Chapter 4 Terrace and Lily's plan

Lily saw her chance and decided to act. She found the person who had feelings for her and convinced him to handle a task for her. After making sure he understood what needed to be done, she swiftly changed into a black hoodie, face mask, sleek black pants, and black shoes. Lily was determined to keep her conversation with Krystle a secret, so she sent a message from an unknown number, asking Krystle to come upstairs under the pretense that her father-in-law Edward was unwell.

She was unsure why, but prior to arriving, she decided to bring her climbing gear a black rope and black dress which she stored in her car. This would come in handy once the party was over, as she could head straight to the mountains for climbing .Only her brother was aware of her past as a skilled climber during her teenage years, where she had even won awards. She never imagined she would use her gear in this way. Jackson, a man who had a crush on her, brought her items and gloves,she convinced him to help her, or else she would die. She believed that timing was crucial; if Krystle arrived at the right moment, her plan would succeed, if not, it would fail.

Edward was on the terrace, using his inhaler to help with his asthma. Illeana was there, comforting him and encouraging him to breathe slowly and take in the fresh air. They were enjoying the beautiful scenery when suddenly, a person in a black dress swiftly appeared and pushed them from the terrace. Illeana fell onto her father's legs, and he hit his head on the ground, causing a profuse bleeding were in shock,pain and confusion Edward saw Krystle arrive,she was crying shouting for help on the terrace. It was a terrifying and unexpected turn of events and they closed their eyes. Krystle ran into the hallway, screaming for assistance as she informed Illeana and dad fall from the terrace. Her legs felt weak,everything turned blurred before her, she fainted.

The air was filled with the sound of sirens as paramedics hurried to the scene, quickly assessing the situation and tending to Edward's head injury. Lilac was in a state of panic, trying to hold back tears as she watched her daughter and her husband being treated.

Eric was consoling her not to worry they will be alright.

The nurse informed his wife was awake,prompting her to say in distress save Illeana and father.

When Eric arrived, Krystle was in a state of panic, explaining the situation with shaking hands and inquiring about their condition will they be alright.

Krystle, please try to relax. The doctors are taking care of them," Krystle insisted, "I need to see them." Eric escorted her to the operating room where she witnessed the surgery in progress. the doctor approached them and delivered the news that his father's condition is extremely critical. On the other hand, Illeana's operation was successful, but she is traumatized. She lost her voice and was unable to move her legs and hands due to temporary paralysis. However, the doctor assured them that with ongoing treatment, there was hope for her recovery in the future.

The following physician arrived and informed Lilac that her husband's oxygen levels were dangerously low, making it impossible to save him. Despite Lilac's tearful pleas for the doctors to do everything they could to save her husband, she eventually received the devastating news that he had passed away. In a panic, Lilac rushed to Edward, begging him to wake up and not leave her alone. "Edward, I love you. You can't leave us like this.I'll feel lonely without you by my side. Your daughter needs you, our family needs you. Please wake up, Edward."

Eric Krystle couldn't stop their tears, pleading with dad to wake up. Krystle sat next to Edward,his eyes were tightly closed,telling him he is strong and brave, begging him not to leave them.

Krystle's mom and dad were also crying, struggling to find words of comfort during this difficult time.

The police authorities arrived at the scene and asked corporation from everyone present, emphasizing the seriousness of the murder case. Upon approaching Krystle, the sole witness, they requested a thorough account of what had unfolded. Krystle with tears cooperated fully, providing a detailed recollection of the events and urging the police to swiftly apprehend the perpetrator.They nodded in response, the police warned Krystle that, as the only witness and the one seen arriving on the terrace via surveillance footage, she could also be a suspect. They advised her to remain in the city and cooperate with the investigation to help bring the culprit to justice.

Lilac's anger flared up as she demanded the police to arrest Krystle, insisting that since she was the only one present, there was no way the mysterious person could have escaped all the cameras. Eric tried to calm his mom down, reassuring her that Krystle wouldn't do anything to harm anyone i trust her she is my wife she loved us wholeheartedly.

Lilac refused to listen to the police, insisting that they arrest Krystle despite the lack of solid evidence. She was too blinded by the loss of her husband to see things clearly. Eric questioned why Krystle would do such a thing, pointing out that she had no enmity towards them. Krystle then showed a message on her phone, claiming that someone had messaged her to come upstairs because dad was not feeling well.

All eyes were on the message, causing everyone to suspect that someone was plotting against her.

Illeana woke up to find everyone gathered around her, eager to check on her well-being.

Everyone was avoiding their eyes.However, she was unable to speak or move her legs. With tears streaming down her face, she gestured with her eyes and with too much difficulty she raised her finger to convey the heartbreaking news that she heard her father had passed away. Everyone's tears flowed they did their best to comfort her during this difficult time.
