Chapter 4 A WITCH

"Lira," the teacher called out as she ran to meet Lira, who was almost turning back with her kids to start going home.

Lira was different from five years ago when she had just come into the human world, worn and weak. She became more mature and beautiful, her body becoming more luscious and soft and exuding a wonderful fragrance of wisterias.

Lira, who took Mera's bag, looked up and smiled at Sara, "Teacher, what's wrong?"

"Lira, I am not saying your kids have a problem, but they are not fitting in with the rest of the class. They are mean to the other children, mock the other children, and don't play with the other kids," Sara said.

"Is this true?" Lira looked at her triplets, who immediately lowered their heads and began counting the sand grains on the soil.

Lira rolled her eyes at their antics and immediately turned to Sara to apologize. "Teacher, I will talk with the three of them; it won't happen again."

"That's okay. It would be very nice if they could behave their age and stop acting like three adults," Sara said happily, her heart finally settling down.

She was scared Lira wouldn't accept what she said and would try to accuse her of telling lies about kids. After all, no parents wanted to hear their kids make trouble at school.

Sara, who was leaving, remembered something and turned to tell Lira, "Mrs. Lira, there is one more thing. I wasn't there because I am not the physical education teacher, but their teacher said something about Mark being a monster, that Mark's eyes turned red during one of their strength tests."

"What!" Lira's face changed as she took a look at Mark. Is his awakening about to start?

"Okay, I see. I will speak to this teacher when I have time to clarify the misunderstanding," Lira nodded at Sara.

"Mom, we can explain what she just said." The three children opened their mouths the moment Sara disappeared from view.

"Shut it, I already know what happened. Mark, does your body feel warm during night times?" Lira looks at Mark, worry evident on her face.

"Yeah, during the night, I dream about an animal, a very tall wolf that keeps chasing me. I outrun it each time, but it seems to catch up to me lately," Mark said with his usual stoic face.

Lira's face was filled with obvious worry and some confusion: "Oh no, it is the ancestral bloodline power, the moment that wolf causes up to you, that when you get your awakening, the bigger the wolf, the more pure the bloodline is. Mine was fifty meters tall, and I was called the nest talent, but what the hell does Mark Mark by very tall? Is his wolf above fifty meters?"

"Mark, how tall do you mean by very tall?"

"I can explain it, but that wolf was very tall; I couldn't even see the head of the wolf because the skies covered it all up, and the only thing I could see was the strong silver hoofs chasing after me."

"If you couldn't see it, how did you know it was a wolf?"

"I just felt it was a wolf. I didn't even think of anything apart from a wolf, and I got a lot of familiar feelings from the big wolf like it's supposed to catch me; one day, I might not even run and see if..."

"No, run, run every time " Lira cuts in and covers Mark's mouth.

If he got his awakening, they would have to go back to the fantasy world, and Lira was not strong enough to protect Mark from the dangers of that world, so Mark needed to resist the temptation to awaken.

"I also have dreams," Max said enviously as he pushed Mark and came to Lira.

His eyes were full of Mirth as he looked at Mark with a smug expression.

Mark ignored Max, his younger brother, who always liked competing with him for everything. He wasn't worried because his younger brother would always stand by him when he needed him.

Lira didn't think much of the tension in the air, as she knew that whatever was happening resulted in Mark, a potential wolf, not getting along with Max, a highly potential vampire. Their blood rejected each other, so they have always fought about a single thing since birth.

"What is it, Max?"

"Mom, I also have a dream like Mark, but mine is even cooler." Max winked at Mark when he said cooler, but Mark ignored him again.

"Humph! I see a man dressed in black, his black hair as black as night but his red eyes like the eyes of a devil; he was holding a book, and the book opened up to the middle page, drawing me closer to the book, whispering in my ears to drop my blood on the book."

"Did you do it?"

"No, I didn't, but when I refused, I got chased by this humongous thing, each one as tall as the skies; you should see them; they are so tall, far taller than that silly wolf in Mark's dream." Max immediately said aloud, looking at Mark with an expression of 'I won again, which means I am way cooler than you.'

"You moron, and what are you calling a silly wolf?" Lira knocked Max's head, making Max tearful as Mark laughed at him.

"I know nothing about vampires, so how would I explain the situation? I need to see Charles; he might have a solution."

"Baby, what about you?" Lira remembered her baby daughter Mera and faced her; she was very curious about Mera's bloodline. Mera showed no vampire or werewolf traits so that she couldn't guess.

"I feel everyone's emotions. I feel like I can do anything, and I feel so weird; some weird languages keep popping up in my head occasionally," Mera said, a bit scared; she ran to hug her Mom.

"Mera, are you crazy? I'm so sorry. How could you become crazy? Idiot?" a giant hand slapped Max, who was talking nonsense.

"Why did you hit me?" Max glared at Mark, who glared back at him.

"Mera, you are not crazy; there is no need to be scared." Lira hugged her beautiful doll daughter, but her heart was confused.

"A witch, how come?"
