Chapter 5 DRAMA QUEEN

"What is this man up to!!", she said in her head.

She tried to stand up as gently as possible but he didn't even budge. He just kept holding her tightly and motionlessly.

She stared at him, having full access to his unresisting face. She traced his round face in a circle and just as she was about to touch his lips, his eyes snapped opened.

Hazel gasped in fright and stood still in shock! She wave her hand across his face and it dawned on her he was not fully awake.

Gosh! Everyone in this family behaves so crazily.

After many attempted failure, she gave up coupled with the fact that she was exhausted and so she eventually rest her head on his chest and let sleep take over her.

The next day, as the sky was just beginning to lighten, Ryan personal guard( Luke) pushed opened the door and saw this ambiguous scene.

He was so shocked that his eyes almost fell out of his socket.

Master Ryan and the newly bride were sleeping closely beside each other on the same bed??....

This is simply unbelievable.

Come to think of it, master Ryan actually has insomnia but just last night he was able to sleep all thanks to this woman beside him.

"Gosh, i can't believe she could treat the treatment we've been trying to cure", Luke said and finally went out of the room.

Hazel woke up the next morning and met herself on the big magnificent bed.

"How can I fall asleep instead of me to have escaped", she said in her mind and hit her head.

"Awake"??

She turned around abruptly and saw him sitting on the small cushion beside the bed.

She had actually thought he was handsome last night but now he seems to look more stunning.

"Are you done checking me out"???, he said in his deep baritone voice.

"Oh! Sorry. I actually didn't mean to end up on your bed last night, let's just say it was a mistake" she said and looked round the bedroom and discovered everything was in order except HER, she's totally a mess!

"Lest I forget! Did you sleep well sir??

"Hmmm...,"he nod his head.

"Since I've seem to have cured your insomnia temporarily, I think you need to keep to your promise".

"I never promised you anything, we haven't come to an agreement yet, remember??

"But..."

"No but..., this life is a give and take and you need to stay wise and focus "

"That's unfair... you cheated on me"

"I never did but anyways it's fine you can go", he said and raised his two hands.

"Really? Are you being serious??

"Yeah or don't you wanna leave again??", he said and smirked.

"Thank you, I will definitely repay you when we meet again in the future", she said and opened the door.

Immediately she got outside, she met Vivian and several maids outside staring at her as though they've been waiting for her.

"Would you love to go back to your room obediently or you'd rather prefer to be dragged to your room?? Vivian said with a frown.

"But he just gave me the permission to leave...."

"Are you married to master Ryan or to master Dave??. Only master Dave has the right to tell you to leave. Is that understood?? She asked meanly.

"But..."hazel tried saying.

"Maids???

"Yes ma'am"

"Drag her back to her room right now".

"No!! How dare you cheat on me you son of a bitch? I will definitely roast you alive the next time I set my eyes on you. RYAN!!!!" She kept screaming and kicking her legs in the air.

Ryan just shook his head and smiled. This woman is truly a drama queen.

What makes her think he will definitely let her go after finding out she's really the cure to his sleepless night??

That's impossible!!

She wants to leave?? It's definitely not that easy.

"LUKE???"

"Sir", he said and rushed in.

"Tell that woman to bring the medicine she used last night to my study"
