Chapter 6: The arrival of guests.

Yunita had leukemia that was eating away at her body, making my second daughter prone to fainting, sometimes there was a lot of blood coming out of her nose, ears or mouth, making me feel heartless to see my second daughter.

The children were always my shield and I always told Naya that at least we would survive for the children, in fact it succeeded in discouraging Naya, especially when I told her that I would cover the costs of her leukemia and her life.

"The cost of Yunita's treatment, the cost of your life, I'll cover. If you no longer love me as your husband, please hold on to our daughters, I promise I'll fix this situation if you're disappointed that I'm being unfair, I promise I'll be at your house for a week. Keep our agreement," I pleaded.

I knelt before Naya, the next second Calista did the same, I told Calista to stand up, because this was my problem with my wife, but Calista was crying softly and asked Naya not to sue me for divorce.

You see, Calista had a good heart, but Naya seemed to be jealous of Calista.

Naya finally relented, and of course she pressured me to keep my promise to be home one week and one week for Calista's allowance, I didn't mind, the most important thing was that Naya kept our household together.

I went through my activities together at the first wife's house, but my heart was still set on Calista.

"Thank you for giving Mas a chance," I said as I enjoyed the food Naya had given me, and she nodded with a faint smile. It was different from the smile that Calista was wearing.

"I hope you really keep your promise, and this week I want you to spend time with Yesi, I'm sure she misses you a lot," she pleaded softly.

"Okay!" I said with a big smile and took her hand and massaged the back of her hand, assuring her that I would try to be fair.

"If you deny me this opportunity, get ready for me to sue," Naya threatened, and I smiled and pinched her cheek.

"Since when did you become this fierce? Honey ... please forgive me. I know that your days may be hard, but I ask for your understanding," I reassured Naya.

She was silent, ah never mind ... it was so lazy to see her expression like this, she said she wanted me to be beside her, but when I was beside her, why didn't Naya give a beautiful smile, which should make me want to linger beside her.

"Tomorrow Yesi comes back from her camp, I hope you really spend time with her. It's okay if I don't go because I'll look after Yunita at home," she reminded me, nodding in agreement.

"Okay!"

As we were enjoying our meal, the doorbell rang. Naya got up from our seats and the woman walked towards the main door.

I had no idea who was visiting.

A few minutes later, my eyes rounded when I saw Calista walking towards me.

"Hi Mas..." Calista greeted me with a bright smile, in her hands were many plastic bags that I guessed were food.

I also looked back to see that Calista had brought a waiter with her and was carrying a lot of food, while Naya was silent and looked at the items Calista was carrying.

"What are you doing here?"

Naya asked with a cold face, leaving Calista frozen in place. Calista's face became sad.

Oh my God... Naya, instead of thanking Calista for her kindness, asked such a question.

What an ignorant first wife!
