Chapter 7 Murderers and Betrayals

Alexa sighed deeply as she kept on looking at Allen who was still fast asleep,

" it was as if you knew big bro, you warned me but I didn't listen, now see where I ended up *SIGH*," Alexa sighed and it seemed to have disturbed Allen and he woke up from his sleep, he slowly rested his head backward on the chair, he seemed not to have noticed that Alexa had woken up, Alexa peered her eyes into her Allen, she was confused, he looked a lot younger than the last time she saw him, he looked like when he was still in college, suddenly Allen eyes flew open and his gave met Alexa's, then she couldn't hold it anymore, hot tears fell down her face and she stressed her hand to get a hug from him and he drew closer to her, although he had a confused look on his face,

"bro, am so sorry for not taking your advice and ending up making a fool of myself, you were right and I should have obeyed you not insult you, am so sorry for everything, can you ever forgive me, I promise to always take your advice from now on, I'm really sorry can you ever forgive me? " Alexa said with tears falling from her eyes, but Allen had a really confused look plastered on his face and he looked at Alexa worriedly,

" whoa... whoa, I know I have always warned you not to run on the stairs at school, but you don't have to apologize like this, you were in an hurry and ran down the stairs, it's fine, you don't have to act all... weird, because of it and moreover the injuries aren't that serious, you may get healed in two weeks or so," Allen said, but Alexa just looked at him in confusion, she thought that Allen was just feigning ignorance, because he didn't want her to feel bad or he was still offended and didn't want to speak to her about Edward or he was making up excuses, so he wouldn't have to tell her 'I told you'. She almost began shedding tears again on how her brother treated her and loved her, she just couldn't see it because of her so called love for Edward, thinking about this made Alexa very sad and she laid back on her bed, then suddenly a female doctor walked in, Alexa looked up at her and she instantly recognized her, she was the one that attended to her when she had fell from stairs in school, the doctor looked a lot younger and that day was a day she couldn't ever forget because, it was the day her brother had asked her about her feeling for Edward and she blabbered flattering words about Edward, like someone who was asked why she liked her favorite K-POP star, she could never forget that day it was the day she had the opportunity to save herself from all the fake love but didn't. Alexa sighed heavily as she watched the nurse run a check up on her, she couldn't help remember her excess love for the profession, but it was too late, Alexa eyes looked round the room and something caught her attention, she squinted her eyes not sure if she was seeing clearly, it was the freaking calendar, it had the date; 2nd of February 2020. Alexa was so confused on how a big and expensive hospital would be using a calendar of fours ago, she just sneered and looked away from it, she then remembered,

'The poison! How can I be alive after a full bottle of poison, an highly dangerous one for that matter, am I in Heaven or is my life flashing before my eyes, but all this feels, so real, or could it I went back in time, No! That's not possible, that only happens in novels and some movies, oh God why did my brain even bring that into the picture, and I have to figure out what is happen and fast, before I blab out nonsense,' Alexa thought frantically and then turned to look at her brother who was busy with his phone, she nudged at him and he looked at her with a questioning gaze,

"Bro, please do you know what happened to me?" Alexa asked,

"Oh, I got a call from your Chemistry teacher, saying you had tripped, while running down the stairs and became unconscious, I happened to be coming back from dad's company and passed that route, so I rushed there and here we are," Allen said, with his full attention on the phone, this made Alexa more confused and her head spanned uncontrollably, she was so confused and scared it seemed she had really gone back in time. And then it dawned on her, the same nurse who looked exactly as she used to look when treated her, and her brother looking like how he used to look in college, even his goatee beard was gone, she thought he had shaved it but his face looked so young that you wouldn't image a beard was once there and even worse her brother was being absentminded about Edward and also about his advice and all the things that he had told her before she left the house, but Alexa couldn't help but think of a way on what she was thinking being possible , she was supposed to be death but now surprisingly returned to the past, she wasn't a type to believe in things like this, so she was very confused, then she remembered Edward, she sighed, if she had really returned to the past, she would make sure no mistake repeat itself and she would take a really good revenge on her murderers and betrayals.
