Chapter 3 3

"We're back agents"

As soon as I received Lorah's text, we were home

I was swarmed with greetings and I let the chaos keep me busy so I wouldn't have to respond to Drew.

Agents 4.0 and 6.0 hugged me

"Liz, Avery!!" I exclaimed as I hugged them back

Mom and Dad came back even though their mission hadn't ended yet, just to see me.

They each gave me a long hug

I greeted colleague after colleague, friend after friend

Drew just stood there watching, until Ten saw him, facepalmed, and decided to send him on a random mission he made up.

"Drew! Go to the er......um....go to our base in I don't know, Alaska, and get the stock of plane missile launchers I have stashed there"

"Missile launchers?" Drew rose an eyebrow

"Yes Missile launchers. Come on 2.5 Its urgent!!"

"Yes sir" Drew saluted, glanced at me with a sigh, and left

Ten walked over to me grinning

"It'll take him until he gets there to realize we don't have a base in Alaska. I just wanted to get him out of your hair"

I laughed, "Thanks Ten"

"OK 2.0, I was originally going to send Lorah and Drew on this next mission, but Drew will be out for atleast 12 hours. Do you think you're up for another mission with your brother?"

"Yes definitely!!" I said excitedly

"Wow, that was a response! You sure love working with your brother don't you?!"

"Yeah. It's like having another me, except with boy hair!" We laughed

"Alright, meet me in my office. I had also thought of sending you on a mission with your Mom in the near future. It's a snipers mission and you two are the best snipers we have. I don't know whether I want to have that mission first or afterwards"

"How urgent is my and Lorah's Mission?"

Yours is an undercover mission to the estate of a wealthy businessman. He has conned our agency for centuries and we have now discovered his affiliation with the Ace agency. He intends to give Ace encrypted files on a hardrive that they took from us.

But it isn't too urgent because he expects Ace to retrieve it any time this month, we just have to do it before Ace does"

"What about the snipers mission?"

"Ten high-class rogue robo-agents are on the loose and if they see you, you're as good as dead because they send deadly beams of light at you through their eyes"

"And they are on the loose in some random city with civilians?!?!"

"Yes. That's why it's urgent. There have been 300 people killed so far"

"Oooookay yeah that's clearly the mission I need to go on ASAP!"

I saluted Ten and ran to my room to pack a few things Ten watched me go and I heard him say to himself, "That 2.0 really is something."

I smiled

I walked into my room, pictures of my hero's of our agency were on my wall along with a picture with me and my "brothers" and one with me, Liz and Avery.

Another one with just Drew and I as 7 and 8 year olds hung over my bed.

I grinned at Drew's goofy kid smile. I had plenty of other photos of us in missions, him jumping to protect me in our tougher ones.

As I was standing there smiling at the photo, Avery and Liz walked in.

I didn't notice them until I felt someone hug me from either side.

"We heard you're leaving again" Liz said sadly, "I really wish we can come with you this time"

"Yeah, like our expertise is not on the physical side of being an Agent but we want to come to make sure you don't die"

"I'll be fine guys, this mission won't take longer than two days tops. I'll be back for Friday girls night"

"Well we've been here, patrolling all night so you haven't missed anything"

The girls hugged me again and left.

I was almost done packing my essentials when my Mom, Agent P, peeked into my room

"Sweetie can I come in?"

"Sure Agent P"

"Sicily, are you upset that we have a mission together? I mean I'm literally dying of excitement but I feel like you probably don't feel the same"

I shrugged, "I don't really care, I mean it's just a mission. It's not like we're having Mother/Daughter bonding time though it's not like I know what that's like.." I paused and took a deep breath

"It's just a mission with a partner, no big deal"

"But it IS a big deal! I thought my baby girl was dead for 19 years, you thought your parents died 19 years ago, the fact that we're all alive and reunited is the most amazing thing ever!! I was to catch up so badly. You're are couple months away from being 20 and I've only known you for the first 6 months of your life. I don't know who you've become"

I took a plaque off my headrest that had my credentials as a high class sniper on it and handed it to my Mom

"This is what I've become." I said

"This is amazing sweetie! I still can't get over the fact that you became a sniper too. I watched Lorah train so hard to be one and find out that it's not his talent. I'm just so glad it's yours"

Just then Lorah walked in...

"You can't go Sicily. Not with Mom, I don't trust her"

"Lorah?" My Mom looked hurt

"Lorah, it's fine" I said

"No it's not! She hid you from me and I'm pretty sure she didn't try hard enough to find you before believing you were dead!"

"Lorah we put her in a sheltered gazebo outside the building so she wouldn't get hurt from our fight, when we escaped the building, the gazebo was burnt down. What were we supposed to think?!"

"I don't know, but if you guys had a little hope that she was rescued then maybe I would've had a sister for 19 years!"

Lorah held my hand, "We can go on our mission. I don't want you going with Mom"

"Lorah, this mission has people's lives at stake, I can't just make them wait to be saved. I trust Mom, maybe not as a Mom, but as a fellow high- clads sniper who can help me rescue a bunch of people" I squeezed his hand before letting go.

"Everything will be OK" I kissed him on the cheek, "I love you twin bro"

"I love you too Sicily" He said, hugging me.

We hugged for a little while, now that we've found eachother, we hate being separated, even if it's for a couple of days.

After about five minutes, I pulled away, "See ya! I'll be back before you know it!"

"Alright see ya", Lorah smiled affectionately at me and waved, I noticed he acted as if Mom wasn't there

As he left, I sighed. I wish my whole family could just get along

Mom and I grabbed our bags and left, hurt still all over her face. "Hopefully a little bonding can take place during this mission" I thought
