Chapter 2 The Alpha's Maid

Being a maid is the hardest job for me. I don't want to have a master because I want to be the master of my own life, but life is really fucking me hard!

"Faster! I'm hungry; if you fail to serve it here for one minute, I will eat you!" Alpha Blaze shouted from his room. Eat me? You will not dare to do so.

"Just go on, eat me, and you'll be poisoned right away!" I answered back without doubt. I know he is strong, but I am superior to him. I can destroy him with just one snap of my hand, but of course I won't do that to this guy.

"Here is your breakfast. I smiled at him playfully.

He stared at me sharply. "What are you waiting for? Get out, and I will eat!"

He keeps on shouting at me, knowing that I'm not deaf. I can hear

"Blaze, tomorrow you and the council will be having a meeting. Be there on time," I heard his mom say as Blaze entered the house.

"Tsk. Is there any other choice? Mom, you know I don't want to be an Alpha. I don't like this position; give it to someone else!" Blaze shouted to her mom.

Why is he not proud of it? He has the power and authority to control everybody; that's why Dark wanted him for so long.

"What are you doing here, ugly maid?" Blaze asked me coldly.

"Your dinner is ready!" I said with a smile on my face, trying to make his energy come alive.

"Eat the food you prepare. I'll be skipping my dinner," he said, walking directly to his bed.

"Skipping meals will make you weak."

"I'm not a human. Leave me alone!"

"After what you did to me? No, I won't obey you!" I said and sat beside him.

"D*mn you! What are you doing?"

Maybe he is really afraid of me. Because of my dark eyebags?

"Go away or else I'll mark you!" he said, trying to threaten me.

"What if I won't?" I continue teasing him.

He looked into my eyes, and I was shocked by the next thing he did. He pulled me closer to him and let our lips meet.

"What the!" I screamed, but he just laughed.

"Is that your first?" he asked teasingly.

"No, but damn you!"

"Really? Someone kissed you before? He is crazy like me, but I like that kiss."

And that crazy is still you. The old you, the human Blaze I loved before

I immediately ran inside my room and buried my face on the pillow. My heart is going crazy again! This can't be; I must stop this weird feeling as early as now. He is not the same as Blaze, who existed before. He has a rule in their pack: we are different.

"Come out, ugly maid! I have something to tell you! Blaze called me, so I stood up and calmed myself.

"What is it?" I asked him while scratching my head.

"Tomorrow, I want you to give this to Harry," he said, handing me a paper bag. I don't know what's inside, but It's a little bit heavy.

"Okay." I got the paper bag from her hand and turned my back to him.

"You'll go with me tomorrow."

I'll go with him to their meeting. Why should I?

"I can't go," I said, trying to piss him off again.

"You can't insist; I am your boss!" he said firmly in front of me. He raised an eyebrow and leaned his other shoulder against the door.

"Fine, I will go with you, Alpha Blaze!" I respectfully said and bowed.

"Don't call me Alpha; call me Boss," he utters before turning his back to me.

The next morning, we went to our school, but he left me at the gate. He hates walking with me; of course, my appearance is quite annoying, and knowing that he is an Alpha, it's not good to be with an ugly human.

"He is Blaze, right?' Lester came and walked with me. I look at him carefully. He is acting weird, but I can sense that he is telling the truth.

"Where did you come from? Are you also a God, a werewolf, or what kind of species are you?" I asked him, but he answered me with a smirk.

"Are you a spy?" I asked him again, but he only shook his head.

I chuckle and turn my attention to the man walking ahead of us. I ran as fast as I could and stopped him from walking. "Excuse me, here is..."

He looked at me, and I paused from talking. His eyes were as cold as his eyes, but then his face became calm. "From who?" he asks coldly.

"From Alpha Blaze," I answered, and he got the paper bag and threw it into the fountain.

Seriously? Why did he do that?

"Don't obey him next time," he whispered, leaving me.

"He is Harry Dews, ex-best friend of Alpha Blaze. They are great rivals now, and they hated each other. Your Boss just tricked you once again," Lester said and continued to walk while his hands were inside his pocket.

