Chapter 7 I Don't Want to Reject Her.

WHEN MY DAY started a mess, I know for sure that it will also end up messy. That's why for a moment when Felix asked that question, I was stunned. I looked down into my shirt and just realized that the orange juice that Francine poured me earlier had stained my shirt. And now Felix saw it!

"I... I accidentally spilled my orange juice earlier," I answered nervously. "We should go now..."

But Felix didn't stop staring at my shirt. It was as if he was analyzing if I was telling him the truth or not. And instead of answering me, he grabbed my hand and pulled me away from where I was standing.

"F-felix... What are you doing? We can just walk slowly!" I complained.

However, even after complaining to him, he continued dragging me while asking some students who spilled juice on my shirt. Another embarrassment filled me, I hid my face away from everyone as he asked each of everyone and when no one answered, we stopped walking. He grabbed someone's collar and pulled the student towards him.

The poor little boy looked surprised and horrified as he tiptoed while he pulled him.

Felix raised a brow and his lips pursed, "Tell everyone not to mess with my mate, Iris Hildegard. If someone messes up with her again, I'll be the one who will punish them. Understood?"

The guy quickly nodded with complete fear in his eyes and Felix pushed him away before the guy ran away telling everyone about the news. I palmed my face as I felt my face blushed in embarrassment! I can't believe that he says that!

"Why did you say that? Now they have more reason to bully me," I sighed.

What will Francine and Kate do once they find out about what Felix announced? They might do more than what they are already doing to me! I was too worried about what might happen to me but Felix seemed to be confident.

"Don't worry about them from now on," he replied. Then we finally continued walking our way out of the university.

And that's the start of my freedom from the university. After what Felix told that only one student, everyone got his words and they never messed up with me again even Francine and Kate who has been my bully ever since middle school stopped bullying me. In the first days that no one was bullying me, it felt so weird since I was used to being bothered by them. But as days pass by, I'm starting to be thankful of what Felix did for me.

"Why did you accept me as your mate?" I asked Felix while we were eating our lunch in the cafeteria.

Felix looked at me after he chewed the sandwich in his mouth. "I can't ignore my mate screaming for you."

My mouth gaped at what he said. I didn't know why but I felt a bit sad about his answer. When Sunshine first smelled his scent as my mate, she's also screaming at me, telling me that she wanted him but I ignored her because I thought Felix denied me too as his mate.

"Why?" Felix asked.

I shook my head and smiled. "My wolf went silent after I was declined by Asher... Until now, she's not waking up even after you accepted me. I wonder how she'll feel if she finds out about us. I kept on calling her, but she's not answering."

Felix smirked as he lifted up his hand to touch my cheek. His fingers trailed down my cheek and slowly dropped to my lips before he parted it. "Should I help you with that?"

"How are you going to do that then?"

"That's simple... I believe she'll listen to me if my wolf calls her..." His hoarse voice sent shivers down my spine.

And I swallowed the lump in my throat as I Iooked into his light blue eyes. The way he said those words is so inviting and when I looked down into his lips, I felt this strong urge to taste those red lips. How would it feel if his lips touched mine?

While I was looking at him, I didn't realize that he's starting to lean closer to me... and when the tips of our nose touched each other, I closed my eyes to wait for his lips but...

"Damn this!"

We were both surprised when someone slammed the table. I quickly moved away as my heart pounded so fast and I lifted my head to see who it was!

"A-asher?" I asked.

His eyes were raging in anger as he looked at us. His claws drugged through the table and he glared at Felix. "You really had the guts to do this in the cafeteria in front of them?"

Felix stared at him stoically. "So what? As if you're not making out with Brittany at your table minutes ago."

"That's different!" Asher snarled.

"Different? What's making it different? Iris is my mate and we have all the rights to do what we want to do here," Felix answered, still maintaining his calm composure.

While I was so nervous with how they were talking. It seemed as if Asher wanted to rip Felix's throat right here and now!

"Asher... Please, we are not doing anything..."

"And you!"

I almost jumped out of my seat when he yelled at me. I caught my chest as it beated faster than earlier.

"You said I was your mate... but you're screwing my brother and you're telling everyone that he's also your mate?! How could that happen? I didn't reject you yet! I believe you're bluffing, it's impossible that we are both your mates!"

"Then fucking reject her now to finish all of these argument!" Felix shouted. "Believe it or not, we are also mates. How dare you question her? And why does it bother you? You've already marked Brittany!"

This time, Felix stood up and grabbed Asher's collar. Everyone is looking at them with surprise. It was the first time that the twin brothers had been seen arguing in public!

I quickly stood up to stop the tension between them but both of them are starting to heat up. Felix's eyes flickered into golden yellow as well as Asher's. Their fangs grew larger and hairs grew from their faces.

"What if I don't want to reject her? What will you do then?" Asher raised a brow.

I gasped at what he just said and I'm sure that everyone was also the same as what my expression was. Asher despised me! He treats me like complete trash. So why is he acting like this?

"What did you say?" Felix asked out of anger.

"I don't want to reject Iris. She will be my mate, whether you like it or not!" Asher growled louder.
