Chapter 5 5

CHAPTER 5 | We Won!

Sir Jax is currently maneuvering the car down to the underground of the mall where we will park. I sighed while tightly holding the seatbelt. I don't know why it seems that my chest has been bombarded a while ago due to the strong impact of it. maybe it's because of his presence. I'm not really used to being taken with them every time the two of them go out with their son, I only went with them now because of Lily's wishes.

"Daddy, let's head to Blue Magic first!"

I saw Sir Jax glance at it in the rearview before looking at the side mirror again while maneuvering. The veins on his arms are visible and I couldn't help but feel tense. I looked away and pretended to observe the outside.

"How 'bout we'll eat first, hm?" he asked as he was busy dealing with the car.

"Okay, then we'll go to Blue Magic after?" Lily politely asked her father. Sir Jax didn't answer and just grinned.

when he parked the car, I then started to remove the seatbelt and went out first to take care of Lily in the back. I even flinched when I felt the sudden heat as the hot air from outside landed on my skin. I opened the backseat to help Lily get down. She was over the moon and excited as she jumped out of the car.

"Don't jump. You might get bumped," I reprimanded her while taking her small bag pack from the side. She didn't listen and ran to her father instead. Sir Jax quickly grabbed his son's hand and then they walked towards the elevator. I followed them without saying anything.

"Daddy, there's a big rabbit stuffed toys at Blue Magic. last time I told Kuya Basti to buy it but Seia didn't let us buy it," Lily suddenly reported causing my eyes to widen at her.

"It's not that I don't want to buy it. It's too expensive, Lily," I whined at the boy. It was too late when I realized that her daddy was right next to her. so when I turned to Sir Jax, his eyebrows met me. I bit my lower lip and gulped. "I mean, the toy is so expensive, sir."

I saw how the side of his lips rose as if he's refraining from smiling. later I saw him nod and then slowly look down at his son.

"Lily," he said calmly. "Seia is right. You can't just easily get what you want just because you want it, and you can't just also spend your money on things that are not that necessary."

"But I badly want that stufftoy, daddy," his muzzle lengthened again while staring at his daddy apologetically. I winced and rolled my eyes.

Lily's eyes sparkled as she stared at her father. Sir Jax just sighed in the end. unable to refuse the almost begging child.

"Okay," said by him, all defeated. "But I have to check it first, okay?"

"It's okay! Thank you, daddy!"

First we ate at an Italian Restaurant like Sir Jax wanted. he paid for the entire bill, and I'm telling you, he's a one day millionaire! I almost softened when I heard that the food the three of us ate was twenty thousand, but it didn't seem like he had it.

"Daddy, Blue Magic! Let's go to Blue Magic!" Lily excitedly pointed to the toy stall that we could see nearby. They have been walking and entering the stalls while I have been quietly following them. I already had two paper bags after we bought shoes for Lily at a stall. we've been walking for almost half an hour and Lily still doesn't seem tired because her teaching is still steady.

"Daddy, faster! Blue Magic!" It even pulled Sir Jax, causing the man to stand slightly.

"Ezili, be careful," he said but still pulled away in the end. As soon as she entered the stall, Lily immediately ran in the direction of the Rabbit Stufftoys that she wanted her father to buy.

"Daddy! Here!" she screamed excitedly.

Sir Jax immediately went to his daughter. I followed them. I started looking around. Maybe he didn't notice but some saleslady and other shoppers inside the stall were following him with their eyes. Others are still taking pictures of it secretly. maybe they think that Sir Jax looks like an actor because of his aura.

CHAPTER 5.1 | We Won!

I mentally agreed with them.

"What do you like here?" I heard Sir Jax ask Lily when I finally got close to them. the stuffed toys are already in front of them and it looks like the naughty child is shopping for them.

"Here, sir. These are the new arrivals stufftoys," Sir Jax and I turned almost at the same time to the saleslady who suddenly appeared from the side. Sir Jax glanced at his daughter again.

"Daddy, I want the rabbit one," Lily pouted her lips. It stares at the stuffed toys in front of it with different colors and sizes.

"You probably love the color pink?" the saleslady said kindly to Lily to show off. I left my lips while looking down at the boy in front of us.

She likes the purple one. I mentally uttered on myself.

"The purple one, daddy," instead of answering, Lily looked up at Sir Jax and scolded the woman because of her slight embarrassment. I saw her make an awkward smile before she turned to Sir Jax.

"You like the purple one?" Sir Jax is now busy checking the stuffed toys in his hand. It was very serious while investigating it carefully. It is enough to ask how it was done. he's very hands on when it comes to choosing what's best for his daughter. "This one?"

"Yes, daddy, please!" The child is excited.

The saleslady and I looked at each other and I smiled at her but it looks like she still hasn't gotten over her embarrassment because even I was still frowning.

"What do you think, Seiya?" I almost jumped when I heard Sir Jax suddenly calling me. I didn't look at it myself. He was referring to the toys he was holding. I sighed while staring at his hand. Sir Jax kept looking as if he was also waiting for what I had to say.

"S-sir, because it seems too hairy. Lily might be snoring," I answered in a small voice. I was nervous because she might think that my question was too pointless. When I glanced at Sir Jax, he seemed to be having second thoughts now.

"I agree with you," He shrugged and turned to face the saleslady instead. "Is there another one that isn't so furry? Same stufftoy but doesn't have much fur."

"Y-yes, sir."

We waited for a while because I think they took some more stock before Lily's toy was finally sold. so the ending is that the child cannot dance with joy while holding his newly purchased toy. He didn't even wait for us to get home because he immediately carried it and took it out of the wrapping.

"Daddy, I want ice cream," Lily cheered in the middle of our walk when she saw a child eating ice cream passing by. I immediately roamed my eyes to find the nearest ice cream shop and I saw one nearby.