"Why? What happened?" I am curious about their past, and I want to know more about them.

"You will discover it soon. But for now, go, and your instructor is waiting for you. Be ready!" Lester left me, so I headed to our room.

"Where have you been yesterday?! You skipped my class!" Our professor yelled at me.

"I... I..."

"Go to detention now!" She shouted, and her eyes sparkled because of anger. Why werewolves on the earth?

I saw Alpha Blaze in the other corner. He is just looking at me like he doesn't know what happened to me yesterday. Why didn't he explain to this woman the real thing that happened to me yesterday?

I shut the door and went to their detention room. Darkness welcomed me, and I sat in the corner. I want to be alone, but I hate staying in dark places.

"You're already here. Don't worry, you're not alone." That voice is from Lester. What is he doing here?

"Why are you here?" I asked him, although I couldn't see him.

"You need to marry him and be his mate. That is the only solution for you to beat Dark," Lester said to my surprise.

Marry the Alpha? Is it a prank? I can't marry anyone because once I love someone, there is a high possibility that he will be destroyed.

"I am the destroyer. How can I love a man?"

"Love is the only answer to your questions. You have sympathy; you're not really a destroyer," he said, making me think.

But I am still afraid. I'm afraid of loving a man again; I am cursed. I want to risk his life because of my love; I don't want to be selfish anymore! This time, I will give importance to his life.

"Your time here is over. We can now go and proceed to our class," he said, and I blinked my eyes three times. That means we are classmates.

"Are we classmates?" I asked him, and his answer was only a simple nod.

"Lester, why do you think the world is unfair?" I asked him from the bottom of my heart.

"For you to learn something and be strong," he utters, showing me his sweet smile.

"How did you recognize me?" I tried to ask him again, but he didn't reply.

"You both get inside!"

All eyes are fixated on us. I Can feel Blaze's stares, and it's like a double-sharp sword that can cut me into pieces.

"Sit here, ugly maid." Blaze pulled the chair next to him.

"She sat here the first day she entered this school. That chair that you pulled belongs to your Beta. From the other side, Harry stated and tapped the chair beside her.

"The f*ck!"

Blaze stood up and went outside. He is furious, and I can feel that bad aura that he has.

I sat beside Harry, and Lester waved at me. I don't care if he is mad.

"You're not going to comfort your Boss?" I heard Harry ask, and I only shook my head.

"Why are you hiding your face?" he asked, which made my eyes widen.

I look at him with raised eyebrows. "What do you mean?"

"Nothing. I'm just confused on why you applied as his maid. He will only use you!"

"Do you like that jerk?' A cold voice asked from behind me.

I don't know who he is referring to-is it Harry or Lester?

"Who?" I asked and faced him.

"Harry." His brows arched.

"No, why?"

"Only a lunatic will dare to be friends with him," he said and chuckled.

"Why? What kind of werewolf is he?" Out of curiosity, I dared to ask him again.

"Why would I tell you the truth?"

"Tsk. Okay, fine, how about Lester? Do you know him?" I asked again, and he bit his lower lips.

"Why? Do you have a crush on him? I know you both shared the detention room earlier. Did something happen to you?"

"What the h*ell are you talking about?" I shouted at him, but I was shocked when he pushed me towards the wall and kissed me passionately. What was that for?

I pushed him away, but he only laughed. "I can't read your mind. Remember this: I will kiss you for every time you shout at me!"

You're the real jerk! You bastard!

"Get ready; we'll be leaving at 8:00 p.m. Clean yourself and wear a presentable dress. Wear this mask," he said and threw a box at me. So rude!

"Mask for what?"

"Don't ask, just follow what I say," he said, leaving me dumbfounded.

As I enter my room, I can't stop cussing. That man is a jerk!

"Woah!" I was amazed after opening the box he gave me. I found a light blue dress and a pink mask that will cover my whole face.

Why am I going to wear this?

"Blaze, can we talk?"

I eavesdropped from the door. Lady Averyl is talking to her son.

"You need to find your mate and present her to the council. You're wasting your time!"

