Chapter 8 Dog man

Eventually, Catherine was taken away.

And the hospital, which had been tossing and turning all morning, finally winded down after Dr. Claire was taken away.

--in an upscale apartment in the center.

As per the message Catherine left her earlier, Tony and his sister were picked up by Aurora, who took the two children back to her apartment instead of sending them to their home.

"Tony, Talitha, Auntie has to go open the store; you two stay home and watch TV. I'll get you some goodies and come back."

"OK, Aunt Aurora."

Snacky Talitha Baby said yes right away.

Tony nodded back, but the little guy went to the telephone when Aunt Aurora left, ready to call.

Talitha approached her brother with her rag doll, "What are you doing, brother?"

Tony picked up the microphone, "I'm going to call Mommy and see if she's in the hospital?"

Baby Talitha: "Huh?"

Baby Talitha's little brain is still not smart enough for her brother, and she doesn't understand how Mommy is not at the hospital. Didn't Mommy say she was going back to work at the hospital?

After looking blankly at her brother for a while, the little girl got bored and went back to watching her cartoons with her rag doll in her arms.

Ten seconds later, the phone picked up on the hospital side.

"Hello?"

"Hello, I was wondering if Dr. Claire is here today?"

"Ah, Dr. Claire. I'm sorry. She's not in today, so if you're a patient with an appointment with her, you can make another appointment with her."

The nurse gently told Tony on the phone that his mommy was not in the hospital.

How is this possible?

Where else would Mommy go if not to the hospital?

Tony didn't quite believe the words, but he knew there was no point in asking any more questions, so he climbed off the stool and headed into Aunt Aurora's study.

A few minutes later, surveillance footage of the entire Creel Hospital appeared on this study's computer.

Sure enough, as soon as those images appeared on the computer, he saw Mommy in the lobby, in the elevator, and front of Dean's office on the third floor.

Why did Mommy go in, and when she came out again, was she carried out by the men in black who had gone in?

The little one's tiny brow furrowed!

And the Hilton at the moment.

Catherine hadn't given up struggling since she was brought in; her struggles looked so weak and powerless in front of those bullish black men. In the end, she could only be forced to be taken to the top floor and pushed in after the dog men in front of her!

"Galen, I won't see you, so save yourself the trouble!"

She came in, and without bothering to survey just how luxurious and spacious this top floor was, the first thing she opened her mouth to after rubbing her pinched wrists was this.

The words fell out of Galen's mouth without a sound, but instead, a small figure stepped out from the side of the ridiculously large living room.

Catherine: "......"

"You're back? Thirty-eight minutes late, kindergarten is canceled today!"

It was a much cooler kid like Galen, with a stern little face and a cool expression, but he also carried a chill, just like his dad.

And what's even better is that he doesn't speak in a tone that's any different from this dog man!

Catherine was so stunned that, for a moment, she forgot even what she would say.

Galen ignored her and patiently came to his son, "Daddy had some things to do this morning and was delayed for a while; Daddy will make it up to you later, OK?"

Andy was expressionless, "Is this how you go back on your word with people when you sign a contract?"

Galen: "......"

Catherine: "......"

Just as one was getting pissed off at the dislike, and the other was looking dumbfounded, suddenly, the boy's gaze swept directly toward Catherine.

"Who is she?"

Catherine suddenly felt her heart beating in her chest, her ears buzzing excitedly, and her body trembling.

"Galen, why did you say I was someone he didn't relate to? I'm his mommy!!!"

"Oh yeah? But what I do know is that his mommy is dead, and her grave, all of it, is still in the cemetery."

After seeing his son leave, the man got up and went over to the wine cooler, poured himself a glass of red wine, and then, holding it in his hand, sat on the living room sofa with an elegant posture.

Didn't take Catherine seriously at all.

Catherine was furious to the point of anger, but she couldn't even retort half a sentence against his words.

Yeah, in front of this son, she's just dead, so how is she going to explain to him that she's going to make him call her mommy now? That she's not dead, but didn't want him back then?

Catherine paled and bit her lip in death.

The sneer on Galen's lips intensified when he saw it, "Come to think of it? Still want me to tell him you're his mommy?"

Catherine's whitened knuckles clenched hard again!

"Galen, so what the hell do you want? Why did you bring me here if you don't even want your son to recognize me? To make me show you? I told you, even if you die, I won't show you!"
