Chapter 4 IT JUST BEGUN

On their way to the farm land, discord stared outside the carriage, her eyes beamed with excitement at what her mom would possibly want to show her, the thought of Sophia also engulfed her heart deep down she knew this was because of her she has watched how her mother turned down all her siblings just to be with her first it was Zeke her second brother, he had been told by king to join the soldiers in preparation to a battle they have been planning

"Let me know all that you would need, to make sure your training goes smoothly" the king had said to zeke "your mother would accompany you to meet the head soldiers of the South army, he would be the one to train the prince in other to become a great swords-man" discord was hoping her mother would not turn down the request because she was supposed to start her princess etiquettes training.

"Im very sorry my lord, but I have to take discord to her etiquette training tomorrow, maybe perhaps he could go with lord festus" she said calmly...it wasn't right to disobey the king Infront of his subjects, Japhet looked at terra who seemed stern oh her word, he then turn to look at discord who tried smiling at her father.

"Alright....I would inform lord festus of your arrival" the king announced, the look on Zeke's face wasn't a pleasant one...he walked furiously out of his father's chamber, discord had seen him leave and prayed he wouldn't blame his mother for this...but her.

Second was princess Annabelle, she was the third child. she had come to the end of her educational level and should be graduating tomorrow, she knew her father the king wouldn't be able to attend due to the fact that he had a lot of meetings to attend too , but her mother the queen would.

She decided to tell her mother about joining her tomorrow for her graduation, because her friend's parents or mothers would be attending, infact her father was the highest when it comes to kingship, so it would be a honour to have the queen present at the graduation ceremony.

"Mother, my graduation ceremony is tomorrow, and my friends and their mothers are going to be there, I was hoping you could join me as father would be unable to go" she held her mums hands tightly, discord had seen how eager Annabelle wanted terra to go with her to the ceremony, but her mother had told her she would join her for tea party tomorrow in her play house, as she was the youngest, and she knew terra would turn Annabelle down.

"I'm afraid I can't dear, for your sister is the youngest and I have to play and build my bond with her" she said and smiled rubbing discord hair, Annabelle eyes fell on discord who was smiling back at her mother "but mother, dont you see how important that day is to me? Annabelle could not believe her eyes and ears on how her mother was behaving, why would she do this to her, she couldn't imagine how her friend would react when they realized no one of her parents would be attending her ceremony. Annabelle ran out of the room I'm tears...she was full of anger and hate, she had met Joel who was the eldest brother to all of them and had reported her mother to him, he was sad but hid it just to console her "i will go with you then, im sure your friends would love to see how handsome your brother is" he teased her a little, it worked because Annabelle had started smiling again .

And now Sophia, which happened today discord knew deep down that her mother would never want her to blame herself for what going on with her siblings. They got to the farm land , after some hours, terra led discord by the hands as they approached the farmer in charge.

"Ponies" discord was full of joy she jumped and hugged her mother " mum please I want one" she tugged unto terra's dress it a pleading eye.

"Anything for you my love " she smiled back at discord who's excitement increased. " I'll take one of the ponies, that one" she pointed to a white one that had a brown tail with a pink ribbon tied across it neck.

"Yes my queen" the farmer immediately went to untie the pony and brought it to the queen, the royal guard was quick to pay him "do you like it" terra asked with a smile "yes!!! ...I love it, thank you mother" she hugged the queen " can i touch it" she asked, terra nodded to her and she went further to meet the pony, she used her hands to pat the body of the pony as it was taller than her

Suddenly they heard the neigh and cry of the pony, it leg had broken...it was shocking to terra who looked frightened at how de-formed the horse had become, discord was shocked including the farmer who couldn't believe his eyes, he rushed to the horse who had fallen to the ground, it bones had pierced out through it skin, the white pony was now covered in blood.

Inside the carriage no one said a word to each other, the surprise they had expected had now turned into a terrible sight, terra couldn't stop thinking about what just happened, the scenero kept on playing in her head over and over again

Discord couldn't understand how her touch could affect a strong healthy pony, she was now scared of her hands she kept on staring at it and vowed never to touch anyone or anything ever again. They got to the palace, terra ordered the head maiden to take discord to her room and prepare her for bed, while she went straight to the royal chamber were Japhet was "The Queen is here" they had announced, Japhet raised his head when he saw terra approaching him he smiled at her, but noticed the worry look on her face, every time she was troubled ...it had something to do with his daughter discord, but what it be this time.
