with is little tiny voice, he's still learning to talk thoug.

"My boy! Mommy is here now!" Gabriella said, embracing him.

"He always seems so happy when he sees you," Lucy observed, to which Gabriella smiled before taking Ivar from her.

"Thank you, Lucy. You've done well. Go rest or look after other things and make sure everything is in order. Have you eaten?" Gabriella inquired, and Lucy nodded.

"I know, you foodie!" Gabriella chuckled as they both laughed. Lucy then left the dining room, leaving Gabriella to eat her meal and enjoy time with her son.

Ivar was a very cute little boy with attractive blue eyes, a cute face like his mother's, and the same skin color.

However, their moment was interrupted by Lucy. "Excuse me, Alpha," Lucy's voice sounded as she stepped back into the dining room after a few minutes. "If I'm not disturbing you, or... maybe I should wait until you're done eating," she said and turned to walk away.

"Wait! What's that in your hand? What's the paper?" Gabriella asked, looking at the envelope Lucy was holding.

"I haven't had a chance to read it yet, but it's a letter from an old friend of the pack. It was delivered to us just now," Lucy explained as she stepped closer.

"Old friend? Who?" Gabriella inquired.

"It's from the Alpha of the Dark Moon Pack, Alpha Caleb," Lucy announced, and Gabriella gazed at her in shock, the name sounding heavy in her ears.
