Chapter 6 WHAT GAME ARE THEY PLANNING

Hazel was thrown into her room and she sat on the bed heavily. She thought about how life was being unfair to the weak and she couldn't help but cry.

"I'll be fine, I'll definitely pass through this phase", she encouraged herself. She stared at herself and knew it was time to take a shower. Firstly, she went round her room and slightly opened the curtains and the sunlight shone in.

She went to the bathroom, took a quick bath and dashed to her cloakroom to pick out some clothes. The room was big and it contains varieties of newly brought clothes.

Rows of bags, shoes, make up, wigs and other accessories.....the dressing table was occupied with different skincare products for wealthy woman which she had only seen on TV.

No wonder the proud peacock said last night that 'can't the Montana's satisfy your needs', He is indeed right!

She picked a dress and quickly changed into it. She tied her hair up in a bun and applied a light makeup before going downstairs.

"Uhm...have you seen Dave??", She asked on sighting Vivian.

Vivian threw cold glances at her. Compared to the first five missing wives of master Dave, she was not the most beautiful but this bitch had gained the full attention of master Ryan. She stopped and eye her angrily.

"Look, if you want to survive here, it's better not to ask what you shouldn't. Also, dropped the act of dressing like a noble woman and walking so seductively, I don't know who you're trying to seduce!"

Hazel's eyes changed when she heard this and she gave a cold reply, " As far as I know, you're just a maid here and you have no right to tell me what to do, bitch", she said and left, bouncing her ass seductively at her.

"You...."

She watched Hazel leave, feeling choked by her words.

"If it weren't for master Dave, you would have suffered long ago! Let's see how long you can survive", she smirked and her phone rang at that moment, she took it and walked out.

"Hey Vivian, it's me Betty". On bearing Betty's voice, Vivian became tense and walked even further.

📞Betty, I don't want you to call here often. It will be no good if someone finds out.

📞 I know, I just wanna know if that woman is dead. There are rumors that brides of the Montana's family mysteriously disappeared on the wedding night

📞No, she's still very much alive

📞What do you mean?? How come??, Betty said in panic. She had purposely sold her to the Montana's family just to end her existence but now that she's still alive, it would be big trouble in the nearest future.

📞Hmmm, Vivian I'm curious about something. What is the cause of the death of new brides in the Montana's family?

Vivian was silent for five seconds.

📞How am I supposed to know?? After all, I'm just a maid in this house.

📞Okay. Anyways, Vivian pls make sure she doesn't leave that house alive. If I get into trouble, you will be implicated

📞 I understand, just give me three days.

📞Okay, I trust you.

Betty hung up and felt at ease. Hazel is definitely done for this time!.

In the kitchen, Hazel was carefully brewing the medicine when a maid walked in.

"Miss Hazel, there's a phone call for you"

"Oh okay", she said and went to the living room. She picked it up and it was the voice of her stepmother.

"Hazel, it's me, your stepmom"

"Obviously!! Why are you calling me??", She rolled her eyes.

"Hazel, don't talk like that or is it because you are now married into a wealthy family??

"Meaning?? Your daughter clearly sold me to this mess. You'd better return that money otherwise you will regret it"

"If you really don't like that place, come back home. I'll have Betty return the money. You know, she's young and inexperienced so pls be more understanding as her big sister"

"Whatever", Hazel said and hung up, looking slightly confused. What game are the daughter and mother playing??

Meanwhile, Vivian had snuck to the kitchen through the back door. She sprinkled white powder to the medicine and quickly took her leave.

Minutes later, Hazel carried the medicine to Ryan's mini office in the house, where he was having a meeting with his business partners.

Vivian followed and smiled secretly. Now, there's definitely no way she will explain attempted murder of master Ryan.

Several business men surrounded Ryan, talking business.

"Mr Ryan, this raw stone is one of the sample stones of the Phoenix eye and if this stone is cut, it will definitely be of the highest quality glass type", Mr Charles said with hopeful eyes. Montana's family was the largest jewelry merchant in the country and if he was interested, this deal would be worth hundred of billions.

Luke glanced at Ryan's expression and said to Mr Charles, " you know the rules, our boss doesn't do individual deals. If he wants to buy, he'll buy the entire vein. Give us a price"

Just then, Hazel got to his door with Vivian.
