Chapter 5 The Past

Instantly the atmosphere became tense. Lili's mother firmly rejected this marriage. Not only Lili, everyone questioned Mrs. Linda's attitude, who did not consider Mr. Raharja to be an honorable figure at all.

"Okay, it's up to you. About you think of me. I will make an offer here," Mr. Raharja lost his patience a little.

"Relli, listen to me. I will give you the amount that you need. Forget about this wedding," Papa immediately offered this to Relli.

"Wait a minute, Uncle. If this marriage fails, what about me?" Lili was afraid that her plan would fail.

"Okay, what's your problem?" Mr. Raharja asked.

"I want to study at college," answered Lili immediately.

"Only that?" Mr. Raharja was surprised that Lili's wishes were so easy, he thought that this girl had urgent financial problems.

Seeing Mr. Raharja's questionable expressions and sentences made Miss Linda even more humiliated.

"Listen Lili, it's useless for you, helped him. This will actually make you bound by this Master. You'd better try it yourself," once again, Mama reminded her daughter.

Mr. Raharja felt like he had been slapped with all of Linda's sentences and the expressions she showed. He didn't expect Linda to dislike him so much.

"Linda... Please, I try not to cause conflict in this meeting. I will indeed solve this problem" Mr. Raharja lost his patience.

"You see, Lili. His true nature is starting to show, be careful. I think Mom changed her mind, it seems like this will be good for you. You can learn to be sneaky," Linda immediately looked at Lili.

"Okay, I will pay for your college. Directly with nominal terms and without any conditions," Mr. Supraja chose to continue the conversation with Lili rather than be provoked by Linda's words.

Meanwhile, Relli has been paying attention to her father's attitude all along. Have lots of questions. He couldn't understand all his father's offers.

"Wait a minute... What actually happened?" Relli interrupted the conversation.

"My father immediately wants to give all his money and also cover the tuition fees. What is your real relationship in the past?!" Relli's eyes turned to his father and Lili's mother.

"And you Kevin, why are you also going to give me one billion if I want to cancel this wedding?!" Suddenly those eyes moved to Kevin.

Mr. Raharja immediately became embarrassed by Relli's question, as did Kevin. There are too many mysteries in the meeting of these two families.

Lili also felt that something was strange. Her mother was never harsh and always gentle. However, in this meeting, he was very clever at being sarcastic and saying hurtful sentences.

Besides, everyone seems to disapprove of this marriage. Same with Relli, he also wants to feel like there is something hidden.

"I doubt that. There will be no gaps, everything here is professional. Isn't it?" Mrs. Linda answered Relli's question with a sarcastic laugh.

"Linda... please! I'm not that evil. In the past, I never wanted to make you suffer," Mr. Raharja began discussing the past.

"Did I say that you were a bad person, did I terrorize you, did I take revenge on you?!" answered Mrs. Linda.

"What past, what's wrong with you guys?!" Lili started to get curious.

Seeing Lili's expression, which was suspicious of something, made Mrs. Linda choose to end this meeting.

"We'd better go home, we'll find a way for go to college. God will definitely provide a way," Mrs. Linda then stood up.

"Well, okay. All the family, please think again," said Kevin, who was also confused about this situation.

"Linda... please. Let me help your daughter," once again Mr. Raharja sulked.

"Just forgeted. This meeting is a waste of time," replied Mrs. Linda as she left the place.

Lili also stood up and ran after her mother without saying anything. Meanwhile, Relli was still sitting in her place with a sharp gaze directed at her father.

"Can you explain now, Papa?" said Relli who saw that her father was embarrassed.

"That's all in the past. It's better to just forget it," relli's father answered.

"Listen Relli, I will give you whatever you want. As long as you forget about this marriage problem, you will also get the inheritance later."

Quickly, his father made the decision to avoid this marriage. Unfortunately, this made Relli even more curious. He knew that his father never gave up on anything.

"No, I will continue with this marriage. Besides, you won't give you anything for free, I don't want to be tied down to anything."

"Relli, please. This time, help me. I promise I won't bring up money or anything else in the future," Mr. Raharja remained adamant.

"Did you have any sin against to Lili's mother?" Relli concluded.

"Relli, stop it!! No need to discuss any more. You have to stop this wedding and this is an order!!" his father yelled.

"Kevin, listen. We already trust each other and like family, don't let me replace, the legal consultant in our extended family. There is, no wedding!"

Mr. Raharja looked very firm and serious in his words. He then walked away after threatening that two children.

"Wow... look, this is the first time I've seen my father act like that. It seems like, you also know something, Mr. Kevin?" Relli's sharp eyes turned to Kevin.

"Are you crazy? You think I was born faster than your father, so I know everything?" answered Kevin, who was also confused about this situation.

"If you don't know, then why do you want to spend one billion?" Relli reminded again.

"I lent you the money. Not giving it to you," answered Kevin.

"Don't you know, I never give back what I borrow from you? Did you forget?" Relli didn't want to lose.

"It was just a stupid thing when we was little. Why do I remember it?"

"Stupid thing... fine. What about some letters from school that we give to our parents. So, we can have more pocket money?" Relli remembered their previous mischief again.

"Relli, don't talk like a child. What exactly are you trying to say?!" Kevin felt that there was something wrong with Relli's sentence.

"Little child..., yes, that's right. I was always the little kid and you could control."

"Enough, what do you really want to ask?!" Kevin also lost his temper.

"Why is there a follow-up testament? Why wasn't this letter read when it was just me and Lili?" Relli also suspects something.

"You made a fake, so that this marriage wouldn't happen. Isn't it ...?" Accused Relli.

"Relli...! This time you went too far," Kevin did not accept the accusation.

"Didn't you hear a word about Professional player, Cunning, tied like a dog, caged animal. Isn't that what Lilli's mother said?"

"Mr. Kevin, who are you working with?" Relli studied all the words spoken by Mrs. Linda.
