Chapter 5 Deal With A Beast

Elizabeth's Pov

I was sitting on the bed, my body tense and my face contorted with anger. I glared at the wall in front of me, my eyes were fixed on a single spot as if I could bore a hole right through it. my breaths came out in short, sharp bursts, as I struggled to contain the rage that simmered in me.

"Eat, Lizzy."

Vivienne came up to me, bringing and holding a tray of food. I saw her put it on the table, I just stared at her. The woman stopped and stood in front of me.

"I have no appetite," I said.

I looked away, her eyes moved to look at my hand that was now chained. My two arms were open, they chained my arms to the other side of the bed.

I have no escape.

Vivienne sighed, she took the plate, she sat next to me, she tried to feed me but I just turned my head away.

"You didn't eat yesterday." She still tried to make me eat qgain but I kept turning my head away.

"You're treating me like an animal," my voice was full of anger. I looked at her, my tears fell. "You chained me, your brother is taking away my freedom. He's taking away all of the things I need, even though I'm not like you."

I can't explain my anger.

My fists clenched tightly, and I dug my nails into my palms, trying to distract myself from the anger that threatened to overwhelm my whole being. My muscles tensed as I fought to keep my emotions in check, but the effort was futile.

My mind raced with a flurry of thoughts, each one more infuriating than the last. I unintentionally replayed the events that had led up to my current state, each memory fueling my anger and frustration. the injustice of it all made my blood boil, and I could not help but feel as if the world was conspiring against me.

"Lizzy, please." She tried to bring the spoon closer to me again, but I violently avoided my head, the spoon accidentally hit my cheek but I did not react as I felt the pain on it.

I just stared at the food that fell on me, Vivienne gasped. I wanted to say sorry but I didn't, I told them many times that I didn't want to eat yet they are still forcing me.

"Tell your goddamn brother that I won't take any commands from him." I blurted with a threats on my voice, as if that they will be scared of me.

Vivienne knelt down to pick up the mess below, I saw her stop for a moment, as if she heard something I didn't know. She stood up and looked at me.

"I'll come here again to feed you."

I saw that she just left the glass of milk on the table. And when She finally got out, I cried even more silently. I moved my hand, but the chain in my hand was too tight, I took a deep breath while trying to calm myself down.

"Curse you, Aaron." I whispered, hoping he would hear me. "Curse you..."

I know he can and we can mind link, I found that out the other day. Since I am in their world, since I am his so called Luna. I also now have the ability to hear what he says in my head.

But I don't know if he can read my mind, if he can't, I would be glad. I bent down and bit my lower lip. I have been thinking for several nights, the reason why I am here but I can't remember. The only thing I remember is the events that happened when I came here.

I can only remember names.

I can only remember the events that happened since I came here.

But I could not remember the reason why I am here. I don't know why, it's like a dark poisonous smoke is enveloping my brain.

I looked up and closed my eyes tightly when I felt pain in my right shoulder, I looked at it. I saw two black holes, on the side of which there were short black veins.

"Beasts..." I accused while panting.

The second time the door opened again, it spat out the man wearing eyeglasses. He looked at me and he smiled.

"Hi, I'm Matheo. Just call me Theo, I am Aaron's cousin. I came here to feed you since Vivienne has something to do."

I didn't say a word, he brought the same food as before, but it looked like he brought something new, he also sat next to me.

"I don't want to eat," I said even though my voice was hoarse.

"Just a lil bit?" I shook my head. "Our doctor said that you're underweight, you're in our world, our presence is so strong that it will give you weakness. You need to learn, that from now on, you're living with us, and you're now one of us."

"No, I would not accept you. I would not accept your Alpha," I saw the look in his eyes, he dropped the food.

"Are you... are you rejecting the Alpha?"

I didn't say a word, I thought for a few minutes before agreeing.

Rejecting? Is that what they call to it?

"Yes."

He blinked a few times.

"Don't you know that he's been mateless for almost three hundred years, and that made his wolf in grief and weak. But now you're here, all his strengths came back."

I looked away.

"I don't care, I don't belong in here. I have a reason why I came here, I have no bad intentions, I do not wish for deaths, I do not wish for war. I came here for a reason, and I am trying to stay alive to remember what it is."

I didn't make a sound, except for the occasional sniffle as I tried to stifle my cries. Mt breathing was shallow and ragged, as if each breath required a great effort. The tears continued to fall, and I couldn't seem to stop it.

"Then stay alive, avoid danger--" I cut him off.

"Free me."

"What?"

I stared into his eyes.

"Free me, Theo. Let me go, that's the only reason for me to live. If I stay here with that bastard, I won't live long. You can help me."

He stared at me for a few seconds. My mouth moved as my heart suddenly throbbed, and I heard that voice again.

'You're playing well, Elizabeth.'

Damn you, Aaron. Damn you.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't do that. I am his loyal member of the pack, and I couldn't betray him like that."

I rolled my eyes and looked away.

"You're as weak as I thought."

Theo sighed. He suddenly stood up and walked away, less than a few seconds later the door opened again and Aaron entered. He was wearing a black suit that was folded up to his elbow.

He stared at me as he walked in front.

"You're a great manipulator, Lizzy."

"It's Elizabeth, not Lizzy." Aaron tilted his head.

"Elizabeth is too long."

I didn't say a word, he took the glass of milk and slowly walked towards me.

He drank it and stood by my side, my heart was racing fast, it was throbbing so hard. My face is different from the feeling of my chest. I am scared, I am nervous, but my face shows nothing but anger.

"Too bad it didn't work," he sat next to me. "Matheo is an omega, a weak one. But I dare you not to underestimate him. Especially you, a human being."

When he mentioned the word human, I quickly looked at him, I gritted my teeth and I was even more angry to notice that he seemed to like my reaction.

"You won't get any benefits from me. I despise you, like those Rouges. and I will never accept you as my mate--"

"You don't have the rights to reject me, Lizzy. You are a human, who can never match the strength I have. And I am your Alpha, who you can never match."

"Then reject me!" I yelled angrily. "If I don't have the ability to reject you, then do it. It would be easy for us!"

Aaron tilted his head and I swallowed hard.

"I never said I hated you. So why would I reject you?"

I didn't say a word, I looked away, I hate it when I cry. Especially since he can see it right now.

"I hate you."

"Hate me anytime you want, but that won't change the fact that you are my mate."

I looked at him again, my lips moved apart to see that he's already on top of me, his hand is firmly holding my wrist, his face is very close to mine.

"Get off me!" I moved my body, but I think that was more of a way to make him more mischievous in what he was doing.

"I'll bring you tomorrow to the place where Rouges found you. And if you remember anything, I will let you work with yourself, and give you freedom until you find out everything. But if you don't, you will remain in my property and I will be the one to help you remember everything."

I blinked.

"How can I trust you?" I asked.

Again, Aaron tilted his head, his eyes pierced into mine and I felt a strange sensation from his gaze.

"There's no other way, Elizabeth Wood. You just need to trust me."

"I can't trust a beast like you."

His eyes dimmed, I know he didn't like the words I said but I didn't care.

"I can help you, Lizzy." as Aaron spoke, his voice was honeyed and seductive, promising my riches and power beyond my wildest dreams.

I looked away.

If I agree to what he wanted, it's like I'm making a deal with a beast.
