Chapter 3 3

I run out of the room, straight behind James, Cole, and Adam, and he says, "Trust me, I won't be dead."

Cole is heard saying, "Yeah, James, come on. We gotta hurry." I hear him say this as he gets keys from the counter in the front of the station.

As James replies, "We can still find him," I nod my head in agreement.

While I am listening to the sound of the doors opening wide and the wind blowing all around the outside, I gaze up to the entrance of the station. As I saw a Ghost Rider materialize with his whip drawn, my eyes widened with surprise.

The moment I notice that Cole's eyes are beginning to widen and that he is attempting to run towards us, I flick out my claws. Cole was lashed about the neck by the ghost rider, who was moving at an excessively rapid pace.

"No!" I hear James shout, and I immediately begin to rush in the direction of Cole.

He yells out, "James, run!" just as a large cloud of green smoke begins to take shape around him, and then he disappears. While I am stopping my sprinting, I flick my claws out, and my fangs begin to grow. As James continues to do the same thing, my eyes turn a brilliant shade of purple.

While I was in the process of running toward the Ghost Rider, James attacked it by running toward it at full speed and punching it. During the moment that he tosses the ghost rider over and onto a desk, my eyes widen in surprise. Although he continues to strike it, the ghost rider manages to catch one of his blows and seize James by the throat.

With a shout, I charge in the direction of the Ghost Rider. James is thrown through the window of the Sheriff's office by the Ghost Rider, despite the fact that I am able to peel him off of him.

It makes me cringe to see glass shattered all over the place. I hear Adam cry, "James!" in response, and the ghost rider's focus immediately shifts to her. When I make an attempt to grab him, he throws me over a desk instead.

When I looked up, I saw James kick the ghost rider through the doorway, and I let out a groan of physical discomfort. One of the desks is struck by the ghost rider as it flies back into the room. As I stand up, James leaps aboard the ghost rider and rides it.

As I make my way over to the rider, he grabs hold of James once more and forces him to the side of the road. In spite of the fact that I am holding onto the weapon and attempting to wrench it out of his hands, I watch him pull it out of his pocket. Despite the fact that I scratch his back with my claws, it does not appear to be of any use.

When I kick the back of his knees, he immediately cowers in fear. I hold onto him and turn him over so that he is lying on the ground. As he stands up once more, I let out a low growl. We both make a dash in the direction of it once James comes to my side.

The spirit rider manages to catch up to the throats and then throws himself backward. I raise my eyes to Adam as she pulls James and assists him in standing up.

In a mumbled voice, she says, "We have to get to Oliver." After getting up, I make my way towards the back door of the station, with James following closely behind me and Adam following closely behind each other.

As I turned around, I noticed that Adam was holding a whip around her wrist. I do this because I hear the whip grabbing onto someone. James makes a beeline for her and makes an effort to cling to her in fear that she may be snatched away. My eyes roll, and I dash back to provide assistance.

During the time that James and I were attempting to pull Adam back, I reached for her, but the ghost rider's hold was too firm. My boots are beginning to slip against the cement floor, and I let out a grunt as I watch them.

Both James and I are exerting every ounce of our strength. In the process of looking over, we all notice that lightning has hit through the other window, and another ghost rider has appeared. I turn my head and see him crack his whip in our direction, but Adam manages to grasp it.

After that, James takes hold of the other whip as well. I moan and can't help but hope that they will just leave us alone. While I am attempting to assist James, I am also holding onto the other whip. As Adam whimpers in the background, we all grunt in unison.

I yelled at him, "Come on, James!" so that he would become enraged and enable us to take advantage of his anger. After letting go of one of the whips, he uses both hands to grip the other one. To the other whip, I perform the same action.

He lets out a grunt of exasperation, and I do the same thing. Both of us are taking many deep breaths. The sound of Adam's voice causes me to shift my head ever-so-slightly around. They are not moving anywhere.

She sobs and whimpers, "James." "You must locate Oliver," she says, and James gives a brief change of direction to his head.

While he is attempting to tighten his grip on you, he cries, "I'm not leaving you." However, his efforts are unsuccessful. As I could feel my feet slipping even more, I let out a groan.

While he moans, he makes another attempt. Adam replies, "You have to," in an effort to convince her partner to stop what he is doing.

She says it once again, and I can't help but agree with her. "You can save me on the other side." This was an excessive amount, and we were squandering our time.
