Six feet two inches, a personality glorified in all ways. The men looked debonair in his attire; his conduct screamed elegance. His speech reflected high standards and a kind of authority. As Flora entered, her eyes noticed everything while still widened in deep shock. She was informed that Mr. Marshall Godfrey's younger brother would be working as a lead, and with him the meeting was fixed as mentioned.
"Please, come in!" Marshall's voice came out soft yet strong.
Flora collected her senses and looked down to enter.
"Good morning, sir!" Flora greeted both of them.
And in a few seconds, Felix and Marshall commenced discussing the storyline and character with each other and included Flora at times.
"There needs to be rehearsal finished prior to the filming date, Flora! That's our priority!" Felix stated, while "our" included that even Marshall wished the same.
"I agree, sir!" Flora vocalized with a kind of calmness in her voice.
"And one more thing for you to note, Flora. Our male lead has changed as Mr. Victor Godfrey has some personal reasons to back out from the film, and so Mr. Marshall will be continuing as our main male lead."
With due respect and obligatorily, Marshall forwarded his hand for a handclasp. With nervousness and palpitations showering in her, she extended her hand. They shook each other's hands, and Marshall was able to feel Flora's nervousness.
All of a sudden, Felix's phone rang, and he excused himself.
Now the room was completely filled with silence, and Flora could possibly only feel awkwardness because of her nervousness. She was looking down out of agitation.
"Miss. Caddel?" Marshall called out.
"Sir!" She responded and immediately looked up. Her face filled with uncertainty.
"It's just Marshall for you, Miss. Caddel!" He tried easing her with a pleasant smile.
"Thank you, sir!" Flora spoke with gratitude.
Marshall's left eyebrow raised, yet he had a pleasant smile which made Flora think a little, and she immediately realized that she had to again call him sir.
"Oh! Sorry!" She let out and smiled heartily.
"How many projects have you done before, Miss. Caddel?" He asked, looking eager. He had casually placed both his hands on the table, and his expression conveyed that he was all ears for her.
"Priorly it was some advertisement films, and now it's my debut movie," she explained.
Before they could take the conversation ahead, Felix entered and sat back.
They again discussed for a while, and then they were set to leave. All three stood to leave, and Felix did it first. By the time Flora could leave, Marshall stopped her.
"Miss. Caddel?" He called.
She turned.
"This." He said and extended a note.
Flora was confused.
What's it?
