Chapter 5 The bright side of death

I woke up from my grave. Noo! I yelled, raised my hands and flew up with bats all over me, then I jumped down with a sad face. My two remaining brides were lying upside down staring at me, as I walked upside down.

But can't they just leave us alone? We never kill more than our feelings and less than our share! Can they say the same? Without any stress imported to us, to be finished with Nala Val-Leros before she destroys what we are trying to create!

I kept walking towards my brides, and they moved backwards with tears in their eyes while upside down.

We lost Rebecca! Shira said in a sad tone.

Well, do not worry, I shall find another bride.

What! Do we mean so little to you? Sarafina said while crying.

Have you no heart? Shira said.

Noo! I have no heart, I feel no love, no fear, no joy, no sorrow! I am all alone, and I will leave forever! I yelled out.

Oh my lord, Sarafina said.

It is not so bad. Shira said.

I chuckled. I'm at war with the world and every living soul! And so the final battle will begin. We must find out when we visit again.

A chained werewolf beside me roared, and my army stared at it. You will have a little courage in him. We're very close to success. We can't be interrupted now. I said.

Noo! Sarafina yelled.

The last experiment was a failure! Shira said as they both jumped.

Please! You said you wouldn't try again. Sarafina said.

My heart can not bear the sorrow if we fail again. Shira said. I roared at both of them, they roared and stepped backward, crying.

Come! Do not fear me, everybody else fears me. Come my brides, and they came close to me.

Amon was torturing the chained werewolf, which was Aiden.

I said to my servants, moved close to the wall and disappeared with my two brides.

So how did you get here? Nala asked.

We went by sea. John said.

Where do I find Greyge? Cypher interrupted.

He used to live in this very house four centuries ago. No one knows where he lives now, my father will stand up and paint for hours looking for Greyge's hideout. So that's why you've come? Nala asked.

I can help you. Cypher said.

Nala chuckled. No one can help me.

You could die trying, all of my family has. I can handle this myself. She said, picking up her swords and weapons.

So I noticed. He said.

The vampires attacked in daylight. They never do that. I was unprepared and won't do that again. She taps her sword on his chest.

So why did they attack in the daylight? Cypher asked.

They wanted to catch me off guard, they seemed almost desperate to finish off my family.

What is that? Why now? He asked.

You asked a lot of questions.

Hmm, usually I ask one or two. What are we dealing with, and how do I kill it? He asked again.

My father spent most of his life looking for answers, year after year tearing through the tower, coming to the family out of guise. She picks up a gun and a dagger and puts it inside her pants.

John the tower, stop there! He stares at a map on the wall. If you were to save your family, would you stay alive until Drew is killed? Cypher asked.

And who would kill him if not me? Who will show courage if not me? She asked.

You go out there alone, you will oppose our position, and you can't see in the dark. In the morning we will hunt, but we will go together. He said while getting closer to her, she picked up an ax and pointed it towards him. He held it and they both stared at each other.

She collapsed, and he caught her in his arms and carried her inside, and I'm sorry about this too. He said.

She woke up in the middle of the night. Cypher! She yelled with anger, she got up from the bed and stepped out to check if he was still around.

Cypher! She opened the door, but he wasn't there. She took out a lamb, walked towards a room, and grabbed a weapon.

She heard a sound and turned around with force, it was windy, and the window was open. She sighed and closed it. She turned around and saw some footprints with droplets of water on them. She got scared as she heard sounds like a werewolf groaning behind her.

She picked up her gun, the werewolf was staring at her, she walked around quietly, turned around, and looked up to the ceiling. She saw the werewolf and ran out of the room quickly. She went into another room and shut the door. She turned around and saw her brother Aiden.

Aiden! Oh, my God, you're alive! She held his face.

No! No! I only have a moment. He said.

No Greyge has. No, please. He was trying to tell her something but was already transforming.
