Chapter 7 Successful Tracking

"Ms. Emma!" called one of the maid who had begged Emma not to leave the first time she was sent away.

Now Emma was in Adwlyn's house, a house she hadn't visited in a long time. Seeing her house still standing strong made her chest tight.

"I've missed you so much, Ms!" exclaimed the maid.

"I'm sorry, I have to disappear. As I promised, I will take revenge on them ... Aren't Jennifer and Jovanka here?" asked Emma.

"Only Mrs. Jovanka is in the gym. Come on, Ms, hurry up!" The maid led Emma into the house.

Even the maid and the security guards didn't know that Emma was coming. Since she knew the house very well, Emma entered the house unnoticed by the security guards outside.

"What does Ms, want to do? I will help you," the maid said.

"I need Jovanka's phone. Do you know where she keeps it?" Emma asked.

"Definitely in the gym, Ms. She can't get away from her phone at all," the maid replied.

"Oh my gosh, how do I get it? I need it!"

"Leave all this to me! I'll get her phone from the gym. Now, Ms. Emma, do what needs to be done here while I get Mrs. Jovanka's phone."

"Are you sure? What if you get caught–"

"Trust me. I would do anything for you."

Touched by those words, Emma hugged the maid for a moment and said, "Now, Noah is always with me."

Of course, the maid knew Noah, as she had worked here when Noah was still living in the Adwlyn residence.

"I am very happy that Ms, found the right person like Mr. Noah."

Not wanting to delay her mission any longer, the maid now made her way to the gym while bringing breakfast to Jovanka. It was not her job to serve breakfast.

"Mrs. Jovanka, here's your breakfast," the maid said as she placed the breakfast on the not-so-large table. Her eyes also looked at the phone that happened to be placed on the table.

However, Jovanka did not say anything to the maid who was walking on the treadmill and ignored her. Indeed, Jovanka has a very bad character, treating her maids as if they were trash!

Since Jovanka wasn't looking at her, this was an opportunity for her to grab her phone. So she put Jovanka's cell phone in her pocket. Then walked out of the gym.

"Ms. Emma?" the maid called out in a low voice, afraid that someone might hear her.

But there was no answer from Emma. The maid opened the door to one of the rooms that used to be Emma's room but was now Jennifer's room.

"Forgive me, Ms ...." The maid felt guilty looking at Emma who was looking around her room which was now dominated by Jennifer's belongings. Because she couldn't take care of Emma's room.

"Shit. She even used my room!" cursed Emma, who didn't expect it at all.

"Did you get it?" asked Emma, directing her gaze towards the maid.

"Here, Ms." The maid reached into her pocket and handed over Jovanka's phone.

"Thank you. By the way, I would also like to ask you to check the CCTV on the day my father went on a business trip before he died. I suspect Jovanka did something to my father before he died," Emma said.

"Alright, Ms."

"If you find something, you can contact me with this number ...." By chance, Emma saw a pen on the nightstand. She quickly picked it up and wrote her phone number on the maid's palm.

"Remember, don't let any of the maids know that I'm here. Because we never know if they are now on Jovanka's side or not."

"In that case, I will leave now. Thank you for helping me." Emma again hugged the maid tightly and even shed her tears.

So, would Jovanka's phone be useful for the investigation? Also, did the maid manage to find anything suspicious on the CCTV?

"How is it, have you heard from Emma?" asked Noah, who was focused on fiddling with his laptop screen to collect the evidence that the IT Team had obtained.

"Ms. Emma is on her way, Mr!" replied Zeke.

"Alright." Noah breathed a sigh of relief when he heard the news because his mind had been distracted thinking about Emma who was on a mission to get Jovanka's phone.

Thirty minutes later, there was the sound of a bell outside. because according to Noah, it was Emma coming. He immediately walked quickly to the main door. Zeke could only gape because Noah was walking so fast.

The door was opened by Noah and his guess was right. He immediately hugged Emma tightly.

"You're okay, Emma?" asked Noah as he hugged Emma's body to make sure she was okay.

"I'm fine. Now let's go find out where Raquel is."

The two of them walked to Noah's office. And Noah cleverly connected Jovanka's phone to the wireless cable that had been plugged into his laptop.

Noah had just been taught by the IT Team, how to track a cphone and he understood immediately, just by being explained through a video call.

Fifteen minutes later ...

"Holly shit!" Noah held his head with both hands as his mouth opened halfway.

"Sir Lion and Jovanka have a special relationship?" asked Zeke as he read out a message from Sir Lion to Jovanka that was full of sweet words.

"It was Sir Lion who advised Jovanka to marry Mr. Adwlyn," Noah paused.

They thought the two of them were just friends.

Emma who saw this felt her chest tighten even more. Her father who had a good heart had been betrayed by Jovanka.

"They made a phone call at 10 pm, and it was confirmed that Jovanka went straight to the location where Sir Lion was," Noah said again.

While reading the message, Noah also waited for the tracking to fully download.

When it was 100% downloaded, Noah immediately turned off Jovanka's phone so as not to be discovered if it was now in his hands, for fear of being tracked by Jovanka to find out her phone had suddenly disappeared.

When the files were transferred to Noah's laptop, it was clear where Jovanka had been last night.

"Do you know this location?" Noah asked Emma since Noah had not been in New York for a long time and had forgotten the remote locations in New York.

"I know!"

When it was clear where Raquel had been kidnapped. Emma walked to the kitchen for a drink.

She passed by the living room where the television was on. Until ....

"Noah, oh no!!!" Emma shouted.

Making Noah and Zeke immediately run into the living room.

"What's wrong, Emma?"

Emma was already weak and teary-eyed when she saw the news broadcast on the television there.

What was the news that gave Emma such a shock? Is Jovanka making trouble again?
