Bryce's pov

Once I saw the picture of Josie I knew I had to meet her. Clara told me she was in a serious relationship, and I was to stay away from her. I was never one to do as I was told. At first, I went to see her just to piss off my cousin, but once I saw her all that changed.

Normally women were all over me. Yet here Josie was challenging me. I mean who was this amazing girl? She was sarcastic and did not let me charm her one bit. So I decided to just be myself. I mean she had a boyfriend so she would make a great friend.

Too bad she was taken I would love to have a girl like her. One that doesn't let me get away with anything. A girl that challenges me and makes me laugh. A girl like that is hard to find. Her boyfriend was one lucky guy. I hope he knew what a treasure she was.

"So what are your plans for the day?" I asked.

"Well I have no classes today since my professor is out sick so I have no plans."

"Want to show me around campus?"

"Shouldn't you be with your family? I mean what would Clara say?"

"I am not into the whole family thing I told you that. Besides they don't need me there to talk badly about me. So what do you say?"

She looked up when I said that. I shouldn't have been so open, but something about her made me want to tell her everything. I wanted her to know the real me. Not the guy I pretend to be for others. She just had this way about her. Made me want things I knew I could never have.

"Ok if I am going to show you around then you owe me food after."

"Deal," I said.

She smiled at me and then pulled me to my feet.