I walked closer to Sir Jax.

"Sir, I'll just buy it."

He stared at me. "No, it's okay. Find a seat with my daughter. I'll buy the ice cream."

Sir Jax went straight to the store where he partied while I held Lily to look for a place to sit nearby.

"Let's find a seat," I said.

"Seia, look at my toys," he boasted as I pulled him by the wrist.

"It's nice, isn't it? It was nice when you chose," I jested as we headed to a vacant seat nearby. Lily and I sat there first and I put down the paper bags we were holding while we waited for Sir Jax. I glanced in the direction of where it was bought from and I wanted to laugh when I saw it patiently standing in line and seemingly not caring about the women who were whispering to it on the side. He's just looking ahead as if he doesn't care about the people around him.

"Look at your daddy, Lily," I touched the child who was now busy playing with his stuffed toys. "He looks like the owner of the ice cream shop."

The boy stopped playing for a moment and looked at his daddy.

"Are you making fun of my daddy?" he asked me flatly causing me to look down at him.

"Huh? H-no!"

"You're smirking while saying that," she pouted. Sir Jax arrived just in time with the purchased ice cream.

"Here," he reached out to Lily then handed one to me. at first I was shy to accept it but I took it anyway since he also bought his.

"Daddy, Seia is making fun of you," the poor boy immediately reported, causing me to look at him. "She said that you look like the owner of the ice cream shop."

My eyes widened and I looked at the man on the side. "S-sir, no," I laughed raw.

"Liar," Lily insisted.

I quickly shook my head and then secretly glared at the boy. "Sir, I promise."

"Really? She said that?" Sir Jax chuckled and glanced at me. my eyes widened when our gaze met. My cheeks instantly flushed causing me to avert my eyes.

CHAPTER 5.2 | We Won!

"Yes, daddy!" Lily responded sarcastically with her tongue in her ice cream. I didn't speak anymore but I also couldn't turn my head to the man I felt attracted to until now, he didn't take his eyes off me.

"Funhouse!" I was startled when Lily suddenly screamed. I saw the other people walking looked at us and laughed at the boy. "Daddy, fun house!"

Lily pulled her daddy into the funhouse and Sir Jax couldn't do anything but watch his son. I just followed them quietly. I just followed them as we went inside. There were only a few people so we didn't have a hard time cramming. because sometimes when Kuya Baste and I go here before going home, Lily is partying here at the funhouse and there are often too many people so we can't get in. So when he saw that there were only a few people today, the rebuke was very happy.

I couldn't help but look down when I felt Lily grab my hand.

"Seiya,"

"O-oh?"

"Let's play!"

I felt Sir Jax's glance but I just killed malice.

My eyes narrowed at him. Is this one planning something again? "What do you wanna play?"

"Basketball! You won last time, but I won't let you win this time." she uttered firmly and arched her brow. I chuckled and shook my head.

"What if I win again?"

"Hm . . ." Lily said, causing Sir Jax to smile. "If you win I'll help you prepare my snacks tomorrow."

I bit my bottom lip to stop laughing. It seems that that thing is still in his favor!

"And if I lose?" I tilted my head.

"If you lose, you'll have a dare."

"D-dare? Wait, I guess I'm a loser?"

"No!" she exclaimed. "Daddy! Seia doesn't want to play with me."

Can I kvrutin this child when his daddy is not looking?

We played basketball. We dropped tokens before playing while Sir Jax was just there on the sidelines, watching. Lily was standing right on the basketball base but she still couldn't reach the very basket so I couldn't stop laughing. I just keep shooting while he can't paint his face in irritation. That's why I always win against her. because he couldn't reach the ring itself so he couldn't win-win with me.

"You'll lose," I prodded to make him frown even more. In the end he flipped the ball into the ring before scowling.

"Daddy!" she was about to cry which made me stop from playing. I faced them both. "Daddy, I can't shoot the ball! I'll lose again."

Sir Jax immediately knelt down to care for the crying child. He began consoling his daughter by wiping her tears.

"Shh, baby."

"Daddy," she squeaked. "Help me! Daddy."

"Okay, Lily, stop crying," he comforted her. "Here, look, daddy will help you."

In the end, Sir Jax and I played basketball and then Lily got involved because she couldn't reach the ring.

Last three seconds and. . .

"We won!" those next to us looked when Sir Jax suddenly shouted. "We won, baby! Daddy won!"

"Yeah!" she dramatically clapped her hands and jumped out of excitement. "Yay! We won! We won!"

I scratched my head involuntarily and then slightly stepped away from the two.

we ate dinner inside the mall before we headed straight home. It was late when we finally got home and Lily almost collapsed in her father's arms because of exhaustion. I also felt exhausted and tired because of what we did the whole day. I feel like I did twice as much work here at home as we did at the mall. Kuya Baste greeted us when we got out of the car to help. Sir Jax had picked up Lily because she had been sleeping soundly in the car. I followed them to get the things.

Sir Jax headed upstairs while I walked pass through the living room. I was about to go to the kitchen when I heard him call my name.

"Seia," I stopped for a moment to stare at it. the man was halfway up the stairs while carrying Lily.

"Sir?"

He stared at me for a couple of seconds and gulped as if he was having a hard time to say something. I thought he'd tell me to do something.

"Thank you for today," he sincerely said without leaving my eyes. I can see how his Adam's apple raises his chin while staring at me.

A feeling I couldn't name quickly crept through my body at that moment. It was a foreign feeling for me. All I know is that I'm very happy right now. I'm happy that he appreciates what I do for Lily.

"It's nothing, sir," I smiled at him sweetly. I saw how his lips pursed.

He flicked his tongue against his lips and smiled too. "Goodnight, Seiya."
