Chapter 2 makes you whole.

Five years later.

A famous hospital in England.

In the conference room with clear windows, Catherine, dressed in a white coat, held a case analysis report in her hand and spoke fluent English to all the medical experts present.

She cut her short ear-length hair, her beautiful and delicate features were lightly made up, her skin was snow-white, and her clear and dark watery eyes were exceptionally bright.

It's like two jewels that are radiating radiance.

"Excuse me, Dr. Claire. So, what do you say this patient can be treated without surgery? Rather, using a rehab therapist?"

"Yes, surgical means, which I also know well, won't solve the underlying problem, but if you trust me, I can use psychology in conjunction with a rehab therapist to heal him."

Kathryn turned over the case in her hand and gave an affirmative but nonchalant smile.

Claire, yes, that's her name now.

She hadn't died in the hospital five years ago; that obstetrician had saved her life by a fluke, and after that, instead of having her notify the Dawson family again, she'd declared her dead.

She'd rather die than go back to that home.

Then she came here, and in a few short years, the bright girl became a doctor of renown here, with her healing and rehabilitation practices passed down from the Brooks family.

The people in the conference room began to hesitate when they heard how sure she was.

But Catherine didn't have the patience to wait, and after looking at the watch on her wrist, she quickly left the conference room.

"Dr. Claire, picking up the kids again?"

"Right."

As Catherine hurried down the stairs, she ran into a coworker who greeted her with a bright smile and a nod.

Yes, she's going to pick up her baby.

Ten or so minutes to the local kindergarten.

"Mommy, you're finally here; Baby Talitha has been waiting for you for a long time."

Just arrived here, already a little cold kindergarten door, a small pink dress wearing a small pink dress, the head also tied a small grips little pink ball saw her and immediately ran out cheerfully.

Catherine saw it and rushed out of the car.

"I'm sorry that Mommy is late; Mommy apologizes and won't be so late again, OK?"

"It's OK. My brother's here. My brother just took lots and lots of food to Talitha."

I don't blame mommy; after being held in her arms, I told her in a milky voice that my little belly was full.

Kathryn heard it, and it warmed her heart all over again.

Brother, the other of the twins, indeed, that little one knows how to take care of his sister.

Katherine smiled, "Right, so let's go find my brother, shall we?"

"OK, Mommy."

So, a few minutes later, Catherine saw her son as well.

Only what made her sweat furiously was that this little guy was star-struck in the teacher's office again, and she didn't know what he was doing again.

"Oh my gosh, you guys, this kid who will be transferred in looks just like Tony from our kindergarten. Yay."

"Yeah, you guys!"

A teacher placed the picture beside Tony's little face in her hand.

Tony's little fox-like eyes swept over the picture.

"Where's the resemblance? Does he have the roundness of your Tony's little face?"

"No ......"

"And is he as cute as your Tony? Look at you guys. It's like a crescent moon. Is he like that?"

Tony cupped his small, invincibly handsome, and massively cute face and approached these teachers.

Then, these teachers laughed.

When you look at the little kid in this picture like that, it's not really a good likeness. Look at his stern little face. He's only five years old. He's deep and gloomy, just like an adult. How can he be as cute as the Tony they have here?

"Tony, what are you doing?"

Catherine just happened to be here and couldn't help but come in and ask after seeing the scene.

"Huh? Mommy, you're here. I'm not doing anything."

Tony, who had particularly quick reflexes, immediately returned to his grinning self when he heard his mom's voice, then jumped off his desk in a blaze of glory.

This is indeed a very smiley child.

His features resembled the man's, but he was never cold and unsympathetic like him; he was more like a little sun, always with a smile on his cool little face.

"You didn't do anything? Don't lie to me. You taught your teacher how to break the kindergarten computers last time so everyone could have a vacation; you didn't do anything bad this time."

"Er ......"

How can Mommy be like this? Why does it always seem like her smart, invincible, cool, and handsome big baby is doing something bad?

That's obviously these dumbass teachers pestering him.

"Mommy, no, really. I just taught them a game. OK, OK, Mommy, Tony's hungry. Shall we go home?"

"......"

There was no way around it, and Catherine ended up having to take the little guy with her.

When mother and son three returned home, Catherine dove headfirst into the kitchen to prepare dinner for the trio.

Only, she hadn't even cooked her meal when the call came from the hospital.

"Dr. Claire, the hospital side has agreed to hand the patient over to you, and I wanted to ask if it would be convenient for you to come over for a moment now?"

"Now?"

"Yes, the patient's family has come over and wanted to check in with you as soon as they heard the hospital's decision."

The nurse also expressed helplessness over the phone.

This kind of patient is indeed a headache; the common disease of rich people is that no matter where they go, they want people to obediently listen to them as if the whole world is their territory.

Catherine finally agreed.

"Tony, Mommy still has to go to the hospital, so can you stay home and take your sister to dinner with you?"

"Yes, you can, Mommy. You don't have to worry; I'll take care of my sister."
