Chapter 1.

As the statement goes, "ignorance is bliss". It exists as a double-edged sword, making it not entirely true. The price that comes with not knowing at all and then making a wrong move, would not be counted only as a mistake, but one would definitely have to suffer the consequences for it.

In the Southern part of Montreal Canada, Werewolves and Mundanes ( Humans) lived together. It had been that way since the ancient times of Montreal City's history, to prevent the werewolves from feeding on humans an agreement was made that the werewolves would go to the Adirondack Mountains, which was 114 km away from the city anytime a full moon was to appear and last for 3-4 days. However, humans were ignorant of the knowledge that they coexisted with the mystical creature.The werewolves suffered from an infection caused by the blood moon, which was responsible for the spontaneous transformation of the werewolves' even in the absence of a full moon.

Bianca woke up naked this time on the sidewalks of Montreal City's Coffee shop. She was lucky that before she woke up before anyone had begun their daily activities to see her. This was just Tuesday and also the fifth time that week it was happening. The infection provoked an abnormal transformation rate, making the werewolves change into the creature some nights, even without a full moon. Immediately she went back home she called his best friend Isabella and the Luna of the Crystal pack, compared to Bianca she was weak but also smart and she was the first person Bianca called when faced by a problem. Bianca told her to come to her house as soon as possible, to which she agreed.

Bianca Smith, at a tender age, experienced the murder of her parents,so all her life she desired to get revenge on the person who killed her parents. She was well aware that the traitor was a member of the park but could not pinpoint who exactly did it. The only good thing was that her parents left enough funds,and she was their only child (old money kind of wealth) meaning even though she does not work for a day she would still have enough to live on and pass on to generations to come. But, she didn't want to stay idle, so she started baking as a hobby and a coping mechanism.

"The infection is getting out of our control," Bianca said to her friend Isabella.

"I don't think it's the infection that made you wander off at night Bianca, without remembering how you woke up at the coffee shop, maybe you had too much to drink last night" Isabella replied. Playfully hitting Isabella's arm Bianca replied " Stop being a jerk, you know I don't drink, and this is serious Isa!. Waking up naked on the streets is traumatizing as it is" I replied to her saying.

"Sorry, I was just messing with you, when it happened to me, you thought I was drunk. Don't get yourself worked up Bianca and well it's a good thing no one saw you, we would find out the reason for our spontaneous transformation tonight yeah,so calm down" Isabella ended up saying, with Bianca nodding in agreement.

The Crystal pack Alpha called in an emergency meeting that night, held at the top of Adirondack Mountain. The reason for the meeting was because of the infection affecting the normal lives of the werewolves, interrupting their activities. Matthew Davis, the leader of the Crystal wolf pack, was also an uncle to Bianca, then stopped to speak as the werewolf pack listened in silence.

" You all know the reason I called this meeting. It has come to my knowledge that most of us are experiencing challenges with our wolf form due to the infection. I called this meeting to inform all of you that the reason why this is happening is because the vessel exists and has been existing for some time now here without our knowledge". They started to murmur between themselves upon hearing this. "Silence!" Matthew shouted. "We are running out of time as the dated time for the final blood moon to appear is coming near and the vessel needs to be found,so we all can be cured from this infection. Everyone be on alert. We have to find this vessel and complete the ritual to liberate us. And that's for all tonight" with that they all howled in unison.
