Chapter 4 Tangled hearts

It was getting extremely difficult every full moon to go to Adirondack Mountain, but I had no choice but to , just seeing the face of my uncle, him living freely and also the fact he is the Alpha of our pack made me want to stab him multiple times on this damn frigging heart, that is if he had one at all. In order not to spoil my master plan, because it was stated that in order to dethrone an Alpha male of the pack there were protocols and processes to follow and if not followed would lead to death and given that I was a female it made the whole process more difficult. "Fuck the stupid laws".

After the third night of the full moon all werewolves were to return back to the city. As I was leaving with Isa, my uncle called out to me. Ignoring the impulse to punch him in the face, I rolled it off with a smile giving an excuse that I had somewhere to be at that time. I really do not know how others do it, but I do not know how to fake around people I despise.

A cure for the infection was yet to be provided as search for the vessel had yielded no positive turnout. It was as though the vessel was intentionally hiding from us. I also I'm desperate to find the vessel and have relentlessly gone round town trying to gather Intel. I have loved visiting Montreal city's library ever since I was a child. I'm certain this was as a result of my mother's influence while she was alive. She loved books a lot, and I caught her character in that aspect. I loved the library and I think it was mostly because it has been one of the closest things to home.

On getting to the library, as usual Mr. David Martinez welcomed me and did not bother to follow the regular process, for regular customers. He allowed me inside to get whatever book that catches my eye. My reason for being here today was to find out more about the vessel. Going around I saw and selected the book titled" The blood moon and earth" that was the closest story to us that I could find. Reading through, I still found my answers unanswered, leaving the library in an unhappy state. I wanted to find out more about our infection.

Getting home, I found my door slightly open. Isa did not tell me she was coming over and Dom didn't inform me he was coming either. On entering the house, I called out to find if anyone was inside, but no one answered. After checking all the rooms and balcony without finding anyone. I decided to retire to my room. My room was usually dark as my interior designer made sure of that according to my taste. I was pulling my clothes then left with just my panties only to be startled.

"Looking for me"

I heard a masculine voice, looking up I saw Benjamin, almost naked on my bed.

"Tf! What are you doing here Ben?"

Throwing his shirt I found on the floor on him I said "put that on, you look stupid and silly" He tried coming over to me which I moved backwards then with annoyance after trying to no avail, he picked the cloth and as he was wearing it, Dominic walked in.

"Bianca! What are you doing?"

On hearing his voice, I wanted to explain, but he rushed over to Ben then punched him on his face, I stepped in their middle to stop Dominic before Benjamin retaliated, after which I was not given a chance to explain as he stormed out the house.

"Dom, it's not what you think" I yelled behind him.

"What exactly am I thinking? I should have pursued Benjamin when I had the chance. Now it fucking looks like I screwed with him. Oh crap!"

"Who was that Bianca? I had no idea you were seeing someone," Benjamin said rubbing his face where Dominic punched him.

I didn't even have time to deal with his nonsense, I just told him two words. " Get out!". Which he did, then I went out in search of Dom, he was sure furious when he left.

"Was he ever going to trust me again, but he really thinks I would cheat on him,sigh"

I went to his house but he was not there. Also, trying to call him, he ignored my calls. I texted Isabella filling her on the details of what happened. She was the only one in the pack that knew him in person as the other pack members have not met him before, aside Benjamin who did today. I love keeping my personal life private. So it was not entirely Benjamin's fault for making a move on me again, he clearly did not know. Looking down at my phone it was 5:34pm,I drove without direction starting to run out of ideas as to where Dominic might be, with me almost giving up that was when I got his text. That he was home and went for a walk to clear his head.

Getting there, I knelt by his side, he was sitting in his garage. Then I tried explaining to him what happened he was still angry so he wasn't in the mood to hear it. Which made him yell "what would have happened if I hadn't walk in, you would have fallen for him charm instead" he said.

This made my chest ache and my hormones just started acting up, tears then rolled off my cheeks.

" Stop crying honey, I did not mean to yell at you, I know that you would never cheat on me but it is him who I don't trust. Imagine he even entered your house when you were not around." he said

I clearly understood where Dominic was coming from and I know how I would react if I met him in that situation. He hugged me and kissed my forehead stopping me from crying and then carried he inside his house. I freshened up, texted Isabella updating her, then I slept off immediately.

The next day, I texted Benjamin to meet up with me by the city's Park, where the local cuisine restaurant was located. When he arrived there, I went straight to the point of calling him, I warned him never to try such behavior again and accept that I could ever see us as anything more than friends. And she should end whatever mindset he had in his head to make me his. Isabella was like an brother to me. We all grew up in the pack and I never and would never see him as something more. On clearing that, I walked away from him heading over to Isabella's house.

Her laughter filled the room, sounding like a wounded elephant in labor, Isabella continued laughing, " So Bianca you went from not having anything to call a love life, to getting involved in a love triangle" and she went on laughing.

"Stop laughing, or I'll be tickle you until you pee on yourself" responding to her.

"Not fair, don't get all annoyed. I just found it amusing, Bianca the lover girl"

And with that I picked the container of Pringles, throwing it at her, that mf continued laughing and started eating the Pringles.

"So what's the update on my uncle?Any new information on how we can defeat him?" I asked about changing the topic.

"Nope, he is starting to suspect being tailed, so for now we should take things a bit slow, it's not going to be an easy fight taking him down, that's why we have to plan it very well, taking cautions." he replied saying.

"Well, to be honest I'm running out of patience, I just want him to choke on his sins already, alright then, keep me posted. I'm heading over to Dominic's he texted that he has a bad flu with headaches" I said standing up to leave.

I went over to Dominic's house, carrying his favorite chocolates and I bought some aspirin and other drugs to help clear the flu. Only for me to get to the house and rang the bell, with Dom not coming to answer, I pushed the door then found out it was opened then I entered the house. I was amazed to what I saw, rose petals were on the floor with the design making a path to the back of the house which I followed only to see a table set with two chairs and it filled with dinner, wine and my favorite chocolate. Dominic was still grilling the chicken when he noticed me. "Happy 7 months anniversary honey". He said with the widest grin on my face. "I love you Dom, I said while getting all teary. I'm relieved that you aren't sick" I answered. I took the flowers and the chocolate then tiptoed to give him a peck. "Is that all I get?" he said teasing me. "Yes, I'm still mad at you" I responded. "What for?" he asked. "For lying to me that you were ill" I answered.

"Okay boo, what can I do to make you forgive me, what can I do to make my princess less angry" he completed saying.

"Mhmmm, what can I make you do" I said looking up as if I was trying to come up with something. "Ahah! You'd spend the rest of the evening with me watching my top 2 favorite romance movies with me, Titanic and the notebook" I told him.

"But..." he said interrupting

"No buts!" I said grinning like a 5 years old kid.

"Yes, ma'am. I'd order us pizza,popcorn and drinks then,right after our dinner" he said, "Perfect, I'm starving honestly" I responded. He is a really good cook that for sure I can say, I complimented him for that. We chatted for a long time before entering the house then we freshened up and it was time to watch the movies I picked earlier.

We watched and completed the two movies after hours of hearing Dominic whine and complain, I found it cute and at the same time funny. While we were cuddling in silence. Dominic then told me he loved me while kissing my forehead.

"I love you too Dom," I answered. We cuddled until we both fell asleep. Waking up in the morning to the light rays of the sun escaping the curtains. What are we teenagers, I found myself grinning. I loved it here, I love the way we love, I love us. And I hope for us to be happy this way forever.
