Chapter 2 2

Wade SMILES as he looks at the precious rings. They are so beautiful that he almost can't choose anymore because they are really beautiful but he has to choose more because he is excited about what will happen later. This was one of the opportunities he was waiting for.

"Miss, what's the best thing about it? can you help me It's so beautiful that I'm having a hard time choosing," he said shyly to the saleslady and she smiled sweetly at him.

"Is this like your marriage proposal to your girlfriend, Sir?" he asked her politely. He nodded in response. "What kind of woman is your girlfriend, Sir?" he asked again while looking at the rings already lined up.

"Uhm... She's a model," he answered because that was the only thing he could say so that the woman wouldn't be in trouble.

But Molly Allison, his long-term girlfriend, is really nice. He was also caring and considerate, so that was one of the things he liked about Molly. It's not snobbish and it's still very approachable.

He knew the girl when they were still in high school until they became friends, but when they both went to college, he broke up with her. He only answered when they were in their third year of college.

So the two of them have been in a relationship for almost ten years. Only now did he think of proposing to his girlfriend. It's not because he's not ready or he's just having second thoughts.

He knows that Molly's dream is to become a model and that it will be successful, for the sake of her parents. He is like that, so they enjoy their relationship as lovers first. They love each other. That's what he knew they felt.

Now he knows that his girlfriend will not reject his marriage proposal. He doesn't see any other woman that he will love and become his wife, so for him, he knows that Molly is the woman he will be with forever.

"Here, Sir. I'm sure he will like that and won't think twice about rejecting your offer to marry him," he said. He really believed that the saleslady had flowery words because she knew how to salestalk with her customers but it was a big help for her.

He looked at the ring with the white diamond, it was just the right size but not too small.

"Thank you, Miss," he said and he also paid after.

He just put the velvet box in his pants pocket then he came out of the jewelry shop. He went to the parking space where his Bercedes-benz car was also parked.

Wade Hansley Esquivias, 30-year-old. Kind, humble, with a good heart and serious about his work. He is a businessman who owns Esquivias Car Rental which they even imported from abroad. All the cars they import are limited edition and only rich people, politicians visit his company just to buy a new car.

He also likes to collect sports cars and the price of these is not just because they can reach millions. Because of his being a good person, he was blessed with a beautiful and kind girlfriend, that is Molly Allison. Although their relationship is only a secret.

But he has a lot of confidence. If he proposes to her, he knows that she will answer him and that's when he will be introduced as her boyfriend.

He opened the door of his car and got in. The seatbelt was attached to his body and then he started driving.

He took his cellphone and connected it to his speaker. He called his girlfriend and made several rings before she answered his call.

"Babe, where are you?" he asked.

"Why?" he asked her sparingly. He was surprised at first because he didn't seem to be in the mood to speak because his voice was lifeless.

"I want to see you now, eh. You're not busy, are you? I have reserved a table at a fancy restaurant. Let's eat outside, babe," he said with a smile.

"Okay."

"I'll just pick you up," he said.

"No, I'll just go. Just tell me which restaurant we're going to eat dinner at."

"Okay. Bye, I love you," he said. He waited for her to answer and he thought he wouldn't answer anymore. Because he could hear her sighing.

"I love you too, babe," he replied and his smile widened. His heart was beating fast. He really loves Molly and there is nothing more he can ask for than her answer to his marriage proposal later.

He finally called his best friend, Railey Valeroso, a chef and owner of a large and famous restaurant in the country that has also branched out into many other countries.

"Just you, Wade," his friend replied when he said he wanted to make a reservation at his restaurant.

"Thank you, brother."

"Do you have plans to marry your long-term girlfriend? You must now have children. You have been in a relationship for over ten years. But you are still lovers," he told her to which she nodded.

"We're not in a hurry, Railey. You really only got married to Venice earlier, bro," he said. Venice is his wife and also Molly's best friend.

"Bro, if you don't really love Molly, I will really fix you with another girl. Look, your relationship with him is still a secret? Which guy has been modeling with her. I really wonder if he really loves you and can hide you from everyone. You are also successful, ah. You are the type of man who is not ashamed to be known as her boyfriend."

"I know that, Railey. But the important thing is that we love each other. Even though our relationship was only until we were lovers," he said, making her sigh from the other line.

"Wade, I'm your friend and I'm just really concerned about him. Well, you're not getting any younger either. You're going to miss the calendar, bro," he reminded him, which made him laugh.

"Yes. Thanks for the concern. But wish me luck," he said.

"Goodluck then," he said to her then he hung up.

What he said made him think that which man has been his partner in modeling what kind of clothes. That is not unknown to him. The girl often informs him that he has a new partner, so he really distrusts his girlfriends.

He wouldn't do something that might hurt her feelings. He also feels that she loves him.

Before everything, Wade decided to go to a clothing line to buy something nice to wear for later. He should prepare for himself.

He chose to visit the building owned by the Garcia family, one of the famous clothing lines here in the Philippines. When he got there, he got down and went inside.

The saleslady greeted him and he only responded with a smile. He went to the male section and began to choose.

He sees many suits and coats. It's also beautiful but it's really hard for him to choose. Because maybe he is acting like this out of excitement.

He is really quick to choose things. Only now he really struggled.

He took the maroon suit and examined its fabric carefully. It was thick but he was sure it wasn't hot. He walked over to the big mirror and put the clothes on his body. He nodded. Because its color suits her complexion. He is mestizo and also tall.

He was once mistaken for a model because of his height, but he never once considered entering that industry. It's okay for him to be a CEO of his car rental company.

"Wear it if you want, Sir. So you can be sure if it fits you and if it's appropriate," the saleslady told him. He shook his head.

"No, it's fine. I will just pay at the counter," he said with a smile. He took the suit from him and he followed the woman but she stopped him. "I will choose shoes and necktie first," he said. With the two things he was going to buy, he didn't have any more trouble because he had already based them on the color of his clothes, then they went to the counter and he paid his bills there.

"Here it is, Sir. Thank you and please come again," said the woman at the counter.

"Thank you."

His family is also one of the richest. Being an entrepreneur is really in their blood. His partner's business is also a big company.

Esquivias Real Estate Company, only his is really different because they import cars. They only have two siblings and their youngest is a girl. His Mommy and Daddy are kind, so they support him in his chosen business.

Without their help, his business would not be successful. So he knows that the parents themselves are the key for the good future of their children. So he loves them very much.
