" WORD.. how long can a message travel from here to earth?" I asked, laying on the bed.

" The maximum duration is about 6 months."

They looked at each other and laughed still loving each other. Leo reached out for his smoke and lit. He walked to the fridge and got her a yogurt.

" I think we should tell him." She suggested quick.

He looked back then faced front as he sat at the very front edge of the bed." What makes you say that?" He lits it. Again.

" I mean, the sex is good. But don't you worry that's he's going to find out sooner or later.

" You wanna tell him yourself?" Leo pushed back.

" No I'm not doing that." She said." But It would be better if we do it together. Not hiding to do this. He can be very detective you know him"

He tries to use kisses to keep her quiet but she fughts gently," I'm serious."

Leo rolls his eyes and walks to the edge of the room, " like doesn't that bother you at all?? You are literally his best friend."

" I tell him then what?" He snaps in. " After that project failed, he's not been himself. Trust me this is the last thing we can do to him. I mean it's going to tear him apart."

" I know Jo as much as you do." Leo added. " We didn't tell him the first time we kissed. That night at prom. We said we wouldn't do It again. But we still doing it."

" What are we gonna do??"

" We wait, JaS." He responded, standing up." We wait."

" You mean you want a break?" She asked in the most coldest voice.

" You want a break," she breaks.

He dropped his head and turned towards her slowly," I didn't say that."

"Then what are you saying?" She slowly climbs down the bed.

" With everything going on. I just think we should stop ---- seeing each other----- for now." He said.

She huffs deeply, chuckling with it. She looks him back to the eyes, walking closer till she was close enough."Fuck you.."

He shrugged" common."

She walks out of the room," I didn't mean it like that." He yelled, trying to explain.

Joel pov,

I walked into my silent compound.

I've been witnessing too much silence in my life lately. Nothing makes sense no more.

I mean the feeling was bad when it didn't work out, but hearing all that from someone who's into what you do actually made it worse. Like nothing matters no more.

I took my keys and opened the door. When I walked into our dark cool house. The clock tick was the only functioning sound in the house. So depressing.

My room was the worst.

I had no choice tho than to find where to lay my ass or just sit and reprocess everything. It's a big blow to my heart. Hopelessness. It's a such a dark room not to tell how wide it can be. A small room with no space but darkness.

" Enjoy my days__" I huffed as I start to reprocess.

A great rage fell on me that I had to scatter every paper on my desk. The whole room was tumbled by me already till I couldn't no more. Till I was tired of being angry..

Maybe It would suppress if I know what next to do. But that's the issue you have when your heart is already blackened by hopelessness.

I wept ...

" Joel Dawn is one of a kind." Word continues." Even though he has so many demons. Though he's been in some crazy stuff since his teen ages. He just needs the perfect voice in his head."

" His whole life he doesn't know why he wants a particular thing. He follows his heart and knowledge was something that will mess with him as he acts on his emotions. He never had no one to actually listen to him. Apart from the very time he fell in love, he misses who he was with Jas."

" He's not only sad or hopeless, he's scared that he would lose all those moments that pulled him together with his friends. All those nice moments would just slow move away.. now that his friends want to tell him the truth in days, it will traumatize him."

" I actually like Joel." I confessed. " I mean he's very different, smart and dark. I want him"

" What do you want me to do?"

" How far can you manipulate my response to reach Earth?" I asked.

" At least in 48hours, till he responds back "
