Chapter 6 Allen

"BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*" The heart machine sounded in the quiet room, Alexa opened her eyes slowly, letting it adjust to the lighting of the bright room, she had a seriously throbbing headache and her knee ached as hell, she then began to look round the room and then she realized that she was in a room in the hospital, how could she not notice the strong smell of antiseptic, her eyes wondered again and she saw Allen, sleeping on one of the chair beside her bed with his head on her bed, then all the memories of Ella, Edward, Cassandra and not to forget Smith, rushed into her head and she almost st

arted shedding tears, but she held it, she couldn't help to recall the argument that she had with him before she left the house to visit Edward as a surprise,

* FLASHBACK BEGINS* ( FEW MINUTES BEFORE ALEXA ARRIVES AT EDWARD'S HOUSE)

" Alexa where the hell are you going with that car, I thought it was a gift you prepared for mom's birthday," Allen said as he walked out of the mansion and looked at Alexa in surprise, she was inside the car and was making the engine roar loudly, it clearly looked like she was preparing to go out, he was surprised cause he had thought that the car was a gift for their mom for her birthday, cause her mom's birthday was just next week and he was the one that helped her buy the car and when he asked who the owner was, she said it was a gift for someone special and was a surprise, so he shouldn't tell anyone, but he didn't stay true to his word and told his wife, who was absolutely sure it was for Edward, he didn't believe her and made them have a bet on it, and now clearly it looked like his wife had won, cause Alexa was driving the brand new car out of the house, so clearly it wasn't for their mom,

" did I tell you anything like that or you just assumed it yourself," Alexa said sharply, but Alexander over looked it,

"it doesn't matter all I want to know is who did you buy this 15 million dollars car for,"

"Well, it's for Edward, we missed valentine and I couldn't give him any gift, so I got this for him," Alexa said excitedly,

"I thought it was for mom,"

"Oh you thought wrong, mom's gift is a pearl necklace, but this, this car is for Edward and am a hundred percent sure that he would love it, right ?"

"Alexa are you serious you are giving you mom only a pearl necklace, while you are giving that jerk a car? I just wonder, how you haven't realize it yet that Edward doesn't love you, he only care about the lavish gift that you throw on him," Allen said frustrated,

" hey! I know I have insulted your wife a lot but don't put the anger on Edward he did nothing wrong, rather you should mine your own business, you know how I hate nosy people." Alexa said and then came out of the car, looking eye to eye at Allen,

"I warned you, and I know a lot of people has advised you, stay away from Edward, he doesn't love you but you don't take the advice you want to make sure he breaks your heart into shreds, before you decide to let go of him," Allen said and then sighed in frustration,

"I warned you, remember that," Allen said and then stormed inside,

"I don't f_cking need your advice, you can go to hell for all I care, it's not like you took my advice before marrying that poor gold digger into our family, so why should I take yours," Alexa screamed at Allen as he went inside, but he didn't look back and didn't pay any attention to what she was saying and kept walking.