Mate? So, Blaze needs his mate, as Lester said before. But he needs a werewolf, not a goddess like me.

"I don't want to have a mate. I don't want to be an Alpha. Why can't they give that position to Harry?" Blaze's voice rises.

"You are the chosen Alpha; accept your true nature!" his mom answered.

"I am searching for someone. The girl in my dream is the only girl I want to marry. I don't want to have a mate. I won't marry a lady if not her!"

Who's that girl in his dreams? My heart beats fast. What does it mean?

"So, what are you going to do now?"

"I will bring my maid, and I will introduce her to them. Don't worry, she's ugly; I will never fall in love with her, I swear."

It's like my heart froze from what I heard. That's too much, but well, that's a good thing for me not to cause trouble. But what if he saw my real face? Would he dare to love me and be his mate for real?

"Just don't ever try to fall in love with her. She's ugly and not good enough to be the next Luna of our pack. She's weak and fragile!"

I swallowed my saliva and put the dress together with the mask. I shouldn't be feeling like this. I don't care about them; I am just a stranger that needs shelter and food. That's why I accepted their offer.

"Ugly... I mean, Shama, are you done changing?" I heard a knock on my door.

"I'm done; give me a few more minutes to fix myself!" I answered back as I brushed my hair.

"An intruder has entered our territory. They look like soldiers, but they have magic; they have powers."

I heard someone as I stepped outside my room. It is his friend.

"Where are they?" Blaze asked.

"They just disappeared. Alpha, we need to secure our place. What are we going to do?"

"Lenox, relax. Let's talk about that later," Blaze answered. It's like he didn't care about it.

Soldiers that have powers? Wait, is it them? Has anyone told them that I am hiding here?

"Shama, you're really living here?" I froze as I saw Lenox looking at me.

even his simple sighs. Too disgusting!

"Why? I'm just standing here and your food is already on your table; what's the matter? Does my presence keep on disturbing you?" I teased him, but his eyes suddenly turned red, so I took a few steps away from him.

"Get out and never talk to me like that! You're just a maid!"

You are definitely wrong. I am not just a maid, as you know; I am more dangerous than you. This is a good thing anyway. His attitude will help me not to love him again.

"Where is my son, Shama?" Lady Averyl came with a towel in her hand. I think that's for Blaze.

"He is eating in his room, Lady Ave. He cast me out; that's why I'm here, I replied, and she nodded.

"Be patient with him; he used to do that to his maids. I hope you'll be able to understand his attitude," she said, patting my shoulder.

"No worries about that, Lady Ave. I can handle this," I answered and smiled at her. I will handle him with care, but I will strangle his neck once he dares to hurt me, I swear!

"I'm done!"

As he shouted again, I hurriedly went to his room, but where the bad thing was, he is topless now, and I can see his displayed six-pack abs while there were drops of water running down from his hair. I remained standing at the door while looking at him.

"Get in and have your meal in your room. You're getting late!"

I immediately ran inside my room and covered my reddened face. It's not the first time I've seen a topless man, but Blaze's body amazed me the most. But wait... doesn't our setup look strange? I mean, my room is inside his room too. What if I came out while he was doing something private? What would I do?

"Bring my bag to our room!" After that, I heard the door shut, and that was a sign that he had already left.

I took a bath and applied all the things I needed to disguise. After fixing myself, I let the fan blow my hair to make it messy. After that, I picked up a Blaze bag and continued on my way. I have no other choice but to walk until I reach our fucking school.

"The nerd is here!"

I stopped when I felt something hit my head. I tap my hair and find a sticky thing on it. It smells bad! What is this?! Shit!

The hallway was filled with laughter. I clench my fists as they continue to throw those eggs at me. They didn't stop there. One guy threw a bowl of flour on my face. I am totally messy now!

"Who's that?" I heard a familiar voice around.

I couldn't see anything because my eyes were covered by the flour. Damn them! They are merciless. Werewolves are more heartless than ordinary humans!

"Your bag is in her hand!"

