Chapter 5 MEETING DARK WILL STAR

"A witch?" Lira felt a bomb explode in her head. She was a wolf and had no dealings with witches, so how can...That vampire might not be a pure vampire! Lira thought of Will, her cheap husband and felt like meeting him and beating him up for causing her so much trouble. Little did Lira know that her wish was about to happen sooner than she expected.

"Let's go" Lira took her kids as they went to a place.

"Mom, where are we going? This is not the way home." Max asked as he looked at the shop in front of them.

"We are going to see a friend of mine, and he can help the three of you at least delay that bloodline awakening for some years."

"Is that friend a man?" Mark asked aggressively. Since he was two, men had been looking for a way to get to his mom, which he found annoying.

"Yeah, is he?" Max also asked, his eyes gradually turning cold.

"Yes, he is a really attractive man, "Lira, who had no idea what was going on in the kids heard, replied truthfully. Max and Mark immediately looked at each other, their eyes conveying their desire to wreck the interaction between the man and Lira.

"No smelly man is going to take our mother away from us", Mark snorted coldly.

"I agree; Mom is way too perfect for all of them; we are enough for her", Max chipped in with a whisper.

"Well, if Mom loves him, shouldn't we support her?" Mera asked her two brothers, but all she got was a glare.

"Mera, don't you listen to the news? Have you yet to hear the stories about remarriage? What if Mom forgets us after she marries again?

Do you want Mom to have another family and forget us?" Mark whispered to Mera, who shook her head in disapproval.

"No, I don't want that?"

"What are you guys talking about?" Lira asked, looking at the three children so slow to follow her into the building.

"Nothing, we are coming", Mark said as he held his siblings, and they all ran to meet Lira.

"To ruin that man", Max muttered.

"Charles, it's been a long time", Lira shakes Charles, who hugged her instead.

As Lira said earlier, Charles was very attractive, but weirdly, he had a very slender build, a woman-like stature and was dressed in white like an angel. His eyes had a very flirtatious appeal to them, and his body seemed to sway like a leaf with each movement he made. His beautiful jade face and long white hair made him look like an angel, not a human, very unreal.

Mark, Max and Mera immediately looked at each other with a serious expression. "This man, Charles, is on a different level from the other men; we can't let him seduce Mom with his charm," Max commented. As if thinking the same thing, the three kids immediately pushed Charles away from their Mom and came between them.

"Oh, oh, are they your children?" Charles looked at the three beautiful kids who pushed him away with a smile, but the smile was quite cold. "Yes, I came because of them; they have a problem," Lira said, sitting down on a couch.

"Uhh! Do they know they are not human?" Charles sat in his chair and looked at the three children. He felt funny because the three kids reminded him of someone he knew, someone very annoying.

"Kids, here's something I would like to tell you all: We are actually... not humans," Lira said softly as she prepared herself for the outbursts and disbelief.

"Hmm," Lira frowned after two minutes of silence. She opened her eyes and saw her kids still looking at her normally, evidently not surprised by her revelation. "You guys aren't surprised by the information?"

"Mom, I just told you a very tall wolf keeps chasing me in my dreams. Max told you a bunch of demonic stuff chased him, and Mera told you foreign languages pop into her brain occasionally. That really should have told you we know something is wrong with us," Mark said, looking straight into Lira's eyes.

"Exactly, Mom, our strength is beyond human. I cut myself once, and it healed Instantly; Mera can sense you from afar each time you come to school, and Mark pinched through a wall in his physical education; those aren't human behaviours, you know?" Max looked at Lira with a knowing expression.

"Uhh! So you guys knew all along, then? "Lira blushed furiously in embarrassment. "Well, whatever is happening to the three of you lately is called bloodline awakening; Charles here will help stop it."

"Yeah, right" Charles smiled at the three kids, but they ignored him again.

"Well, I just designed three watches; they can slow awakening. I originally planned to give them to someone, but he is not here yet." Charles took out three red threads from a black, watery substance.

"Aunt, don't you know what a watch is?" Max mocked Charles, who brought out a red thread and called it a watch.

Charles almost fell when he heard Max calling him an aunt. Does this bast*d think I am a woman? "If it weren't for your Mom, I would have ripped you to shreds", Charles murmured as he looked into Max's eyes, seriously noticing some clues.

"You are just like him; even he said that too." Charles looked at Max seriously, his eyes gradually widening as he gave Lira a weird glance.

"Are you the one?" Charles asked Lira weirdly, but Lira didn't understand a thing.

"What one?" Lira responded suspiciously. She felt Charles knew something.

"Nothing, let me get the watches I will bind the threads to" Charles stepped out of the room very quickly like a gust of wind.

"Hmm, showoff" The three kids were not impressed by the skill as they felt Charles did that to frizz up Lira.

After hours, Lira worried about Charles and left to find him.

"Charles, are you there?" Lira entered the room and saw a broad guy looking out the window.

"Charles," Lira called again with uncertainty in her voice. The person's back didn't look like Charles's. Charles was shorter and loved dressing in colorful clothes, but the person wore black clothes and had a sad feeling he gave out.

"Hmm, silly wolf, it's been a long time." A magnetic, deep voice rang out as a face that Lira could never forget appeared in her field of vision.

"Vampire" Lira called.

"No, It's Will Dark Star" Will winked at Lira as he looked at her lovingly.
