Chapter 4 4

When Trixie arrived at her condo, she placed her backpack on her study table. His condo is big and the things inside are almost purple in color. But in order not to look weird because its structure is only one color, he added the color white.

He also has a sofa and a TV set. That if he has free time, he watches a love story which is his favorite genre even though he is a hopeless romantic. She doesn't have a boyfriend yet.

She is not a lesbian because she is not attracted to men even though she has seen and met many models and actors. There's really nothing for him to enter into a relationship, not because he's afraid of commitment.

He really focuses on his shoes and he is increasing his collections.

His condo has a balcony so he opened the curtain. Its window is glass so that the whole of Manila can be clearly seen from where he stands.

She couldn't help but think that the man for her might be in that place. Because he hasn't met yet.

"Where is your place there, future hubby?" he asked with a laugh.

He has in mind to have his own family and have children but not right now because he hasn't met anyone yet and he knows he won't regret the person he chooses to love and be with forever. It's his first time to fall in love so he's also afraid of getting hurt if he chooses the wrong person.

But for him, there is nothing wrong with falling in love with the wrong person. You're not really meant for each other so you won't be the ones to stay together. Because we know that something is really meant for us, what is meant for us, like that.

He entered his walk-in closet. He seemed thrilled to see his collection again.

"My sexy babies," she uttered and ran her finger over the racks where it was placed. Different designs and colors so it's really nice to look at. "You have a new sister, babies. Just wait for Mommy and I will give birth," he foolishly promised then he laughed loudly.

Before he even forgot that he had to get ready, he entered the bathroom to take a shower. He remembered that he told his Mommy that he was on her way even though he was still in the condo at this time.

"It's just quick, eh!" he whispered in his mind but he was soaking in his bathtub.

"I'm not sure, Railey. Because this is a marriage proposal and I'm sure Molly will answer me," Wade just said. He really didn't want to disturb his mind because he was really wondering what if.

Then he has feelings for her, his feelings for a woman don't change quickly but only Molly. In his entire life, he has only loved one woman, so he can say that this is also impossible. He still doesn't want to be unfaithful to his girlfriend.

"Have you talked about getting married when the time is right?" his friend asked him.

He remembered the times he was with Molly and they talked about something about her old age. The times when they were just in a relationship.

"We will get married when we are both ready and when our careers are good. Therefore, I planned to propose her a marriage. This is the right time, bro, and my decision to marry him is final. Do I have to wait another year? Two or more? Until I'm really old I won't be able to marry the girl I love?" he asked and Railey nodded at him.

There is a point in what he said. His parents are also teasing him about when he will marry Molly. His relationship with the girl is not hidden from his knowledge. Their relationship is legal and both their parents know them.

"Wish you all the best, bro. Alright, I'll go out first. There is a waiter outside and I will prepare the food you ordered as soon as your girlfriend arrives. Good luck, okay?" he said and patted his shoulder.

"Thanks, bro."

"I will serve the red wine right away to give you courage for what you will do later and then you must tell me good news, alright?" it says after the fact.

"Okay," he answered sparingly, followed by a nod.

When it came out, he took a deep breath. His chest pounded hard. Why did he drink coffee earlier while waiting for it? He felt nervous.

After a while, the door opened and he was waiting for the waiter to come in because he was going to serve red wine. It even translated him into a wine glass.

He took it and swallowed its contents. He tasted the strong wine and it was cold in his throat. It's bitter, but it's also sweet.

He didn't have to wait long before the person he was waiting for arrived. He stood up to meet her.

"Babe," he said with a smile. He smiled at her so it was really worth it for her to wait here for a long time.

He kissed her on the cheek so that her nose smelled of his fragrant perfume.

"I'm sorry if I'm late, babe. Something was taken care of before I came here," he excused himself.

As a good boyfriend and understanding he doesn't have that. He just nodded and returned a kiss on her cheek.

"The important thing is that you arrived." And my plan for tonight is not sloppy. Only in his mind did he say the last word that came out of his mouth, even though he was the only one who could hear it.

He pulled her a chair and then she returned to her place earlier. He also had a bouquet of roses and handed it to his girlfriend.

"Thanks, baby. You are really sweet no matter when," he said to her.

"As long as it's for you, I will really do everything," he said with a smile.

He poured water into the glass and drank. "Have you ordered our food yet, babe?" he asked her.

"Yes. I know your favorite food at Railey's restaurant," he answered.

Just a few seconds ago, the waiter delivered the food they ordered and the two of them started eating. He kept glancing at the girl to check her.

He didn't really wonder why she became a model because of her beauty. He is really attractive in the eyes of the crowd so he is lucky that he became her boyfriend and he was the first man to feel her love.

When they finished their dinner, dessert was the last thing served to them. The food they ate was absolutely delicious because this night was special. Until they also drank red wine.

He took a deep breath before standing up. Molly looked in his direction and was surprised when he approached her.

"Babe?" it sucks.

"I've been preparing and waiting for this for a long time, Molly," he said and his girlfriend seemed to know immediately what he was going to do because she also stood up in shock.

"W-Wade..." he stammered his name and knelt down showing the ring he bought.

If he doesn't do this then how long will he wait for this scene to happen? If he doesn't have the courage to propose, how long will he wait for the right time?

Will their relationship last another year? More than two years? Why would he wait so long if he could do this?

"For many years I have known you, Molly. You know I have loved no other woman besides you. You are really the only woman in my life," he promised softly but it was enough for him to hear what he had to say.

"I-I know that, Wade," he said.

"I've thought about it carefully and I'm serious about my plan now, I've made up my mind because I know you're the only woman I want to be with until I'm old, Molly. You are the only woman that makes my heart beat and I don't see any other woman that I can love besides you. That's why... I'm here today, kneeling in front of you because I'm asking for your hands to marry me," he said at length, becoming emotional at the end.

"W-Wade... I didn't... H-I didn't expect this," he said and he saw the tears falling so he already knew what he would answer.

"Molly Allison, will you be my---" but before he finished his question, his girlfriend immediately answered him.

An answer that could destroy his dream and life. An answer that he didn't expect to come out of his mouth. An answer that broke his heart.

"I'm sorry, Wade. But I'm not ready yet. H-I can't marry you yet. H-Not yet, babe..." she said even though she was crying. He didn't understand why she rejected his marriage proposal immediately.

He doesn't understand why she rejected him but is still crying?

"Molly," he said her name.

"I-I'm so sorry, Wade... I-I'm not really ready to marry you," she sobbed.

"W-Why?" he asked in shock and he felt the edge of his tears.

"Wade..."