The Alpha's bag is in my hand, and it is also covered in dirt. I see deeply and control myself. I can't use my power on them. This isn't the right time to use it.

"ENOUGH!" That voice is owned by Blaze.

"Did I command you all to bully this poor lady?" He asked them all and pulled me, then blew the flour that blocked my eyes.

"Not at all, but you said that all nerds are banned in this school. Why is she staying here?" A girl questioned him.

"She will stay because she is my maid. No one has the authority to slave and hurt her except me." He looked at me and smirked. "Understood?" he shouted, and everyone nodded and went back to their respective classrooms.

Should I be thankful to him? Tsk. This is what I am scared of: being bullied by weak creatures, but I would rather be bullied by them than destroy lives without a valid reason.

"Change your clothes and clean yourself in the restroom!" Blaze said and then walked away.

I did not obey him. I walk towards the wood and shake myself to blow the flour on my head. I lost my appetite for attending our class. I must stay here to get some rest.

"I told you to clean yourself; why are you sitting here like crazy? Can't you understand my simple command?" He pulled me again but then released me.

"Just attend your class; I'll be waiting for the dismissal."

He narrowed his eyes and combed his hair. That's so sexy!

"You'll be sent to the detention room tomorrow; maybe that's really what you want," he murmured, and left me. I knew that, but who cares?

I can't really believe that I will meet him again. It is quite normal for him not to remember me because he is just being reincarnated. It's hard for me, but I will try my best not to step into the same trap again.

"Let's go home! Wake up!"

I didn't realize that I had fallen asleep while waiting for the class dismissal. I was surprised when I saw Blaze's face closer to mine. What is he doing?

"You didn't leave me?" I asked him, but he just chuckled.

"Get up, and your smell stinks," he said, putting his hand on his pointed nose.

"I'm sorry," I said, standing up.

"Where the hell did you come from?' he asked, as if he cared.

"Alpha, why are you with that ugly nerd?" I heard one of his friends ask. Blaze threw his bag at me and laughed while walking towards his friend.

That's mean! I understand what he means by his actions.

"She's not ugly; actually, look at her; she's sexy, and without those pimples, she's pretty!"

"That's enough! Don't pay attention to her! Shama, go home!" Blaze said, so I nodded and started walking.

Why should I waste my energy on walking if I can still use my ability? But it's not safe to use it here. I need to be careful with every action I take.

"Get in! I didn't tell you to go home alone!"

I was stunned when Blaze's car stopped in front of me. What is he doing? He just told me to go home, and now here he is.

"You told me to go home, so that's---"

"No more explanations; get in, or I'll leave you here!"

I hoop in and sit at the back. I saw him checking me in the mirror.

"Are you aware that werewolves bite?" he asked, an obvious question.

"Yes, of course," I answered.

"Don't go home alone. It's dangerous. Once someone bites you, you'll become one of us. And once you turn to be a werewolf without marrying a royal-blooded werewolf, you'll forever be stuck in a wolf form," he explained, and I just nodded. I already knew it.

"That's cool," I said and smiled, and I noticed that he got mad at what I said.

"Crazy! Do you think I want to be like this? This is a curse," he said while driving.

"It is said that every ability is a gift. Be thankful that you have special abilities and use them in a good way," I said and sighed.

"I want to be like you; can a human bite change us into a normal one?'

I laughed at him. "What a funny Alpha you are," I commented, and then he kept silent.

"Where did you get those pimples? Are you cursed by a witch?"

I shook my head. "It's part of my puberty stage," I uttered as I went out of his car while carrying his bag.

As I entered the gate, I felt my heartbeat rising. This is a sign that something bad will happen. What will it be?

"Damn it! Help me get down!" I screamed as the rope pulled me upward. I saw Blaze laughing while holding his stomach. What a pragmatic Alpha! He is not yet ready to rule his pack!

I used my strength to cut the rope, so I fell on the tile. It hurts, but I can still handle standing by myself.

"You love pranks? Then you pranked the wrong person, Alpha Blaze," I said, giving him a luscious smile.

Does he think I will leave my job because of that simple prank of his? That's basic!
