It is James and Adam, who he looks up at. While he is saying this, he casts his gaze downwards to the shorts that are still in James's hand. "Break the sword."
In response to the bargain, James laughs, and Cole's eyes widen in surprise. While glancing at Elijah, Cole is heard saying, "We are not going to make that deal."
The response that I received from Elijah was, "I hold all the cards," and I groaned and crossed my arms.
Cole looks across at me and declares, "You are locked in a jail cell. You have no cards." I shrug my shoulders in response to his statement. Since Elijah is not going to return, it wouldn't make much of a difference, regardless of what happens. Just as an additional safety measure, the sword should be broken.
Arrogantly, Elijah continues, "You want me to tell you about Douglas," and then he pauses for a moment before continuing. I turn my attention to James, who is pondering the concept on his own.
The next thing he says is, "Break the sword."
It is then that Cole turns around and faces Adam and James. He does this by smacking his lips. I can't help but smirk when he says, "Does anyone else want to do the negotiating?" I suppose he realized that he wasn't going to go far with his efforts.
While Cole is moving to the side, James is directly looking at Elijah. As he continues to stare back at James, he proclaims once again, "Break the sword."
I feel a tiny increase in tension as Adam moves forward. She tried to break the sword, and I yelled at her. "I'll break the sword; I'll break it right in..." She turned her head to look at me, and James stood up.
He begins to stroll directly in front of the cell while uttering the word "Adam." While I moved to my side and continued to lean on the cell, the three of them all looked at Elijah without turning away.
Elijah says, "You break, I talk," while casting a glance at the blade and then returning his attention to James.
I let out a sigh. "It's not like he's going to go on a mass murder spree. There's no one in Anaheim Hills," I replied as I ran my hand through my hair. "There were no people in Anaheim Hills."
After hearing Adam's response, which was, "He could kill us," I looked at her and laughed.
I remark, "He's in a cell. What is he going to do? Spray liquid acid from his tongue or some shit?" She gives me a frown and looks at me with a hostile expression on her face.
Elijah's chuckle can be heard. He then walked back over to the front of the cell, where we were exactly in front of it, and said, "Come on, guys." "Listen, I don't want to be a part of anyone's pack. I don't want anyone's power. All I want is to stay alive," he says as he attempts to negotiate with the group of adolescents who are standing in front of him.
As Adam asks, "How do we know that if we let you out, you won't run?" I intervene and ask him the same question.
I say, "I'm faster than him," while glancing at him with a grin and gently raising my hand.
The moment James looks over at me and rolls his eyes, I offer him a wide smile that is full of cheekiness. The response that James gives is, "We are also not letting him out."
Another thing that James says is, "He's going to tell us from inside here." That is something that I agree with him on, and I nod my head. Despite the fact that it was terrible, it was safer for everyone.
First, Elijah gives the blade a stare, then he glances at me, and last, he looks back at James. He takes a deep breath and gulps, his Adam's apple bobbing up and down as he says, "I'm still going to need some incentive."
James gives him a look as he walks up to the tabletop after turning around and facing him. As Elijah has achieved his goal, I notice that he is smiling. Everyone in the room turns around and looks at James, who is removing the sword from its plastic case. He pulls it out to its fullest extent and then turns around to face us again.
He then glances back up at Elijah, who is watching with great attention, and then he arranges it so that it is facing the ground. James places his hand on the object that is located above the handle and turns it. As Elijah watches the blade break apart into its component parts and fall to the ground, his eyes follow the pieces.
With a look of annoyance on his face, James looks up at Elijah. After taking a few big breaths, I turned my attention back to Elijah, who was immediately looking at James.
After hearing Elijah exclaim, "He's a Lowenmensch," I find myself frowning in a state of bewilderment. When was the last time I heard that word? It has been a very long time.
Adam poses the question as she brings her arms together and says, "What the hell is a Lowenmensch?"
I gasp and groan inside. When I add, "He's part wolf and part lion," everyone turns their attention to me. "No wonder he was so damn strong. He has the power of a damn lion and werewolf. He's a nastier kind of a bastard."
As I glance, I notice that Elijah is visibly tense. "He was a part of the Ahnenerbe, Hilter's personal project to go to the Occult to win the war," according to Elijah.
Everyone in the room is paying attention as Elijah continues to describe the events that transpired in the 1940s when Douglas had his initial encounter with the Ghost Riders.
As he speaks, we all pay attention and think about what he is saying. After he has finished telling the narrative, he walks over to the bench in his cell and sits down.
Although he is leaning against the counter behind him, James remarks, "Douglas did not beat a Ghost Rider; rather, he ran." It is Adam who is walking with him as he makes his way towards the jail.
Elijah gives a slight nod and then glances to the side. Adam makes the statement, "We broke the sword for nothing," and I roll my eyes in satisfaction.
I raise my eyebrow in response to Cole's interruption. Cole continues, "Wait, if that was back in 1943, where's he been all this time?" after which, Elijah walks to the side of the jail and wraps his fingers around one of the bars. "I don't know where he's been," Cole asks.
Cole is the subject of his gaze. "Douglas pursued his search until he discovered a scientist who he believed could assist him," Elijah continued, pausing for a moment before he let out a sigh. It is three of them. He tightens his grip on the bar.
I say, "The Disquietude Doctors," and Elijah just shakes his head in agreement.
As Elijah begins to explain, I hold my hand over my stomach and think about what Douglas did. "The ghost rider's whip did not go deep enough to take him, but it did leave a gash on his back. He was thrown into the tank, and the wound infected the water. It mixed with the fluid from the vat and actually made him stronger because it made him stronger."
I groan as a chill runs down my back as Elijah adds, "Soaking it in, absorbing the power for seventy years." I am unable to contain my excitement.
"So, he came out with the power of an Alpha, a Lowenmensch, and a Ghost Rider," James says as he paces around the room, and I scoff at his statement.
When Elijah says, "Aside from effect, no one could expect," I roll my eyes and respond with that statement.
"Well damn, someone should've told me before the dumbass put his fist inside my stomach," I respond with sarcasm.
Elijah replies, "I tried to stop you; you're too stubborn," and I smirk, knowing that he was correct in his assessment of my behavior. When James looked at me, I smiled at him. He looked at me.
"So he can fight them," Adam begins as she moves over to James and leans against the counter. "So he can fight them." Adam continues, "He could stop them." Elijah stares between the three of them while resting on the counter throughout this time.
The question that James keeps asking himself is, "Why is he still obsessed? What does he want an army for?" The Nazis were defeated in the war.
When Cole replies, "He doesn't want it for them. The Nazis were just a means to an end. He wants it for himself," we all gaze at him. "He wants it for himself." We are the focus of his attention. As he continues, he says, "His own personal, supernatural army." I respond by widening my eyes in response to his words.
It is with wide eyes that James adds, "We need to warn Oliver," and I agree with him.
As I make my way over to Elijah, I give him a peck on the cheek. "We'll be right back. Don't be dead when I get back, or I'll kill you myself," I add in a frantic tone, and he smiles. "We'll be right back."
