Chapter 6 The Stranger

Chapter 6

Two hours later Sania came out of her unconsciousness. She did not die but due to the effects of alcohol and cigarettes Abraham's friend mistook her as dead. Sania was feeling drained by the time she came out of hospital. Waiting for the bus at the bus stop for more than an hour added to her fatigue. When the rogues attacked her, she pleaded with them for mercy in her vulnerable state but they were the beasts who were heartless with no trace of humanity. As a result when they started charging upon her she was already on her way to dropping consciousness.

After regaining consciousness, she looked around and took note of her devastated state. She was naked and covered with mud. There were red scratches and nail marks everywhere on her body and she was bleeding with soreness in her center. Covering her face with her palms Sania yowled like a lost soul for losing her virginity but there was not a human to listen to her agony.

She doesn't know how long Sania collected her clothes that were scattered. She gathered herself and slowly covered her aching body with trembling hands. She wanted to call her mother and cry, she wished to share with her sister the sorrow of getting abused. She was aching to tell her dad she needs his protection and help her attain justice for the heinous crime she suffered but alas her family wasn't on tap for her rescue. With so much happening in just a fortnight Sania wasn't in the state of mind to go to her room. She desperately needed to let out her pain to someone she could call her's and the only person who could provide her help and lift her spirits was her best friend Nina.

Her phone was dead and she had no option to call. Thus Sania slowly walked in her crippled movements to her destination suffering the pain. By the time she reached her friend's house it was the wee morning hours.

"Sania, what happened to you? I called you so many times last night but your phone was switched off." Nina's eyes brushed down her terrorized body.

Sania emptied her tears telling everything about what happened. Nina promised her to help by any means. She told everything to her father who was a cop and the kind hearted Spark promised Sania to help in the best way they could.

On the same day Mr Spark went to the location where Sania was raped to do the investigation. He decided he would do his best to the innocent girl who was also like a daughter to him similar to Nina.

Though there were no people to listen or shield her from the atrocious assault, God was somewhere protecting her in his unique way. Opposite the area where she was abducted there was an abandoned building.

Nevertheless nothing was serviceable inside the old construction but there was a hidden camera which mystically continued to work like an Archangel. It recorded everything about Sania's barbaric assault from start to finish.

Mr Spark could immediately note this was an odious crime by the affluent. He did not want the unnecessary media attention which could only complicate the case because of the involvement of the reputed. Mr Spark processed the case under the table and concluded it was a disgraceful felony from the Walkharts, the leading textile industry agents in the world.

His hands were tied. Though it was a very sad truth to note Mr Spark absolved the precision. He could do nothing to help Sania win justice. Mr Spark advised her to bury the venomous veracity in her heart and try to lead a normal life. He also offered a counselor's help in a fatherly affection but told Sania bluntly the dirty truth that if she tried to provoke the case, the Walkharts would win her easily in the court using their reputation and she would gain nothing except heartbreak and humility.

Sania felt depressed and downhearted. She hated herself for her despondency. That night she called the number most vindicated. "I regret rejecting the covenant but the situation went beyond my control. I'm raped and thus I think I do not suit to the position anymore." For half an hour his deep noble voice on the other line kept counseling her, invoking positivity. Slowly the features on Sania changed from despair to hope and ultimately she had a grin that spread from ear to ear.

After one month Sania walked inside the head office of Walkharts with her head held high. She wasn't a courageous girl by her nature but it was the result of the magic from the mystical person who stood behind her like a hidden power. "Can I speak to Mr Walkart? My appointment was booked from this number three days ago." She placed a card (the identity of the mysterious person who is helping her) before the receptionist and spoke boldly.

The receptionist looked at the name and number on the card and went red as if she had witnessed a miracle. "Yes...yes madam." She stuttered. "You can meet Mr Walkhart now. Please take a seat while I go and inform him about your arrival." The behavior of the front desk woman completely changed viewing the card.

Who is this guy who has an unexpected sensational effect on people like they witnessed a celestial body?

Sania walked through the oak wood door inside the room of Mr Walkhart. She greeted him politely and presented to him the report of her pregnancy she had collected from the hospital two hours ago. Mr Walkhart read the report and relented at Sania. He treated her like dirt under his shoe.

His demeanor felt like he was about to kill her for her ingenuine accusation. "You are unnecessarily imposing allegations on my son and trying to damage our eminence in the society. I'm not going to tolerate this and will see to it that you go behind the bars." Mr Walkhart spoke assertively, lifting the receiver of his intercom to call the security.
