"Where have you been?" asked my mom with concern.
"Sorry, mom. I was in a hurry because it was too late. So I didn't ask your permission," Salsa sat on the sofa in the living room next to her mother.
"Mas, don't forget to take your medicine," said Salsa as she saw Kairo enter the room.
"Medicine? Is Cairo sick?" asked Mamah frowning.
"Yes, Mah, he spilled hot coffee. It's all because of Farah. I'm the one who's bothered," said Salsa while playing with her cell phone.
"Spilled coffee on your hand?"
"On my thigh."
"Oh my gosh, that must have really hurt. How the hell is Farah, she's so incompetent to serve her husband," said Sinta angrily.
"Yes Mah, it's incompetent. I rubbed cooking oil on Kairo's thigh. He said it would heal his wound. That's really strange of Farah. What a dumb kid," said Salsa with a cynical look on her face.
"Geez, it's a good thing you took Kairo to the doctor. Now it's better to take the doctor's medicine and apply the doctor's ointment. No need to use the cooking oil event," said Sinta firmly.
"Yes Mah," replied Salsa, whose eyes were still watching the phone screen.
"But you've checked all of Farah's health, right? What mamah means. Farah is not infertile like you, right?" Sinta asked with a mocking look on her daughter-in-law's face.
Salsa stopped playing with her phone and looked at Sinta.
"Are infertile people really disgusting to you? That's how you talk to me," said Farah with annoyance.
"Yes, that's the reality. How about now you ask about Farah? She's all healthy, right?"
"Already mah, I've checked her with the doctor," said Salsa confidently.
"So where are the results? I want to see them. I don't want Kairo to marry a barren woman again," said mamah in a stern voice.
"I have it, I'll give it to you so you'll be satisfied," said Salsa irritably. She immediately went into her room. Her heart ached when her mother-in-law talked about her being barren.
"Basic! I'm so old that I still like to julitin me. I wonder what the hell you eat with your mouth. Keep eating chili," said Salsa in her heart with annoyance.
It was late at night when Salsa was fast asleep. Kairo acted with caution. He looked at Salsa's face. His wife had fallen asleep. Immediately, his hand swiftly searched for the doctor's letter stating that Farah could get pregnant.
"I have to find that letter and keep it well," said Cairo, quickly searching the closet.
"I finally found it," said Cairo quietly in his heart. He immediately put the paper into his bag.
The next day he went to a doctor he had known for a long time. He would make a big plan so that he could save Farah from inhumane treatment.
"Are you in a hurry?" asked Salsa, who was munching on breakfast bread.
"Yes, I don't need breakfast, I have a meeting," said Kairo quickly.
"Yes mas, be careful," said Salsa, smiling sweetly as her husband gave her forehead a quick peck.
"I'm leaving first," Cairo kissed his mother's cheek.
The man in the suit quickly got into his car. He didn't want to waste any time.
"Please doctor Fandi, this is really important for me," Kairo said pleadingly.
"Okay, but you have to bear everything if something happens."
"Yes doctor Fandi. I will definitely take responsibility. I'll transfer it now," Cairo said quickly.
***
"Have we met yet?" asked Sinta with annoyance looking into Salsa's room.
"Not yet, just a minute. I'll look for it first," said Salsa, shouting a little.
"Duh, where is that letter? Why did it disappear?" Salsa asked anxiously.
She searched the cupboard. Drawers and all the drawers in her house.
"Duh, it's not there. Where else should I look?" Asked Sinta with an angry face.
"Anyway, you have to see the letter for yourself. If you lose the letter, you won't believe that Farah is pregnant. If you lose it, you'll have to go with Farah if she wants to see a doctor," I said firmly.
"People have already been checked. If Salsa is checked again, all her health will be checked. So I'll have to pay again," said Salsa angrily.
"When you put things in, don't just put them in," said Sinta with widened eyes.
"Damn it," said Salsa in her heart. Her face looked grim.
***
"Tomorrow we should all go to the doctor to check on Farah," Kairo said firmly.
"I also don't want to marry Farah and find out that she's infertile," said Cairo firmly.
"Let's all go to the doctor now," said Sinta firmly.
Now everyone was in the car. So was Farah. She felt very excited. She was afraid something would happen to her.
"Oh my God, why does mamah Sinta have such a heart for me. I've already had a fertility test. I was also declared infertile. Why do they want me to go to the doctor for another fertility test?" Farah asked herself. Her hands were holding her own fingers. There was a feeling of anxiety in her heart.
After arriving quickly. Sinta herself brought Farah into the doctor's room.
"Mamah, what are you doing? Farah has already been tested for everything. I want to be tested again," Salsa said with annoyance.
"You just obey mamah. Besides, the doctor I recommended is top-notch. So there's no way the test will be wrong."
"I'd rather see the doctor who examined Farah yesterday. It's a long way from here," said Salsa irritably.
"You just calm down. Don't talk too much," Kairo said firmly.
After a few days the test results came back and it was a shock to Sinta. She couldn't accept this fact.
"All the test results say you are infertile Farah!" Sinta said with wide eyes.
Farah could only sob in the grand living room. The atmosphere was tense.
Kairo could only remain silent. Because this was all for Farah's good. So he lied to Doctor Fandi.
"You are also incompetent in finding a wife for Cairo. You're a waste of money salsa!" Sinta said angrily.
"But mah, doctor Fandi must be wrong. I've had Farah checked by other doctors before and all the results were good. Farah can get pregnant," said Salsa, trying to convince her mother-in-law.
"Alah, there's no need to talk back and forth. If it's a fact that Farah is barren, she's barren. Now I'm asking you to divorce Farah and Kairo. Take care of your divorce immediately!"
